We were brave enough to enter this old town attraction last night while on our honeymoon n Florida n were not disappointed! Encouraged by some of "the horror cast" n the street in theatrical dress n scary make-up to enter at our own risk n experience what lay inside we ventured in! At $15 n a deduction f you buy something from the gift shop it was excellent value! The cast were witty and funny and the overall experience was a v authentic n well put together tour! Whether you are a Horror fan or not , some of the unexpected events would make even the bravest amongst visitors scream!! This is a safe non interactive tour suitable for Adults n children over 12 n as you move through the house in a small group of six with your guide be prepared to be scared and thrilled!!! Thanxs to the cast for a truly spooky experience n the macabre from my husband and myself !! Fans of Horror From the Uk

We went off on a Saturday night to see the classic cars drive-by. The Old Town is grubby, run-down and a bit dodgy - and I certainly wouldn't want to be there after dark. Shops are either imported tourist rubbish, or slightly weird. Parking is almost impossible unless you pay $10 and walk for 5 minutes across rough ground. The decent fun fair rides are over the fence, in a separate area (with a separate entrance fee), though there are dodgems, a catapult, a go-kart track and some children's rides in the Old Town. Plenty of food & drink places, but they either looked or smelled appalling, so we didn't bother. On the positive side, the live entertainment was quite good, and the vintage cars were beautiful. We really enjoyed the drive-by, and the Old Town is a great setting for it.

Old town is a weird yet wonderful place. It's full of quirky shops, different kinds of folk, amusement rides and bars. There is quite a lot to do so make sure you spare yourself a couple of hours to wander through the old town after your dinner. It's best visited on a Saturday night where they regularly have classic car parades. It's noisy but good fun and it's great looking at all the cars which are very well looked after. The shops are quirky and if you want weird and wonderful presents then old town won't disappoint. For the kids among you there is also a small amusement park with rides to suit young and old, however, it's particularly pricey!!!! Make sure you enjoy a drink in one of the bars and sit outside and watch the world go past. This is definitely a must for people who love to people watch!

This is one of those things you have to be "into" to enjoy. We visited on a Friday night around 7PM and parking was hard to find. Once we found parking, we started walking around and were not impressed with anything we saw. Sure they have old shops that you can look around in but nothing that I couldn't buy in my hometown. It was just 'okay' to me. I did see a lot of people that appeared to be having fun. I think this is a personal preference type place. Worth a shot if you think you might like it.

Worth a visit if you're in the area, and a great opportunity to see some US car muscle on a Friday night. There's music and some older style fairground rides and some interesting shops - allow 2 to 3 hours.

It's impossible to image how bad and horrifying this agent name as "Steve" can be! Things are supposed to be so easy and possible, after handing by him, such easy thing never exists, instead he came up some so-called "Budget Rental Rules" that Budget Rental Car Company never ever issued! Horrifying experience to deal with this agent that can be so profoundly inflexible and impossibly working with! He can say no to things like "sun rises everyday". Unbelievable how this place can even hire such person in service business. Never ever go to this horrifying agent --- Steve at Budget Retal Car at Old Town.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — At the Old Town theme park, you can wander through a haunted house, dress up like a cowboy, munch salt water taffy and croon karaoke.

Just like at a classic Ocean City boardwalk.

Old Town is a low-key affordable option to big parks like Disney and Universal.

Parking and admission are both free. You can wander old-timey streets filled with dozens of shops while drinking a beer that does not cost a mortgage payment.

Old Town, which has been in Kissimmee for more than three decades, is in the midst of a $20 million renovation.

Highlights include:

• Portrait Gallery: an immersive dress-up photo studio with highly detailed themed rooms
• Mortem Manor: an intense walk-thru haunted house with animatronics and scare actors
• Frogger’s: a bar and grill with a ginormous delicious challenge called the Bullfrog Burger

Halloween 2023: Your guide to haunted houses, attractions near Columbus and across Ohio

Ohio has no shortage of haunted houses and attractions, which makes sense as the state is regularly named one of the most haunted in the country .

Around Columbus and within driving distance are some truly scary haunted attractions in a variety of settings, including experiences at the old Ohio State Reformatory and the Historic Licking County Jail, an old schoolhouse, a former town hall and more.

Ohio sites are named among the top haunted attractions and best theme park Halloween events in the country, according to USA Today readers. Escape from Blood Prison at the Ohio State Reformatory was named among the nominees for top haunted attractions. Kings Island's Halloween Haunt and Cedar Point's HalloWeekends were ranked 4th and 9th, respectively, for top theme park events.

Fear Columbus

Highlights : Make your way through two haunted houses, one where a cult is summoning demons and a new attraction, where high school students mistakenly release an "unspeakable force" on the eve of Halloween, aka Devil's Night.

Admission : Tickets online only, starting at $19.99 and vary based on date and demand

Age recommendations : Not recommended for children younger than 13. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Carnage Haunted House

Highlights : Make your way through two haunted areas: The Bayou is a swamp full of cursed creatures, and The Entity is an abandoned hospital occupied by a spooky being.

ZOMBIEzi Bay

Where : Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, 4850 Powell Road, Delaware County

Highlights : Four haunted houses include Eternal Darkness, Pleasant Screams Laboratory, the Sinister Sideshow and new this year, Grave. Scare zones include Photosynthesis and Welcome to Dead River. Rides, including a bumper car experience amped up for scares and a 50-foot-tall drop tower, are also included with admission. However, the park reserves the right to close gates and stop admission if the park reaches capacity.

Admission : $29.99 in September and Sundays in October, $33.99 for Fridays and Saturdays in October, and $44.99 for adult nights, plus $10 parking

Escape from Blood Prison

Highlights : Tour the old reformatory by night, with abundant scares. Add a touch pass, which allows all scare actors to touch you, for a more frightening experience.

Age requirements : For ages 10 and older. Be prepared to show proof of age (birth certificate or school ID) for anyone who looks like they might be younger than 10.

Age recommendations:  "Halloween Haunt is intended for mature audiences and is not recommended for children under 13." Guests younger than 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 years old after 4 p.m., a year-round rule.

Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse

Where : 155 W. Third St., Perrysville

When : Select Fridays and Saturdays, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., through Nov. 4; Sunday, Oct. 22, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Highlights : A 30-minute, 1920s, haunted schoolhouse experience over 3 floors, including an "ominous" basement and an outdoor exhibit featuring "terrifying creatures."

Admission : $24 online, $30 at the door

Age recommendations : Children 12 or younger must be accompanied by an adult, and "do not bring children that cannot capably navigate a haunt by themselves."

Brimstone Haunt

Highlights : The Ohio Renaissance Festival's scary sibling serves up five horrific experiences: a relatively tame Haunted Hayride, a high-intensity Forgotten Forest adventure, a Psychosis maze rated five out of five skulls for creepiness, and zombie attractions, including a Dead Shot paintball shooting gallery where guests attempt to shoot zombies.
