While Lost Ark may call them the Sylvain, Rohendel is essentially the land of the elves. Most of the continent is woodland, inhabited by creatures such as faeries, elementals and treants. But as you’ve no doubt come to expect, many of these creatures have come under the influence of demons – and they’re not as welcoming as they once might have been.

Fifteen of these monsters are needed to help complete your Adventurer’s Tome. Their locations are spread far and wide across all of Rohendel’s five main competitive areas. You won’t find any monsters you need in its tricky dungeons, so that’s something. But you’ll still have to do a lot of legwork. Read on to find details of all the monster locations.

Sakuul Alpha

Head to the Fairy Settlement Triport and leave it southwest along the pathway. At the end of the path go left of the large rock in front of you . As you keep walking southwest, you’ll soon come face to face with a pack of Sakuul – one of which will be the Sakuul Alpha you’re looking for.

Enhanced Elemental Dust Moth

If you start out from the Fairy Settlement Triport, go under the archway that’s just to your southwest and follow the path. When you see a large rock in front of you, turn right and follow the northern edge of the map. Keep right as the path forks to arrive at a shallow lake . The Enhanced Elemental Dust Moth will be in the middle of it, as part of a large group of mobs.

Dewdrop Elemental Boss

It’s a bit of a trek to battle these guys. You need to go to the Flowstream Village but then head way north of it, through the village and up either of the slopes that lead up and north to the Sanctum of Water . Once inside, you’ll find several Dewdrop Elemental Boss mobs, the closest being a little to your west as you enter the sanctum proper.

Fierce Toadling

Head to the Flowstream Village Triport and go west , just below the village. Follow the path west , not southwest , onto a large shallow lake. You’ll find a Fierce Toadling spawns here, just on the north side of the massive central pink lily . If you don’t find one at this location, you can instead head directly north from here hugging the eastern edge of the area. If you get to the path that goes north to the Sanctum of Water, you’ve gone a little too far.

Enraged Treant

Start by porting over to the Foehn Plains Triport in the north of the area. Head directly east , until you see a path heading south to the small market area where you can find Potion Merchant Temil and Repairer Eddard . Instead of taking the path, keep heading east hugging the southern border along by the trees. A few steps further past the path you should come across an Enraged Treant .

Wing Elemental Boss

Starting from the Breezesome Brae Triport, leave the village northeast across the long stone bridge and into the Verdure Plains. As you enter the area, turn left (north) and keep to the west side of the map . You should soon discover the Wing Elemental Boss you’re looking for here, before you reach the northern tip of the area.

Furious Fire Elemental

Head over to the Fairy Village Triport and take the path that heads southeast across to Dandelion Station. Head right across this large zone southeast to Flower Tree Farm , keeping to the eastern edge of the map. There are several Furious Fire Elementals spawning here, so just wander the burning streets until you find one. It won’t take you long.

Lead Mutated Xeneelan Beast

Work your way west from the Contaminated village Triport and head up on the lift . At the top, follow the east side of the map as it winds its way south. As long as you stick to the east of the path, you’ll should come across a Lead Mutated Xeneelan Beast. If you get to the point where the path thins as it goes southwest, where it says Magick Epicenter on the map, you’ve just gone too far.

Enraged Xeneela Construct

If you start out at the Moonkeep Hill Triport, head directly southwest down the steps past the guards while hugging the right (northwest) edge of map. You should find your Enraged Xeneela Construct in a nook on your right as you go , almost opposite the point where you can climb down towards the Celestial Plaza. If you don’t find one here, head south to where Magmadon spawns. You’ll also find a construct spawns just south of that spot.

Resurrected Xeneelan Sylvain

Go to the Forgotten Grave Triport and head west , away from the Realm of Elementals dungeon. You’ll soon come to groups of Sylvain fighting against their resurrected brothers. Move past them and keep heading west through the camp. More Sylvain are fighting here, just north of the entrance to Moonkeep . You’ll either find your Resurrected Xeneelan Sylvain here, or east of that first camp. It seems to spawn randomly but is slightly larger than the others and carries the familiar golden mark above its head.

Old Xeneelan Relic

You can either start out from the Moonkeep Hill Triport or the portal in from Breezesome Brae – either way, it’s a bit of a trek to finds this one. Head to the small outpost in the southeast of the area, where you’ll find Potion Merchant Schlen and Repairer Iker . Leave by either exit and enter the area directly north of the camp to find an Old Xeneelan Relic amongst a large group of constructs.

Mossrock Construct Boss

Portal in from Rothun or go to Shadowed Earth Triport – either way, leave the first area east and stick to southern edge of the map. You’ll soon come to a large nook on the south side of the path – and in it, you should find the Mossrock Construct Boss you seek. You’ll know you’ve found one as they’re the only ones here that will attack you. But if you damage any others while you battle, they’re sure to join in.

If you’ve found the Mossrock Construct Boss (above), all you need do is walk a few steps northeast into the next nook on the south side of the path – because there you should find a Dryad Boss . If you can’t find either one of them here, or if the area is being heavily camped, you can also find both monsters in West Knurlroot Forest.

Corrupted Phantom Demon Dog

Head north from East Knurlroot Forest Triport along the long path and into East Stardust Forest. As you enter it, immediately turn left and walk directly east across the area into its southwestern corner to find a Corrupt Phantom Demon Dog . If one isn’t spawning here, you’ll need to instead go to West Stardust Forest . If you take the ferry across from Shaded River, stick to the north of the map and go into its northwest corner (where you can also find a Mokoko Seed).

Wand Gargoyle Boss

Go south from East Stardust Forest Triport, then southwest at the first fork into Elzowin’s Embrace. Once you arrive, stick left along its eastern edge and work your way south . You should encounter a Wand Gargoyle Boss in the south-eastern corner. But if not, now work along the southern edge of Elzowin’s Embrace heading west , where there’s another spawn point in the southwest corner.

There are places all around Rohendel with different variants of monsters. Some big some small, some that inflict poison ect. From shining forces all the way to flying void creatures, Rohendel is a rollercoaster of monsters, you can never get bored once you get there. It’s interesting how the map itself is sliced up into four pieces.

This is list of all the monsters in Rohendel.

All Rohendel Monster Locations – Lost Ark

• Lake Shiverwave – Sakuul Alpha

The Sakuul Alphas are located in Lake Shiverwave, they come in packs and are a melee attacking monster.

• Lake Shiverwave – Enhanced Elemental Dust Moth

The Enhanced Elemental Dust Moth monster is located in Lake Shiverwave, they come one at a time and are a melee attacking monster.

• Glass Lotus Lake – Dewdrop Elemental Boss

The Dewdrop Elemental Boss is a shiny lighted force which moves around in packs, they are located in Glass Lotus Lake and are a ranged attacking monster.

• Glass Lotus Lake – Fierce Toading

The Fierce Toads come in packs and are located in Glass Lotus Lake, they are a melee attacking monster.

• Glass Lotus Lake – Enraged Treant

The Enraged Treant monsters are trees located in Glass Lotus Lake, they come in packs and are a melee attacking monsters.

• Breezesome Brae – Wing Elemental Boss

The Wing Elemental Boss monsters are located in Breezesome Brae, they come in packs and are a melee attacking monsters.

The Furious Fire Elemental are monsters located in Breezesome Brae, they come in packs and are a melee fighting monster.

Enraged Xeneela Constructs are giant rock monsters which come in packs and are located in Xeneela Ruins, they are a melee attacking monster.

Lost Ark is similar to Diablo or Vindictus in terms of gameplay. With its rising fame, people are continuously partying up, grinding, and taking on difficult quests together. Rohendel is one such continent out of many that people must play through and fill its adventure tome. In this guide, we will be talking about how to complete your Lost Ark Rohendel Adventure Tome .

Key Highlights

• Rohendel is one of the continents in Lost Ark and to enter the continent you must have  item level 460 .
• There are  x5 main quests  in this continent.
• You will get rewards based on the completion percentage. The more progress you make, the more rewards you get.
• In the Rohendel continent, there is a total of  x9 vistas .
• Along with the main quests in Rohendel continent, there are two chain side quests as well;  Music Echoes in Elzowin,  and Return Trip.
• Hidden quests are also part of this continent. You will have  x7 hidden quests  and completing them will grant you  charisma  points.
• Dungeons are also there but if you want to skip them, you can! There are 2 dungeons, however. But if you want to complete dungeons, you will have to complete them twice; once in normal difficulty and once in hard difficulty.
• There is a handful of unique monsters as well. They are different from the usual mobs and are deadlier too. They drop items similar to lucky monsters. One can think of them as mini-bosses. They are found in specific locations of the continent. 
• You will encounter one main boss named  “Magamadon”  a  level 50  boss found in  Ruin of Xeleena.

What is Rohendel Adventure Tome?

In Lost Ark, you have access to adventure tomes. This is similar to a journal, which holds records of your progress of the main quest across all continents in Lost Ark. But these adventure tomes also include recipes, rewards, and more stuff that will help you guide throughout the game.

There is a separate Adventure Tome for every continent. Rohendel is one of the continents in the games that players can enter. And you must have item level 460 to reach the Rohendel continent. Also, why not go through our Lost Ark Skins guide.

Main Quest and Reward

On the right side of the Lost Ark Adventure Tome, you can see that there is a quest ongoing and how much percent it is completed. It also shows the rewards you will receive when you reach a certain percentage of completion. You can keep track of rewards that you can receive while completing the main quest that is active. There are five main quests that you have to complete in order to progress further in the game. They are listed below:

• An Audience with the Queen
• Wailing Wind
• Gherdia’s tracks
• Overflowing FLames

These quests come with rewards as well but as you progress through the continents you get rewards on the percentage of completion.

Rohendel main quest rewards are given as below:

• 10%: Phoenix Plume x20
• 20%: Wisdom Potion
• 30%: Sylvain Queens’ Blessing
• 40%: Masterpiece # 30
• 50%: Secret Map
• 60%: Song of Eternity
• 70%: Skill Point Potion
• 80%: Silver Wave Merchant Guild’s Invitation

Side Quests

On the top right section of the Adventure Tome tab, it shows ongoing side quests that a player can finish alongside the main quest which is shown on the left side. When you hover your mouse over it, it shows the details of the quest, giving you a general idea of its location.

It also shows what reward or stat points you will be given as rewards after completing the quests. There are two side quest chains that can be completed on the continent of Rohendel. and they are listed below:

• Music Echoes in Elzowin
• Return Trip

Hidden Quests Available in Lost Ark Rohendel Aventure Tome

On the right middle side of the Adventure Tome, there is a portion for the hidden quests. This gives you the name of the hidden quests that are scattered throughout entire continents. You have to go find them by yourself though, this will activate these hidden quests.

When you complete a hidden quest it checkmarks it in the Adventure Tome. It will also add some points of “charisma” to your player’s stats. There are more ways to increase charisma in Lost Ark as well, so consider reading our guide.

There are a total of seven hidden quests in the continent of Rohendel. The name of these quests as well as their location are given below:

• A Song f the Phantom 2/2, this quest is located in Xeneela Ruins
• The Story of My Grandfather 1/1, this quest is located in Glass Lotus Lake
• A Man Called the Sylvain Hunter 3/3, this quest is located in Elzowin’s Shade
• Unsaid Words 5/5, this quest is located in Breezesome Brae
• Oath of Blue Eyes 3/3, this quest is located in Rothun
• The Past Lost 4/4, this quest is located in Rothun
• The Secret Recipe 4/4, this quest is located in Lake Shiverwave

On the Adventure Tome, you can see the dungeons that are available on the continent that you have selected. Not all dungeons are necessary for the main quest to be completed. So even if you want to complete the game you can ignore them. But for the sake of getting full credit in your Adventure Tome, you have to complete all the dungeons.

Dungeons are to be completed twice with one being in normal mode and the other in hard mode. This is shown in the color of the helmet on the picture of the dungeon in the Adventure Tome. Blue represents the normal mode and red represents the hard mode. The rewards for completing a dungeon also depend on which difficulty you complete it.

There are two dungeons that are present on the Rohendel Adventure Tome . The name of these dungeons is “Realm of Elementals” and “Phantom Palace”.

Collectibles

On the top middle part of the Adventure Tome, there is a list of collectible items. These collectible items can be found in the selected continent of your choice. You can obtain the collectibles items by hunting monsters and looting the items they drop. You can also look for the lucky monsters that always drop some loot for higher possibilities and to save time.

The other way to obtain collectibles is to purchase them through the market. On the below right section of the screen, in the community option, you can open the marketplace. This is where you can browse items to buy and sell the ones you possess.

The items on the market can only be purchased through gold . Due to that, this method is not recommended for players because it is difficult to get your hands on gold. So unless the item that you wanna purchase is really necessary or you want that stat boost, you should go and hunt for the collectibles.

As this marketplace is used by other players, they set the price of the collectibles. To save gold, wait for a player to sell the item you are looking for at a reasonable price.

There are seven collectibles mentioned in the Rohendel Adventure Tome and they are listed below:

• Ether Essence (Epic)
• Pit-A-Pat Macaron (Epic)
• Jelly Chew (Epic)
• Sweet Honey Butter Beer (Epic)
• Tooki Tooki Soup (Legendary)
• Zechbas (Legendary)
• Snail Roll Cake (Legendary)

Unique Monsters in Rohendel Adventure Tome

Besides the collectible items, there is a section of unique monsters that you can hunt. These are rare, named monsters that are stronger than the rest of the mobs. Also, these monsters always drop items similar to those of lucky monsters. They can also be considered mini-bosses of this game.

You can distinguish the unique monsters by the icon hovering over its head. And if you hover your mouse over the monster you can also tell the name along with the health bar that pops up. These monsters can only be found in specific locations throughout the whole continent.  

There are a total of 15 unique monsters in the continent of Rohendel and they are listed below:

Boss Monster

Right below the unique monsters in the Adventure Tome, there is a boss monster section. This shows the boss monsters of the continent that is selected. They spawn in one and only one specific location on the continent. These boss monsters are meant to be fought with a group due to their difficulty.

They are tough opponents to defeat and are much stronger than all the other mobs. They drop multiple items and give you a great experience bonus to level up once you defeat them.

Boss Monsters can spawn every once in a while but only in one channel at a time. You can switch channels from above the map on your screen. There can be various channels available to the player. And you can also ask in chat, where the boss spawned and switch to that channel and fight alongside other players. 

The name of the boss monster in the continent of Rohendel is “ Magamadon “. he is a level 50 world boss and can be found in the Ruin of Xeleena .

Demon Beast Canyon Abyssal Dungeon Guide

Introduction

Demon Beast Canyon is the first TIER 1 Abyssal Dungeon and you need to be at least 340 Item Level to enter this Abyssal Dungeon . This dungeon drops Tier 1 Accessories , Ability Stones , Engraving Books , Cards and materials to craft the sets Rugged Valley Launcher and Seraphic Oath Launcher . After clearing the dungeon, you can pay gold to get additional loot. The recommended Combat Items are HP Potion and Splendid Whirlwind Grenade .

This dungeon isn’t that difficult but you will be introduced to a few new co-op mechanics.

This guide assumes that you are familiar with the recommended Raid Build for your class.

First Boss: Corrupted Vazuela

Corrupted Vazuela has slow attack animations making it an easy boss battle. Vazuela spawns Blood Puddles on the ground reducing the amount of safe space you can stand in without taking damage. The longer this fight takes the more difficult it becomes.

To prevent this from happening, it is recommended to use skills and Combat Items which reduce the purple Stagger bar below the Guardian's HP. Once you deplete the purple bar and stagger the boss, all Blood Puddles are removed from the battleground.

Special Interactions & Patterns

Blood puddle.

Corrupted Vazuela locks onto a player and marks that player with a blue crosshair. After a short delay, the boss spits a blood puddle on the targeted player. Everyone standing on that puddle takes a decent amount of damage every second. The placement of the puddle is important. If you are the marked player, you need to place the blood puddle at the edge of the battleground. Try to overlap new puddles with the existing ones at the edge. These blood puddles last until the boss gets staggered. Misplacing the puddles and not having enough stagger related skills and combat items can increase the difficulty of this boss fight.

General Patterns

A simple swipe attack which deals low damage and knocks back players on hit.

Vazuela prepares for a rolling charge attack. The charging path is highlighted as a red telegraph. Getting hit by this attack deals medium damage and knocks up the player.

This is the highest damage dealing skill of this boss. Vazuela jumps into the air and splashes back to the ground after a short delay. The landing spot is highlighted by a red telegraph. One second after hitting the ground, the initial impact causes a huge shockwave which covers a huge area outside of the initial landing spot. To avoid the shockwave, try to position yourself at the edge of the telegraph highlighting the initial landing spot. Once the boss hits the ground, take at least one step towards the boss. By doing so, you shouldn't get hit by the shockwave.

Blood Explosion

Corrupted Vazuela charges for a few seconds before releasing a blood explosion around itself. This attack deals high damage and knocks up players on hit.

Second Boss: Hideous Scarkril

Hideous Scarkrill is the second boss of Demon Beast Canyon. It's more agile than the first boss and enters a stealth mode a few minutes after the initial encounter. To remove the stealth you need to work as a team and force the boss to teleport to specific locations.

Stealth Mode

Hideous Scarkrill enters stealth around 1-2 minutes after the start of the boss fight. While in this mode the boss takes reduced damage and only does teleport and spin attacks. At the same time, one orb spawns at the edge of the battleground in each cardinal direction. The only way to force the boss back to normal mode is to make him teleport close to each of the orbs and do the spin attack. When successful, the boss will destroy the orb with a spin attack and make it explode. This explosion staggers the boss for a few seconds. Use this opportunity to run as a team either clockwise or counterclockwise to the next orb. Scarkrill returns to normal mode once all 4 orb explosions hit the boss. Be aware that the spin attack of the boss and the orb explosion combined deal a decent amount of damage to the player on hit. To prevent this from happening, move or dodge immediately towards the next orb as soon as the boss teleports to the orb next to you.

Leeching Circles

Most of this boss's attacks have a chance to apply a leeching circle around a player. This circle triggers a few seconds afterwards and deals damage to any nearby party members. Make sure to keep your distance from other players until this circle disappears.

Scarkrill throws a hook chain towards a player which causes knockback and deals low damage on hit. Being further away from the boss increases the chance of getting hit by this attack.

Frontal Orbs

The boss shoots 5 orbs in a 180° angle which deal low damage and stagger player on hit.

Ground Explosion s

Scarkrill spawns big exploding circles on the ground at random locations. Players hit by the circle take medium damage and are knocked up.

Teleport Combo

The boss teleports close to a player and uses a short range frontal attack, followed by a 360° spin attack. Both attacks deal low damage and knock up on hit.

Scarkrill stands still starts to suck in air from both sides in a cone shaped area. Standing in it deals a low amount of damage every second. This attack animation lasts for a while, use this time to deal as much damage as possible.

Frontal Shockwave

The boss channels for a few seconds before unleashing a shockwave in front of him. This attacks deals medium damage and knocks up on hit. This is another attack which gives you a big window of opportunity to deal uninterrupted damage to the boss.

Alfred, Knight of the Tower Notes and Tips:

• Alfred, Knight of the Tower, alongside his companions Long Bow Oolan, Vallarfax and Biorr of the Royal Twin Fangs and Metas, Knight of the Lance, is known as a legendary knight who helped to lead Boletaria before the colourless mist swept across the land.
• Much like his companions, specifically Long Bow Oolan and Metas, Knight of the Lance, Alfred was one of the knights to help defend Boletaria when the fog arrived. However, also like Oolan and Metas, Alfred was eventually corrupted by the fog's influence and turned into a demon, the  Tower Knight . Ironically, or perhaps impressively, he continues to guard the Boletarian palace even after he has been twisted into a demonic form... Albeit, likely with more nefarious purposes in mind.

Does killing them change your character tendency?

A little strange that Alfred is the Tower Knight, but wields the weapons you gain from the Penetrator's Soul.

Oh so they got corrupted by the fog, thats why they are already Black Phantom. Should have read this before, my bad :]
