Write an essay on A Dream I Had Last Night.

Last night’s dream was unlike any other, a vivid journey through a surreal world that blended the familiar with the extraordinary. As I closed my eyes, I was transported to a shimmering field under a sky painted in purple and orange hues, leading to a city of glass and light.

In this dreamscape, I encountered Flix, a talking fox with wise eyes, who seemed to know me intimately. He guided me towards the city, discussing life’s enigmas and the hidden magic around us. This city was a utopia, where technology and nature existed in perfect harmony, and the streets buzzed with the energy of joyful, purposeful people.

At the city’s heart was a park, a communal space alive with music, art, and laughter. Here, children danced freely, and adults created and celebrated, embodying a sense of peace and community. Flix pointed out a grand tree at the park’s centre, explaining its symbolism of life’s interconnectedness and the need for harmony between humanity and nature.

The dream took a dramatic turn as a storm darkened the sky, people vanished, and the city started to disintegrate. Flix urged me to find the “Heartstone” beneath the tree, a key to restoring balance. Amidst the chaos, I unearthed a glowing stone, feeling a surge of hope and strength.

With the Heartstone, the city rebuilt itself, emerging more beautiful than before, and the people returned under a clear sky with a magnificent rainbow. Flix’s mission was accomplished, and he left me with a parting message about carrying the dream’s lessons into reality.

Awakening from this dream, I felt enlightened, carrying a new appreciation for life’s beauty and complexity. This dream was more than a mere figment of imagination; it was a lesson in balance, interconnectedness, and the enduring power of hope. Dreams, I realized, are not just random thoughts but windows into our deepest selves, offering insights and guiding us towards a better understanding of our world.

Paragraph on A Dream I Had

Students are often asked to write a paragraph on A Dream I Had in their schools. And if you’re also looking for the same, we have created 100-word, 200-word, and 250-word paragraphs on the topic.

Let’s take a look…

Paragraph on A Dream I Had in 100 Words

Last night, I had a fun dream. I was in a land full of sweets. Big gumdrop trees and chocolate rivers were everywhere. I rode on a fluffy cotton candy cloud. I met friendly jellybean birds and marshmallow bunnies. They talked and played games with me. We had a party with cake and ice cream. It was so much fun! But then, I woke up. It was just a dream, but it made me very happy. I hope I can visit the sweet land in my dreams again. Dreams can be so exciting and full of surprises!

Paragraph on A Dream I Had in 200 Words

Last night, I had a dream where I was a superhero with the power to fly. I could soar high in the sky, above the tall buildings and fluffy clouds. I had a shiny, colorful cape that fluttered in the wind, and I wore a mask to hide my identity. In my dream, I was the protector of my city, helping those in need. I rescued a kitten stuck in a tree, stopped a train from running off its tracks, and even helped an old lady cross a busy street. I could hear people cheering for me and thanking me for my help. The most exciting part was when I flew to the moon! I could see Earth from up there, looking like a beautiful blue marble. I met friendly aliens who gave me moon rocks as gifts. When I woke up, I was in my bed, not in the sky or on the moon. Though it was just a dream, it made me feel happy and brave. I hope to have more dreams like this, where I can fly and help others. Dreams can be fun and exciting, showing us a world of endless possibilities.

Paragraph on A Dream I Had in 250 Words

Last night, I had a fascinating dream that whisked me off to an enchanting world. I found myself in a magical forest, where trees were made of candy and rivers flowed with sweet, sparkling juice. The sky was a bright swirl of pastel colors, and soft music filled the air. Friendly, talking animals greeted me, and I made friends with a rabbit who wore a top hat and a squirrel with a shiny, golden tail. They took me on a journey through the forest, showing me incredible sights like a waterfall of honey and a mountain made of cookies. We even played games together, like hide and seek, and the squirrel would always win because of its quick speed and clever hiding spots. As we explored, we discovered a hidden treasure chest, buried beneath a giant marshmallow tree. With excitement, we opened the chest to find it filled with countless jewels and chocolates. We decided to share the treasure among all the animals in the forest, spreading joy and happiness. Just as we were celebrating, I felt a gentle shake and heard my mom’s voice. I opened my eyes to realize it was all a dream, and I was back in my bedroom. Even though it was just a dream, the memory of that magical forest and my new animal friends brought a smile to my face. The dream was a sweet escape from reality, reminding me of the power of imagination and the joy of friendship.

That’s it! I hope the paragraphs have helped you.

Essay on “A Dream I had Last Night” Complete Essay for Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation and other classes.

A Dream I had Last Night

I the dream I saw that one day I was going to Agra to see the Taj Mahal with my friends. Near the bus stand few people were  selling lottery tickets. Much against the will of my firm I bought a lottery ticket of Haryana government. When it result appeared in Nav Bharat Times I was very anxious to see my number. At once I purchased a newspaper. I first of all began to see the series of lottery number.

All of a sudden my friend’s eyes fell on my number and he told me to see it. My joy knew no bounds when I saw my number and won a lottery of one lakh(Lac). I did the necessary formalities and received the amount. I started thinking how to use the amount for the welfare of the public. I belong to a poor and backward village. There is no primary school so far in this village. So most of the children do  not receive education.

They remain illiterate. So first act of public good which I dreamt was to open a primary school in my village. I dreamt that the school would remove the illiteracy from the village. They would bless me for doing a generous deed. In my village people are generally poor. Some of them have no clothes, even to cover their bodies, in the dream I had made arrangements for the free distribution of blankets and clothes for all the poor and needy people.

I thought to spend the rest of the money on myself. Instead of thinking further. I heard the call from my mother to leave the bed. I woke at the call of my mother. I found myself that I was lying on the bare cot. No change was there in my poor condition.

The essays will be useful in your school event/assignment etc. You can choose any of the following My Dream Essays given below and impress your teacher or evaluator.

My Dream Essay 1 (200 words)

Everyone wants to be successful and rich. I also dream of becoming successful in the field I choose although I am still indecisive about the career path I will choose. But I know whatever I choose I will work hard, stay focused and make it big.

I also dream of doing something for my country. There are so many problems in the country such as poverty, illiteracy and casteism to name a few. Our country was once known for its rich cultural heritage which is all robbed now. The crime rate in the country is at an all time rise and so are various other issues. While there are a lot of loopholes in the India political system that has led to these problems however we cannot blame it all on the government. Each one of us should contribute our bit towards our country’s development. I am a firm supporter of each one teach one and have been teaching my maid’s child since the last two years.

As I grow up, I aim to join an NGO to empower the poor and needy. I dream of eradicating poverty and social inequality from our country and will do my best in this direction. If we all join hands we shall certainly be able to free our country from these evils.

My Dream Essay – 2 (300 words)

It is rightly said, “Miracles start to happen when you give as much energy to your dreams as you do to your fears”. Dreams are essential. It is only when you dream big with all your heart you will be able to achieve big. As students our dream is to achieve good marks, have good friends, get support from the family and make it big in life.

Just like others, I have also nurtured a career dream from an early age. I aspire to become a famous writer and wish to write and publish a novel one day. I have never been very good when it came to verbal communication. It is embedded in my nature. I do not like to be blunt or impolite even when someone says something to me. I choose to remain quite during such situations. It is not that I cannot reply back, as mentioned “I choose” to do so as I am a peace loving person. I am also a bit of an introvert and do not like opening up with everyone. However, it is not good to pent up feelings and emotions as it can lead to stress and drain you emotionally.

I always felt an urge to shout out loud and get rid of these feelings when I was alone and soon figured out that a good way to vent these is through writing. I began writing and found out that I am actually good at it. It is hard for me to communicate my feelings verbally however it is quite easy for me to pen them down. Writing for me has now become a way of life I keep journaling all my feelings and this keeps me sorted. It has become more of a passion for me and I now aspire to turn it into my profession.

Apart from writing bits and pieces about the happenings in my life, I also love writing stories and will soon come up with my own novel. My family is completely supportive about my career dream.

My Dream Essay – 3 (400 words)

Introduction

From a very early age, kids are made to dream about becoming big professionally. They are fed with the importance of making a successful career. Everyone they come across asks them about their aim in life and career becomes the prime focus of most. They set an aim and give their best to achieve the same. While it is of utmost importance to establish oneself professionally, what people forget is that it is equally important to invest time to nurture relationships, health and other aspects of life. So if you can dream about having a rocking career then why not dream of a good relationship and great health too?

Career Goal

Everyone has a career dream. As kids, I also dreamt of becoming a scientist then as I grew I was fascinated by the Bollywood actors and wanted to become an actor however it was only when I completed my 12 th standard that I realised that I had a technical bent of mind and decided to get into engineering. There is no harm in dreaming big however choose your path wisely keeping in mind your potential and other aspects. Don’t set unrealistic career goals.

Health and Fitness Goals

Your health is of utmost importance. It is only when you enjoy good health you shall be able to focus on other things in life. So why just dream of a big car, huge bungalow and a six figure salary, why not dream about enjoying good health as well? Everyone should dream about having good health and work in that direction. It is essential to take out some time from your schedule to indulge in exercise daily. Also make it a point to have wholesome food that includes all the essential micronutrients.

Relationship Goals

Relationships hold a special place in our lives. Be it our parents, spouse, kids, siblings, cousins or friends – each relationship plays a significant role in our life. However, caught in the rat race our relationships often take a back seat. Most people forget about these relationships when they are doing well in life and only realise their need when they require someone to fall back on after failure. It is essential to nurture these relationships by investing time in them. Set relationship goals just as you set career goals and see how abundantly you are showered with love and affection.

Merely having career goals and succeeding professionally can leave you alone after one point in life. It is thus as important to dream of having loving relationships and having fitness goals as it is to dream of succeeding professionally. Work as diligently to achieve these as you do to realise your career dreams.

My Dream Essay – 4 (500 words)

“Create the highest grandest vision possible for your life because you become what you believe”. Yes, your thoughts and dreams have the power of becoming your reality if you believe in them and work diligently to achieve them. Dream of abundance of love, success and money and you shall have them all.

Attract Your Dream Life

Do you know you can actually turn your dreams into reality? It must have happened with you at some point in life? Remember, the day you so wanted to eat those delicious sweets and got back home only to see that your father has brought them for you without you even telling him about your wish? Or your heart went pounding over that beautiful dress and your friend gifted exactly the same dress to you on your next birthday without you having discussed anything about the same with her. What was it? You attracted those things in your life. Yes, you literally did! That is the power of dreams and thoughts and it is backed by the theory of the Law of Attraction.

The theory states that whatever we think and dream of, we can bring it into our life. Our dominant thoughts become our reality and the universe helps us to achieve the same. As Paulo Coelho said, “When your heart truly desires something, the whole universe conspires to help you achieve that thing, simply because it is a desire that originated from the soul of the world”.

The law of attraction said to work as accurately as the law of gravitation. It said that whatever dreams and aspirations we feed in our subconscious mind come true. People often question the authenticity of this theory stating that if only dreaming could turn them into millionaires and attract all the happiness in life then everyone would be rich and happy.

However, this is the catch! The subconscious mind does not understand the difference between the positive and the negative. It treats both the positive and the negative in the same way. If you dream of success, power and love it would pull the same in your life. Likewise, if you doubt your dreams and aspirations, fear dreaming big and dwell on negativity that is what you will attract in life. And this is where most people fall short. Most people dream big but doubt their calibre. They want to attain big heights what feel that they are just ordinary people and cannot get there and their belief that they are ordinary actually turns into their reality.

Always remember, in order to attain your dreams you must believe in them and have complete faith in yourself.

When was the last time someone told you to stop dreaming and start working? The next time someone says so tell them the power of dreaming now that you have this theory to back your answer. However, having said that, merely dreaming would not help, you must also work hard to attain your dreams simultaneously. So keep dreaming, believe in yourself and put in as much effort to realise your dreams.

My Dream Essay – 5 (600 words)

Dreams play a vital role in shaping our future. It is rightly said, “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it”. So if you have a dream then set it up as your goal and work hard towards achieving it. Though it easier said than done however if you are really hard pressed towards achieving it you shall definitely able to make it.

Take One Step at a Time

You may have a big dream in life however in order to attain the same you must set both short term and long term goals and take small and steady steps. Taking one step at a time always helps rather than rushing into it all at once. For instance, my dream is to become a fashion designer and I know that it would only be possible if I complete a course in Fashion Designing from a reputed institute and there is nothing much that I can do to speed up the attainment of my dream right now when I am still schooling.

However, this does not dither me from following fashion blogs and websites to explore the world of fashion. By doing so I am taking the little steps I can to achieve my dream. While my ultimate goal is to become an established Fashion Designer, I have set various small goals for the months and years to come so that these take me to my ultimate goal.

Stay Motivated to Attain Your Dream

One of the main hindrances in achieving the dreams and goals is lack of motivation. Many people give up on their dreams as they get tired mid way. It is essential to stay motivated and stop only when you have achieved your dream. Here are a few tips to keep you motivated:

  • Remind Yourself of Your Ultimate Goal

If ever you see yourself running out of energy and get too tired to follow the set goals it is time to remind yourself of your ultimate goal and the joy and pride you will experience as you achieve it. This is like pressing the reset button to begin with a fresh mind once again.

  • Reward Yourself

As you set short term goals, also keep a reward for each milestone you achieve. The reward can be anything from buying yourself a dress or visiting your favourite café or going out with friends. This is a good way to stay motivated towards achieving your goals.

  • Take Some Time Off

Too much work and no play can make you rather dull and hamper your productivity which in turn can de-motivate you. It is thus a good idea to take some time off every now and then to indulge in something you love. Ideally you must squeeze in half an hour from your schedule each day to indulge in your favourite sport.

  • Surround Yourself with Positive People

Surrounding yourself with people who believe in your dreams and inspire you to work hard to attain the same is a good way to stay motivated.

  • Learn From Your Mistakes

Rather than getting disheartened and giving up on your dreams when you make a mistake and face tough time, it suggested to learn from your mistakes and let them make you stronger.

As you dream and set goals, it is essential to put a plan in place and work according to it to move in the right direction. Preparing a plan and getting organized are the initial steps towards attaining your dream. Dream big and overcome every obstacle to achieve the same!

Children have exciting dreams about their future! With vivid imagination and creativity, their thoughts and ideas about the future are unique and interesting to hear.

Penning them down on paper, however, is a whole different skill. Children may find it a bit challenging to express their creative ideas in words.

When asked to write an essay on this topic, your child will be introduced to the skill of creative writing. The exercise will improve their cognition and develop their imagination. As your child expresses their ideas on paper in simple and correct sentences, they develop a foundation of English grammar. For this essay, children reflect upon their goals in life. They will have to write about what they want to be in future and justify it with reasons. They will also have to think about how to achieve their goal and write about it in their essay. Let us help you guide your little one to write a wonderful essay for classes 1, 2 and 3.

When your child starts to write a paragraph on my dream, they need to remember some important points. Let us guide your child stepwise to write a beautiful essay on their vision in life in simple language:

  • Start by forming ideas in their mind and decide what they want to write on the topic.
  • Ask your little one to pen down the key points and create an outline. Make sure they don’t miss any of the points.
  • Next, guide your child to form easily readable sentences from their outline.
  • Make sure they don’t get too descriptive about a single idea and maintain the word count.
  • Guide your child to write naturally and with the flow, and enjoy writing the composition.
  • Your child can write about their dream, their reasons for it, how they want to achieve it, etc.

Children are encouraged to think about their goals, aims and dreams in lower primary classes. They will find it easy to write an essay on their dream in a few simple lines. Here is an example of an essay on ‘My Dream’ in 10 lines:

  • Everyone has a dream for their future.
  • My dream is to get some land and build a shelter for animals.
  • I love animals and feel sad when I see them helpless.
  • My other goal is to become a successful businessman like my father.
  • He works hard throughout the day to excel in his work.
  • Even if I become busy, I want to spend enough time with my family and friends.
  • I know I have to work hard to achieve my dreams.
  • I will have to study hard and learn lots of skills.
  • I will stay motivated and always be confident.
  • I will stay honest throughout my journey to achieve my dream.

Dreams will form an essential part of your child’s life. Let us help your child write a composition on their dream in simple language:

Everyone has a dream in their life. They have goals for what they want to become when they grow up. I want to be a successful business person. I want to buy some land and build a shelter for all the helpless animals I come across. I want to be healthy and fit. I also have a very important goal of spending enough time with all those who mean a lot to me. To reach my goal, I have to work every day towards it. I have to study hard, learn from everyone and be honest and hardworking. I also need to stay determined and motivated in any situation. I have to progress towards my goal slowly. I am confident that when I grow up, I will fulfil all my dreams.

Dreams form an important part of each one’s life. As children grow, they observe the world around them and get a better understanding of life. Students of class 3 are expected to write a detailed essay on their dream, describing why they aim for it and how they plan to achieve it. Here is an example of an essay on ‘My Dream’ for students of class 3:

People have two kinds of dreams. One kind of dream is what we see when we are asleep. We often forget these dreams once we wake up. The other kind of dream is the one we think about constantly when we are awake. These are our goals in life and the ambitions we have. We hold these close to our hearts. Everyone has a dream in their life. I have few dreams in my life. I want to earn enough to get some land and build a shelter over there. This shelter will be a blessing for many stray animals. I love animals and can’t see them in pain. My family also cares a lot for animals. We have a rescued dog named Lucky, who became part of our family two years ago. She was a tiny pup that was suffering on the streets. Now she is staying with us and is playful, happy and healthy. She has become my best friend. I want to build a home for the pups out there that don’t have a home and suffer on the streets. The animals will also get treatment there.

I have another dream for my future. I want to become an extremely successful business person, like my father. My father works hard throughout the day to expand his business. I also want to work hard, but at the same time, I want to make sure that I get enough time to spend with those who are important in my life!

To achieve anything in life, we need to be healthy and fit. That’s why my other dream is to have a healthy body and a healthy mind. Without good health, there isn’t much to enjoy! To stay fit, I will eat healthy foods and exercise regularly. I will also implement positive thinking for staying mentally fit and happy.

When I become successful, I would like to share my blessings with all those in need. I want to set up an organisation to help poor people. I will help them by giving them food, clothing, and medicines. We will provide them with warm clothes and blankets in winter.

I will walk towards my goals slowly and steadily. One step at a time, I will fulfil my dreams. It is also important to stay determined. Sometimes it may seem difficult and there may be setbacks, but I will stay motivated.

Another important value to achieve a goal is discipline. I will work towards my aim with discipline and dedication every day.

When your child writes an essay on their dream, they will see the importance of reflecting upon their goals. Having goals is important in life, and they give us the direction to move forward. Thinking about the goals also helps your child choose what is important to them from a tender age. The act of writing develops your child’s creative skills and expands their thought process, improving their vocabulary.

We hope the above examples will help your child write a beautiful composition on their dream. Your little one can write about what they want to become in life, and they can expand their thinking and decide what is important to them. They can pick points from the above essays and include them in their composition. We have made sure to keep the language of these essays simple so that it is easy for your little one to understand.

Every night I dream of living a life of a celebrity. In my dream I see myself dressed up like a model posing for cameras. It is my dream to work in the film industry and become famous. But, for that, I will have to work really hard. My mother always tells me to concentrate on studies and live up to the dream of becoming a model. My father also supports me and he says that he believes in me. Once he told me that I should help others and be in good books of the people to win their heart as it will help me make my dream come true.

Every day I like to take some time aside from my responsibilities to think about my dreams and all the goals I want to achieve. My dream is to become a successful businessman. Only having a dream won’t help, I also need to work towards the achievement of my dream. As doing business is not as easy as it seems, first I need to understand the basics of what business actually is. This will the first step towards my dream. Introduction:

My dream to become a Soldier started on an Army Day (January 15th), when I was still in High School. I witnessed the tribute paid to martyred soldiers at the Amar Jawan Jyoti in India Gate. It was followed by parades displaying Tanks, Missiles, and War Helicopters etc. The impression I received that day motivates me to realise my dream to become a Soldier.

Love of a Soldier:

The history of Indian independence and the life of freedom fighters has always fascinated me. Those who were responsible for the air of freedom we breathe today, loved our motherland and dedicated their lives to its well-being. These seeds in me have developed a sense of love for the country. It has also nurtured my dream to become a soldier and safeguard it.

Spirit of a Soldier:

Apart from academics, I started to collect all details about how to realise my dream to become a Soldier. I began to understand the values that inspire a Soldier to willingly face challenges and responsibly safeguard the nation even at the cost of his own life. This inspired me to study well and keep myself fit to achieve my dream to become a Soldier.

Training of a Soldier:

I also understood about the training before service. The feeling of pride and mutual loyalty is imbibed among the trainees. They are also trained to willing sacrifice for the country’s honour, with a do or die spirit. A sense of fearlessness, fairness and honesty are inculcated during the disciplined training. These components further kindled my dream to become a Soldier.

Lifestyle of a Soldier:

On the one hand, the soldier’s life is a life of self-sacrifice. On the other hand, the lifestyle it offers far exceeds my expectation, and fuels my dream to become a Soldier. Opportunities to advance in ranks, paid study holidays, subsidized housing, free medical coverage and recreational facilities are provided, apart from regular salary and perks. Lifelong pension is awarded after retirement.

Conclusion:

Many young people in the country offer the time of their life to work for big Corporates. But, I am here to pursue my dream to become a Soldier and dedicate my life to the welfare of the nation. I often encourage my friends to follow my dream to become a Soldier, at least for a short service tenure ranging from 10 to 14 years.

At a very early age, my dream was to do something big in life. But along with that I still had some fears also. I want to have a successful career, and for this, I had set an aim. It is quite essential for everybody to get them to establish professionally and successfully. Besides this, few other dreams are also necessary for me like health, relationships, and many different aspects of life. However, I also fear to get fail in achieving all these targets.

Career Dream and Fear:

When I was a kid, my dream was to become a doctor. But during my growing age, the Bollywood industry fascinated me and then my dream of becoming doctor changed to an actor. When I passed my class 12 th , the only goal that hit my mind was becoming an engineer. I always fear of dreaming about big things, but if you have potential then, you can achieve anything in life.

Dream and Fear of Health and Fitness:

When I was young, I was not so much concerned about my health. But now I realized the importance of having good health. My dream of becoming fit and healthy was only achieved due to strong willpower and eagerness of doing regular exercise. With this thought, I managed to lose around 15 kg easily. Now, I don’t fear about eating any food as I compensate that with my daily workout.

Dreams and fear about the relationship:

There is a special place of relationships in my life, and sometimes I fear about losing the important people in my life. But, now I realize that instead of thinking negative, we should try to spend more time with the people. It is as essential as my dream of good career.

Thinking only about the career and success with the little amount of fear might not offer you complete happiness later. It is good to become serious about your career, but you should also try to overcome any fear for a more successful life ahead.

Life is a dynamic process that has its ups and downs. Juggling the disparities of life can be very stressful at times and that is why you get your mind wondering in thoughts. Most thoughts are usually based on what people desire, which we call the dream life. The desires in life may not always be achieved but it is good to have a picture or at least an idea of the kind of life on desires to have. In America, people have the American dream but you as an individual should ask yourself; what is your dream life?

How my dream life looks like:

Socially, I have always imagined myself being a very influential person in my society. Currently in school, I always have the urge to influence someone but I still lack the confidence and resources to do so. I have always wanted to travel the world and explore different cultures of the world through interactions with people. I also imagine of having a great family with whom I can travel the world with.

Career-wise, I want to work at the comfort of my own home and be flexible so that I can always have time for my family. Spiritually, I have a desire to always be in good terms with God and follow the doctrines of my religion.

Economically, I want to be self-actualized at an early age so that I can focus on my influential personality, having all the resources I need. I want to be satisfied with what I will have achieved and work on living a happy life.

How I plan on living my dream life?

Living the dream life can begin any time that you chose to be as an individual. For my dream life, the things that I can achieve while still at school is the ability to have a spiritual wellness and flowing the doctrines of my religion. I can also start learning to appreciate whatever I have and living a happy life.

For the desires that I cannot achieve at the moment, I will work towards achieving them by shaping and redirecting the pathway. For example, my career, I will pursue something in the university that will allow me to work from home without necessarily going to work.

A dream life is basically the desired of one’s heart inform of an imagination. A dream life does not affect the reality in any way.

A dream is something that helps you to mold your future and aim your life to an appropriate goal. Dreaming big will help us to work for it harder and finally achieve it. Without desire and aim in life, we cannot focus and work hard to fulfill our dream.

My Dream to become a Doctor:

The biggest dream of my life is to become a doctor. I have seen many doctors, who save other people’s lives and they feel happy in the satisfaction they get through this activity. I want to be a doctor, who will serve good for this society and help poor to get good medical care without expecting big money in return.

Doctors are respected in all places and among all types of society. In spite of being different in many things like wealth, religion, etc., everyone will be in need of the best doctor to treat them honestly. I dream of being one such doctor to whom anyone can come without any doubt and fear of being tricked.

I don’t want to be a doctor who just works for money. I want to help others who can’t afford big budget treatments and choose their fate due to their lack of money. When a person is cured of their illness, the smile that appears on their face will be the greatest reward I will ever get. My dream is to become a doctor, who is praised for the kindness and get rewards through others blessings.

How to become a Doctor?

To get the admissions in a medical seat is not that easy. But I will work hard and crack the competitive exam to get a merit seat in the college. I will work hard from the beginning to end to improve my knowledge and keep updated about every upcoming and ongoing development.

I would like to choose the specialization when I can actually decide which one will suit my desire. I have an aim to serve the people in their needs and once I grow big enough to decide the correct career to fulfill my dream, I will work harder to achieve that as well.

After achieving My Dream:

Once I complete my whole medical courses I would be looking to practice in a well-reputed hospital to perfect my job. With this perfection I will start my own clinic and serve people for the rest of my life along with this I will help other students also to get trained to become a good doctor. I will make sure that my dream will come true at the best time.

We all have some sort of ambition or dream. My dream is to become a world class chef. Dreams play a very important role in moulding our future. There is a saying that “if you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it”. This saying implies that if you can work hard and put in your best to achieving your dream, it is very possible to live your dream. Working hard to achieve ones dream is easier said than done but if you put in your best effort and never give up, dreams are achievable.

In the path of achieving my dream, it is important that I take one step at a time. Even if I have a very big dream of becoming a word class chef, it is best for me to take steady and small steps by setting both long term and short term goals, by doing this, I am always working towards achieving my dream. When I take one step at a time, it helps not to rush into decisions and take things easy.

I know becoming a world class chef is not very easy and can only happen if complete and proper training from a very reputable institute and there isn’t much I can do at the moment to speed up the realisation of my dream since I am still in school. However, I still do my best to set my dream rolling, I follow a lot of cooking websites and blogs, watch cooking shows, read culinary books and I practice my cooking to sharpen my skills every time. These are all little steps I am taking towards achieving my dream. Though my goal is to become a world class chef, I have small goals in place for each month and year to come so that I can reach my dream.

A major hindrance to achieving my set goals and my dream is the lack of inadequacy of motivation. A lot of people have given up their goals and dreams just because they got tired on the way. It is extremely important to remain motivated and only stop is when the dream has been achieved. Highlighted below are some useful tips that I have used to keep myself motivated on the journey to reaching my dream:

i. Anytime I see that I am running out of drive and energy and I am becoming too tired to stick to my set goals, I try to remind myself of what my dream is and the feeling of pride and joy I will experience when I achieve it and become a world class chef. It feels like pressing a reset button and starting with a refreshed mind again and working harder towards achieving my dream.

ii. Long term goals and short term goals are set towards the ultimate goal of achieving my dream and as I reach these short term goals, I try to reward myself for my achievement. The reward can vary from eating dinner at my favourite restaurant or buying myself a new phone I wanted or going out with my friends. Rewarding myself is a very good way to remain motivated towards the achievements of my goals and ultimately my dream.

iii. When I work too much and have no time to relax and play, my productivity drops and I become dull. Therefore, it is a good idea to have some time for myself away from work to focus on something fun that I love. I find time in my schedule every day to engage in some form of leisure activity or sport.

iv. Having people who believes in my dream and support my goals around me makes all the difference. Having positive people helps me find the strength and courage to push on and not give up on my dream. They motivate me to work hard and do the best to achieve my goals and my dream.

v. A mistake is nothing more than an experience and an opportunity to try again and do things much better. So, instead of getting heartbroken and disheartened to the point of wanting to give up on my goals and dream when I face a tough time or make mistakes, I learn from the mistakes and move on as the tough times and mistakes make me a lot stronger.

I will keep working hard towards achieving my dream and I believe that I will become a world class chef one day.

Who in this world does not have a dream? A dream to buy a car, a dream to be a scientist, a dream to do something for the society, or just a dream to live a life with contentment. Something or the other, but surely every person has a dream. It is this dream that drives you to work hard, achieve your milestones and ride towards success in your life. Success need not be becoming the wealthiest person on the earth. Achieving even your smallest dream can be a huge success for you. Since childhood, you come across various fields which often you think of as your ultimate targets. However, most of them are just fantasies and fade away with time. Still, there are some things which just stick on to your minds and these very things eventually go on to be your dreams.

My Dream – My Passion:

Like others, even I have a dream. My dream is to join the intelligence unit of the country and serve my country with pride. Usually, in order to serve the country, people think of joining the armed forces. However, I have a different point of view. I dream to join the intelligence unit and provide inputs to these armed forces so that they can protect the country in a good way and not many lives are lost fight battles with our neighbours.

Where did it all start?

Since my childhood, I have been fascinated by the role of intelligence and the methods of work they are used to. I had got a chance to be with a couple of people early in my life who were in the same field and it is from here that I got so much stuck up with this profession that I have dreamt day and night to be a part of this elite team. Moreover, I feel that I have it in me to research about things as well as people and am known in my circles to extract information from nowhere. I feel that this talent of mine can prove helpful for the country as well. Intelligence plays a crucial role in the security establishment of the country. The inputs gathered from intelligence units help the government and the forces to plan their steps both at diplomatic and at the level of securing the borders.

Another thing which excites me about this dream is that it is not a conventional field such as common occupations which are sought after by most of the youth of our country. Another very important thing to mention here that you need not formally join the intelligence to realise this dream. By keeping a check on your surroundings and providing proper information to the police in case you notice an unfavourable incident is also a form of your contribution to the security agencies of the country. If everyone remains active, a lot many incidents such as terrorist attacks can be averted.

Why having a dream is so important?

Dreams are very important for everyone. Without dreams, there will be no desire to pursue. There will be no objective to reach. We will all be nothing without dreams. Not having dreams resembles pursuing a traceless homicide. It resembles following an undetectable shadow. It is a loathsome goose pursue. We should comprehend what we need to do and pursue that desire.

A great many people have dreams. Successful ones or little ones. Indeed, even the best individuals had dreams and that is the thing that has made them what they are today. Envisioning is basic for a person. Without dreams, you will lose enthusiasm forever lastly prefer not to live. You will be exhausted and tired of the equivalent dull schedules of your everyday life and won’t discover an enthusiasm for the most energizing things. Just with dreams, will you discover a reason to carry on with your life? You will begin buckling down towards the fantasy and will never lose enthusiasm forever. You will never tire and dependably be spurred. This is the most ideal approach to end up effective. So, dream and dream big. It is the only way to achieve contentment in life.

Be that as it may, with dreams, comes extraordinary duty. It is not just sufficient to dream and disregard that fantasy. Numerous individuals dream, however just some wake up and work for it.

It is basic to buckle down for your fantasies. Without this diligent work, a fantasy will just remain a craving in the subliminal personality and will never be accomplished.

On the off chance that you don’t have a fantasy, you can never appreciate the extravagances of life or all that life brings to the table. You will never feel that delighted sentiment of accomplishment. You will never get pride in what you do and what you have accomplished. Every one of these things is vital for people and without these emotions, there is no inspiration.

In the event that you don’t have inspiration, you will be a disappointment throughout everyday life. You won’t have the capacity to accomplish those objectives and will have a hopeless existence. You will never appreciate the extravagances of life and you will never feel glad. You will be a disappointment and you will be nothing throughout everyday life. We should go that additional mile to achieve our objectives. Disappointments may come, however a state of mind to continue proceeding onward and attempting to enhance is completely accomplished by dreams. Dreams are the fuel that continues invigorating you to go further. Regardless of whether there are numerous snags throughout everyday life, you will, in general, continue moving further and attempting to be superior to anything your identity. Consistent and endless enhancement is extremely imperative in advancing throughout everyday life. It improves your identity and furthermore whatever you need to advance in. It causes you to gain from your missteps

Only having career objectives and succeeding professionally can disregard you after one point throughout everyday life. Work as constantly to accomplish these as you do to understand your ultimate dreams. Having a dream is not important. What is important is striving continuously to achieving it. The sense of satisfaction you acquire once you have attained your goals cannot be explained in words and has no alternative in life. So, strive hard and live your dreams. Who knows, what is there in store for you?

Essay on My Dream

Dreams play a significant role in our life as they give us the courage to achieve something in life. Dreams do come true once you start working on them. We usually have different dreams at different phases of life for instance, as a student, we dream of getting good marks or winning some competition, as an adult we wish to acquire a good job and hence at every stage of life we dream differently. However, there’s one overarching dream which we always wanted to accomplish and mine is to become a famous author one day.

Everybody has some sort of career dream in their life which they wanted to achieve to become successful and satisfied in life. Well, my dream is to become a world-famous writer and to publish a book written by me. Writing is entrenched in my personality as I am a peace-loving person and always choose to write down my feelings rather than speaking up.

It is not that I cannot answer anyone but I don’t like to be blunt and don’t like to open up to people easily. So, my personality made me a good writer and I started writing my feelings and emotions in a diary when I was in class 4. Since then I developed a taste for writing and then joined a multi-national company as an associate consultant in content writing.

Writing down feelings relieves so much stress and takes away all the heaviness in your heart. Whenever I feel low and depressed, I start writing and gradually writing became my passion. Although I have achieved many accolades in the writing profession, still I am not satisfied with my present position. I want to write a book related to self-help or a fiction story, soon I will come up with some or other kind of book and will fulfil my dream of becoming a famous writer.

Short Essay – 300 Words

Introduction

Tonight when I was asleep, I had a very strange dream. I don’t know what exact things were but I remember much of the details. It however haunted me but I tried to cope up with it. Some of the characters in the dream are not even known to me. The dream was so strange that I woke up immediately.

The Strange Dream

It might be around 3 AM in the night when I suddenly woke up and was trying to figure out what actually happened with me. It was a silent and a dark place where I was there went with my two friends Rahul and Arun. We saw a broken car which was shaking continuously, we decided to go there. When we went there, there were smells that was making the place so weird and uncomfortable to go. We still went and suddenly we saw a big creature running away from the car. We were horrified. We decided to go back by running on the way back to home while running the same creature came with a speed and attacked us and I woke up.

Effects of my Strange Dream

I was terrified as the creature was unknown and was horrible. I woke up with suddenness and had a glass of water. The dream was so strange that I didn’t want to stay alone even in the daylight. I couldn’t sleep for weeks with lights of in my room for weeks. I used to think twice before going to some places in night. It created a place in mind for a while.

I was in immense fear and sometimes I slept with my mother father. To overcome the fear I started chanting Hanuman Chalisa and started doing meditation so that I can feel positive. Although, I have overcome with the fear but in some cases whenever I remember that night I get goose bumps.

Some dreams are strange and suspicious which can totally take place in anyone’s brain which can affect anyone in many ways. Here is a story of mine where I had a very strange dream. I have mentioned this as an essay with numerous points telling different aspects of a strange dream that I had in my past. I hope you to take this as a positive message because negative things can stay long but positives take time.

Back in 2015, it was summer holidays of class 10 th . We were at my mom’s uncle’s house. It is situated beside a big farm or we can say field. We always used to go to the farm because it was a lusty green farm and was so clean. We even used to play cricket in that farm. As it was summer, all the gents were used to sleep in the open area of the house or we can say the gallery or veranda. I was sleeping on my bed and soon after midnight we started feeling cold and the weather automatically changed. We were having thin blankets which we used. Since it was a rural area, the visibility is very low at night and at that time, the rural areas were not getting sufficient amount of light.

I was having a great sleep as I played whole day and was tired a lot. I had a problem of waking up with a mere movement and my cousin brother Rohan who was sleeping beside me was having problem of speaking in dreams. To deal with this I got away from him and chose a place away from everyone. In the middle of night I saw some scenes that horrified me and made me wake up.

What was the dream?

By the time I was in deep sleep I experienced something uneven. I was automatically going away from everyone. It was like someone is sliding me towards itself. I am shouting but no one is able to listen. Suddenly the sliding stopped and I reached to a house where everything was white and the house was big. The house was some touch of my own home in city but it was big and had a lot of rooms. I went in and tried to explore the house. When I entered the house I saw some beautiful ancient things which can fascinate any historian. They had some weapons used in the world War and war against the Britishers. Later I moved to a room where I saw Sameer who was saying asking me to close the door. I don’t know what he was doing there.

Then when I moved to other room I was happy as I saw my father who was sitting on a chair and reading his favorite book. I was happy as I saw him after 2 weeks. He asked about my health and told me to focus on studies as boards are coming. He then told me to move to the kitchen to have some food.

When I moved to kitchen, I met a house care taker Bhaiyalal. I asked him about his health and he gave me my food. He then warned me not to go to the room at the last. I asked him why I shouldn’t go there, he then said you just don’t need to do go there. I said ok and moved ahead. I was so mischievous that I decided to go to that room and I saw that the room was dark and was not looking welcoming. I still went in, turned out my mobile phone’s flash and found out that the room was not cleaned for ages.

There were things broken and rodents made home there. I then discovered a carton which was filled of books and had a lot of dust which I removed. I opened a book which had some unexplained drawings which I couldn’t figure out. Soon I opened the last page I didn’t know what happened and I woke up immediately. The place I was sleeping was started feeling uncomfortable, I was a bit afraid, I woke up my brother, told him about everything and he stood awake with me to heal me. Later, we both slept.

After Effects of the dream

The dream had its effects for a while which had problems of making me think about the house continuously. I was trying to figure out who was Bhaiyalal and why Sameer was there and what had the book. Also, I was not able to go to that place where I changed to sleep. I even felt uncomfortable while being alone. I believe that it was a nightmare that haunted me.

The dream also led me think a lot, probably thinking issues. These thinking issues led me to a state of mind where I reached sleep paralysis. In sleep paralysis I was not able to move my body for a while and even can’t speak. It felt like someone is there in my room and is staring at. These situations didn’t harm my body but was affecting me mentally and it occurred at a regular intervals.

Even, I stopped going to play in the farm for some days. However, I remember very less about the dream in the morning but the scenes that always bothered are still in my head which still sometimes affect me. I was not able to have good sleep resulting in the situation where I couldn’t sleep for couple of days until I firmly decided to overcome the fear.

How did I cope up?

The fear was not able to make do alt of things. I also watched some horror movies earlier and every time I go to sleep or sit alone I immediately connect it with that dream and made me think about the dream. Then I decided to move further and get rid of this. I started to go to nearest temple once a week and started worshipping god. Also, I changed my routine to wake up early so that I can do mediation.

To take the thoughts away from the dream I focused on my sweet memories and goods that happened to me and what are my plans for future. Whenever, we clean something it leaves a lot of stain, same happened in my case during the time of healing and intoxications, I was having sleep paralysis for about thrice a month. This series of event conducted for 3 months until I overcome the issues. I build up concentration which later led me to overcome my fear within a month and I was happy with that. I still follow the routine as it makes me feel positive.

Some dreams are horrifying and it is also common that people get involved in the dream a lot. A movie called nightmare of the Elm Street is based on this issue which can terrify anyone. It is important to keep concentrating on our work and all I can conclude is having meditated body and positive vibes can make you feel good and make you overcome fears. These strange dreams can be devastating so we should make a positive aura around us so that no negative thoughts can harm us at any point.

My Last Night Dream

  • Aaron Gade, Grade 2

My Last Night Dream It was a cold and clear night and the stars were twinkling brightly above. My mum was reading the Ben 10 Omniverse bed time story book and I started falling asleep. I think it should be around midnight I was dreaming about something. The dream was so cool. I saw the houses in my street were made out of apples and chocolates which I love them so much. My friends were riding jet skies on the road instead of their bicycles. The cool thing is, my dad was riding a green coloured jet ski to go to work. I cannot see anyone using cars or motorbikes. I was so excited to see that, I was having a lion and a tiger as my pets. I was taking my pets for walking to the nearby park. While I was there, I saw a rainbow at the end of the park .I drove my jet ski and went inside the rainbow .When I got inside, there was a big monster. I fought with him and got a very big treasure box which had variety of chocolates. I ate some of them and took lot for mum and dad. Whenever I felt hungry I ate as many apples and chocolates I want without asking any permission from my mum. There was no school or any homework to do. I was playing and eating, that’s all I did. In the middle of my dream, I heard my mum was calling me to get up from bed. I did not want to get up because I was happily dreaming. After that I woke up and got ready to school and ate the same breakfast, bread and jam. Dad took me to school in our very old car and I was thinking how cool it would be if my dream comes true. I told my friends about the last night dream. They said I am going crazy. It’s O.K. But I LOVE IT.

Everyone has a dream in his life which they want to achieve when they grow up. Some kids want to become rich so that they can buy anything and some want to be a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. But only you know that for achieving these goals you have to work hard and stay attentive to it. In this essay on my dream, we are going to discuss the basic things that will help in achieving my dream .

Essay on My Dream

Determination

For turning a dream into reality the first thing that you need is determination. This will help you in a lot of ways. Firstly, it will help you decide the course of action for doing anything. Besides, it will also help you to plan the journey ahead. Also, it will help to take things slow and maintain a steady pace towards the dream.

Moreover, no matter how big my dream planning and setting short term goals will always help. This is important because rushing to your dream will not going to help you in any way. Besides, there is some dream that requires time and they follow a process without following it you cannot achieve that dream.

Staying Motivated

Lack of motivation is one of the main causes that force a person to leave his dream behind. So, staying motivated is also part of the goal. And if you can’t stay positive then you won’t be able to achieve the dream. There are many people out there that quit the journey of their dreams mid-way because they lack motivation .

Keep Remembering Goal

For completing the dream you have to keep your dream in the mind. And remind this dream to yourself daily. There come hard times when you feel like quitting at those times just remember the goal it helps you stay positive . And if you feel like you messed up big times then start over with a fresh mind.

Reward Yourself

You don’t need to cover milestones to reward yourself. Set a small target towards your dream and on fulfilling them reward yourself . These rewards can be anything from toffee to your favorite thing. Besides, this is a good way of self-motivation.

Take Some Breaks

Working towards your goal not mean that you work day and night without stopping. Apart from that, due to continuous efforts, people soon start to become de-motivated. So, taking a break will help your body and mind. For doing so, take a break in between your schedule for some time an engage yourself in other activities.

Stay Among Positive People

Your company affects you in a lot of ways than you can imagine. So, be with people who appreciate you and stay away from people who distract and criticize you.

Don’t Hesitate to Make Mistakes

To sum it up, we can say that dreaming of a goal is far easier than achieving it. And for fulfilling your dream you need a lot of things and also have to sacrifice many things.

Above all, for fulfilling your dream plan and work according to it because it will lead you to the right path. And never forget to dream big because they help in overcoming every obstacle in life.

There were blood and signs of pain all around the area. Then suddenly I saw a hooded figure approaching me! I got scared and started running in the dream. For how long that phase went on I don’t know. I remember precisely when I felt the touch of that hooded figure on my shoulder! When I woke up from sleep, I was completely devastated. Thanks to the mother who has woken me up! How much I got scared of it even after waking up, I can’t explain.

I remember it was a sea. I saw that when I went swimming in the waves of the sea, my parents were drowning close to my eyes. Diary Entry Writing: Horrible Dream

A horrible dream can be a jarring experience that lingers in your mind long after you’ve awoken. Writing about such a dream in a diary can be a cathartic way to process and understand the emotions it stirred. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to craft a diary entry about a nightmare that’s shaken you.

Table of Contents

Step 1: Create a Relaxing Environment

Before you begin writing, create a calming atmosphere to counter any residual anxiety from the dream. This could involve lighting a candle, playing soft music, or taking deep breaths to center yourself.

Step 2: Note the Date and Time

Start your entry with the current date and time, especially if you’re writing immediately after waking. This helps contextualize the dream and can be useful if you’re tracking sleep patterns or recurring nightmares.

“March 22, 2025, 3:45 AM – Just jolted awake from a terrifying dream.”

Step 3: Recall the Dream in Detail

While the memory is fresh, jot down as many specifics about the dream as you can remember. Details may include the setting, characters, sounds, colors, and the sequence of events.

“I was in an endless, dimly lit corridor, the walls pulsing with a strange, dark energy. Echoes of a disjointed melody played in the background as shadowy figures loomed in the distance.”

Step 4: Describe Your Emotional Response

Articulate how the dream made you feel, not just during the dream but also upon waking. Were you frightened, anxious, or even curious about what the dream might mean?

“My heart was racing, and a sense of dread filled me, both within the dream and as I woke. The fear was visceral, a cold shiver that ran down my spine.”

Step 5: Analyze the Dream Elements

Reflect on the elements of the dream and what they might represent. Consider the symbolism of the settings, characters, and objects you encountered.

“The endless corridor could symbolize a journey or a situation in my life that feels inescapable. The shadowy figures might represent unknown elements of my subconscious or fears I have yet to confront.”

Step 6: Connect to Real Life

Consider any real-life events or stresses that could be influencing your dreams. Writing this down can help you make connections between your waking life and the dream world.

“The anxiety in my dream could be a reflection of the stress I’m feeling about my upcoming job interview, and the corridor might signify the ‘path’ to my future career that feels both long and daunting.”

Step 7: Write Down How You Calmed Yourself

Describe the steps you took to calm down after waking up. This can be useful if you experience another nightmare in the future.

“To calm down, I focused on my breathing and visualized a peaceful place, the quiet beach I visited last summer. Slowly, the tightness in my chest eased.”

Step 8: Reflect on the Dream’s Impact

Reflect on how the dream has affected your mood or outlook for the day. Writing this down can help you manage any lingering effects the nightmare might have.

“I feel a residual unease, but writing this down has helped. I’m hoping that by understanding the dream, I can move past it and not let it cloud my day.”

Step 9: Consider Possible Solutions or Actions

If the dream points to underlying issues or fears, consider actions you might take to address them. This could involve speaking to a therapist, meditation, or other stress-reduction techniques.

“I might try some mindfulness exercises before bed to ease my anxiety, or perhaps journal more regularly to work through my stressors.”

Step 10: Close with a Positive Note

End your entry on a positive note to help shift your mindset away from the nightmare. Affirmations, plans for the day, or a gratitude list can all be helpful.

“Despite the night’s unrest, I am grateful for the comfort of my bed and the safety of my home. Today, I’ll focus on the positive and not let the shadows of my dreams linger.”

Formatting Tips

  • Write in Present Tense : If you’re writing immediately after the dream, use the present tense to capture the immediacy of your emotions.
  • Privacy : Remember, your diary is a private space. Be as open and honest as you can be with your feelings.
  • Use Bullet Points : If it’s easier, list elements of the dream in bullet points before expanding into full narrative sentences.
  • Sketches : If you’re artistically inclined, sketching scenes from your dream can be another way to process your feelings.

Diary Entry Horrible Dream Example #1

Dear Diary,

I just had the most terrifying dream I’ve ever experienced and I can’t shake it off. It felt so real and vivid, and it’s left me feeling shaken and unsettled.

In the dream, I was walking alone in a dark and deserted street, and suddenly I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around and saw a shadowy figure following me, and my heart started racing with fear. I tried to run, but my legs felt heavy and I couldn’t move fast enough. The figure kept getting closer and closer, until I could feel its cold breath on my neck.

I turned around to face it, but all I could see was a pair of glowing red eyes staring back at me. I screamed, but no one seemed to hear me. The figure lunged at me and I woke up, drenched in sweat and gasping for air.

I know it was just a dream, but it felt so real and vivid that I can’t shake off the feeling of fear and unease. I don’t know what triggered it, but I hope it’s not a sign of something bad to come.

I’m going to try to calm myself down and go back to sleep, but I know it’s going to be difficult. I just hope that tomorrow will be a better day, and that this dream won’t haunt me for too long.

Goodnight, Diary.

Diary Entry Horrible Dream Example #2

I had the most disturbing dream last night that left me feeling completely unsettled. It was one of those dreams that felt so real, it was hard to shake off.

In the dream, I was in a dark and eerie forest, alone and lost. I walked for what felt like hours, trying to find my way out, but every path I took seemed to lead me deeper into the forest. The trees were twisted and gnarled, and the air was thick with an ominous fog.

As I walked, I heard whispers and cackles coming from the shadows around me. I tried to ignore them, but they seemed to grow louder and more menacing with every step I took. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the darkness, a grotesque creature with sharp claws and glowing eyes. It started to chase me, and I ran as fast as I could, but it was always right behind me.

Just as the creature was about to catch me, I woke up, my heart pounding and my body soaked in sweat.

I know it was just a dream, but it felt so real and terrifying that I can’t help but feel shaken by it. I’ve been trying to distract myself all day, but the image of that creature is still haunting me.

I hope tonight’s dreams are more peaceful and less disturbing. I don’t think I can handle another night like that.

Until tomorrow, Diary.

Diary Entry Horrible Dream Example #3

I had the most unsettling dream last night and I can’t stop thinking about it. It was one of those dreams that felt so real, it’s hard to believe it wasn’t.

In the dream, I was walking through an abandoned house, exploring the old and creaky rooms. As I made my way through the house, I started to feel like I was being watched. I turned around, but no one was there.

Suddenly, I heard a loud banging noise coming from upstairs. I climbed the stairs, and as I reached the top, I saw a figure standing in the hallway. It was a woman, but her face was twisted and distorted, like she was in pain. She started to scream, and I felt frozen in fear.

The woman started to move towards me, her screams getting louder and more intense. I tried to run, but my legs felt like they were made of lead. She grabbed me by the arm, and I woke up, gasping for air and covered in sweat.

I know it was just a dream, but it felt so real and terrifying. I can’t shake off the feeling of dread and fear. I’m hoping that tonight’s dreams will be more peaceful.

Until then, Diary.

Essay on “A Pleasant Dream” English Essay, Paragraph, Speech for Class 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 for College and Competitive Exams.

A pleasant dream.

Last night I went to sleep a little early than my usual time. I was tired so I fell asleep immediately. Within no time I was in the land of dreams. I dreamt that I had won the National Lottery. It was worth Rs. 10 lakh Before I could react to this good turn of events, the phone started ringing. On the phone were my friends who were calling to congratulate me. Soon my relatives and friends came to my house to express their joy. I was welcoming them with tea and snacks. I was so happy that I could not stop myself from smiling and laughing. Then all my friends and relatives sat down and started making plans for the future. They suggested that I should share my good fortune with the less privileged of the society. For this, I should donate a sum of Rs. 5000/- to the orphanage. And a sum of Rs. 5000/- to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. The rest I should invest in buying land and some property. The income from this property should be spent on gaining higher education in India or abroad. While this meeting was going on there was a loud crash in the kitchen. And with a start, I woke up. I realized that what appeared to be a crash in the kitchen was in reality the ringing of the alarm clock at my bedside.

a dream i had last night essay for class 4

I had a pleasant dream last night. I went to bed late and was fast asleep. Suddenly I felt that I was in the fairyland. There was a big garden. Flowers were blooming. The fairies were singing beautiful songs.

One fairy came to me and greeted me with a sweet smile. She offered me a small chair to sit on and enjoy the dance. Then I saw a little child playing on the flute. He arrived in the midst of the fairies. The child started dancing with the fairies. There were some dwarfs sitting nearby. There was a beautiful river. The sun was shiny and a cool breeze was blowing.

I sat under a shady tree. The tree was laden with fruit. The child brought some fruit for me. Then the chi started singing and dancing. The fairies stood aroid me. It was a beautiful scene.

When I was taking fruit and enjoying dancing, suddenly woke up. My mother asked me to get up and prepare for school.

As kids dream of getting good marks, making good friends, getting support from parents, and buying video games.

Just like others, even I have a dream of improving my career from a young age. My wish is to become a famous writer and want to publish a novel. I was never good at talking orally but I’ll have to improve my writing skills. It is my nature that I do not like to be frustrated even if somebody tells me anything. I choose to remain silent during such situations. It is not that I can not answer but as I said "I choose" because I am a peaceful person. I am also a little introverted and do not like to interact with everyone by opening my heart. It is not good and suggested to have an open heart and show feelings as it could cause you tension.

Besides writing about various events happening in my day-to-day life on a regular work basis, I also like writing stories and soon I will write my own novel. My parents are the best helper in my career.

How can we Achieve our Dreams?

There are many ways one can work towards achieving a dream. Here are some simple steps for you:

Think: Before beginning a task, make up your mind why you wish to do it. If a dream gives us the happiness of the heart, it is good to fulfill them.

Talk to your Elders: One may find it difficult to realize a dream without any guidance. But there are always the right people who can help you. Teachers, parents, elder siblings, and even friends can give you feedback. Explain what you want to achieve with your dream. Seek help.

Make Plans: One can write down all the things required to make a dream come true. Writing down helps to create clear goals.

Practice and Prepare:   A child may want to study more, get a degree or practice their cricket skills. Whatever the dream, it is possible with hard work.

Mental Skills: Sometimes one does achieve results right away. Never lose hope. When we work on a dream for a long time, dreams come true.

Example of a Great Dream

Here we share one interesting example of a dreamer who went on to achieve his dream.

There was once a unique child named Mohan. He was a happy child with many older siblings. His father was a respected man in the village, while his mother was very loved. He would not usually perform very well in his studies. It was difficult for him to score well in all subjects. As he was more fond of the other day-to-day activities of the village, his father sometimes worried about his grades. But Mohan would not feel let down by all these things. Because he was a dreamer. He dreamt of all good things. Respect, love, happiness, and a noble way of living. He would often watch plays at a local theatre. He was fond of stories and folktales that taught him nobility. However, things became difficult as he grew. He would see poverty and suffering in people's lives. Because he had seen the unhappiness of people around him, he was determined to help his people, but finding means to help such a large number of people was not easy. He decided to study more. He went to college and studied all that he could.

Once on his way to the city, traveling by a local train, he was thrown out for no clear reason. His basic rights were denied. This is when he decided to become a lawyer who stands for the rights of a common man. He provided free service and help to all the people he could. He lived a simple living. Money was scarce. But his dreams of giving happiness and respect to his people continued to live. Today he is known as the ‘Father of the nation’. We are talking about none other than Mahatma Gandhi!

FAQs on My Dream Essay in English for Class 3 Students

1. Why are Dreams Important?

Dreams are prime for physical health, mental health, and emotional well-being. All of us dream, few of us work to achieve them. Based on different stages of life, we change our dreams and aims. When we are in school, we dream of getting good grades and becoming the topper of the class. When you move to your higher studies, you dream of getting a good job and a good salary package. So, it is really important to dream.

2. What are the Benefits of Dreams?

Dreaming is an important part of successful living. Many people who achieve happiness and peace had dreamt of something socially productive and personally fulfilling at some point in their lives. As we grow older, we may face many dilemmas (problems) and failures. In such a situation, one can find positivity, faith, and inspiration through one’s dreams. And of all the dreams we think of, dreams of childhood are the most important as they create a long-lasting impression. Another benefit of dreaming as children is it helps us grow healthily by keeping us mentally involved in good activities and always driving us towards happiness.

3. Do adults dream?

Yes, adults, like children, also dream. Most adults, such as the elder siblings, parents, and even the people we meet in our school, community, and surroundings are actively dreaming about their lives and their future. Often, the dreams of their childhood are expanded and given new meanings as they grow into adults. One can often find young adults talking fondly about their ambitions and plans. This creates even more value around why we as children should nurture our dreams.

4. Can animals dream?

Most animals like cats and dogs cannot tell us about their mental state. But this is an interesting question that has been bugging the minds of even scientists for a long time. In the beginning, humans fully believed that animals do not need or have important motivators in life. Humans thought of animals as beings who cannot dream. However, a newer study tells us that while they do not nurture ambitions/dreams of becoming a pilot or a painter, they do have dream-like thoughts while they sleep. One shall learn more as science progresses.

5. Should I share my dreams with anyone?

Yes, there should be no fear or judgment involved when we hear about someone else’s dreams or talk about our dreams. Most dreams feel like they are not possible before they are fulfilled. Often, they sound silly and impractical. This should not force you to not talk about them to your loved ones, or friends in school. Most children discuss their dreams and desires even when it seems impossible to achieve. As friends and siblings, we always want to give hope and positivity to those around us.
