I have submitted my MSW course assignments ( MSW1, MSW2, MSW5, MSW4, MSW32) on 24 September 2022.My enrollment number is 2200289574. Session January 2022. I have submitted the assignments at my study Centre Vidyasagar College for Women (8A, ShibNarayan Das Lane, Kolkata-06). The record number on the submission slip is S602 to S606. Total Number of assignments is 5. My ignou grade card is not updated with the marks of assignment number MSW32 till date. Rest all other assignment details are mentioned there as scheduled. Please help me with the necessary actions needed as I have registered for June 2024 TEE.

How to submit IGNOU assignments 2023?

• Submit assignments to your study centre or regional centre as per the instructions given by the regional centre. Include your contact information (programme code, course code, enrollment no, email, phone) on assignments.
• If only hard copies are being accepted as per instructions provided by your regional centre, send hand written, signed assignments to the address provided to you. In case soft copies are being accepted during extenuating circumstances such as Covid 19, these must be signed and scanned. If you have opted for SOGDS as your RC, submit your assignments to [email protected]
• Assignments must be submitted as single documents for each course. Do not submit separate pages and do not combine assignments for two courses in a single document.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for submission of assignments for December Term End Examination (TEE) 2023. Students now have time till November 30 to submit their assignments.

Students can find the official notice at the official IGNOU website — exam.ignou.ac.in.

The December 2023 Term End Examinations of the University is likely to commence from December 1, 2023 and conclude on January 6, 2024.

Additionally, the last date to apply online for TEE December 2023 is November 10, 2023 (till 6 pm) without late fee. Candidates should select their regional centre and exam centre code carefully. Students have until November 30, to turn in their assignments. Initially, the registration deadline for December TEE 2023 is November 10. Candidates can apply for the TEE December exam on the official website at ignou.ac.in, The exam is scheduled to begin on December 1 and end on January 6, 2024.

IGNOU assignments 2023: How to submit

Hand over the assignments to your study centre or regional centre in accordance with the guidelines provided by them. The assignments should include the necessary information such as the programme code, course code, enrollment number, email, phone number.

If your regional centre specifies that only hard copies are allowed, send handwritten, signed assignments to the address specified. Soft copies must be signed and scanned if they are acceptable under unavoidable circumstances. Further, if the candidate has chosen SOGDS as the centre, they have to send the assignments to [email protected].

For each course, assignments must be submitted as a single document. Candidates should not submit separate pages or combine assignments from two courses in a single document.

With regard to the exam, candidates should note that questions must be answered in the language(s) in which the programme is available. Any attempt to write an answer script in a language other than English will be refused, and the session will be terminated without any information. Students have an alternative to appearing for the exam in Hindi.

Previously, the deadline to apply for the December TEE 2023 exam was October 22, which was later extended until November 10 until 6 pm. To help speed up the application process, IGNOU has created an online submission mechanism for exam forms. As a result, candidates should use the online portal to guarantee that their applications are completed as quickly as possible.

IGNOU Assignment Last date Extended, Applicable to Project submission too.

Last date of IGNOU assignment has been further extended upto 15th May 2024 as huge number of student has take admission on 31st March 2024.

This is applicable to All Programme student under TEE June 2024 SSN including Master and Bachelor Degree. IGNOU Assignment last date is common for all students irrespective of Admission year, Programme or Mode (ODL or OL).

IGNOU Assignment last date is always extended from 31 march to 30 April in first lot because of extension in admission date for January session. Further, IGNOU Exam form last date is extended till 25  May 2024 . So it implies in a way that Assignment last date also to be again extended around the last date of exam form submission. This is as per previous session practice of extension in last date for assignment and exam form together.  Also the study material delay delivery is reason for assignment date extension. Assignment submission for June 2024 session has started from 1 March 2024. Both ODL and OL Programme mode student has to submit assignment for each course code. IGNOU Exam form submission has also started and student can Apply for exam.

IGNOU assignment last date is a time frame given to the students. They need to download question paper and submit assignment answers at Study centre (for ODL mode students ) or at LMS (for OL mode students ). Assignment to be submitted at study centre in Offline mode (in person / Speed Post) or as per your Regional Centre guidelines.

The last date is mentioned on the assignment question paper itself. As per assignment question paper for few programme last date is 31 March 2024 while it is 30 April 2024 for few programme.  The Bottom line is 30 April 2024 is the last date for all IGNOU Programme because last date is never programme specific.

What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

• For TEE June Cycle / Session   : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University  extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
• For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

Explained with Example

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

Note : Assignment Question paper can be downloaded from University Website. Before writing assignment answers check the validity of Assignment question paper which is written on the Assignment Question paper itself. Student who could submit assignment then they need to download fresh Assignment Question paper from website.

The IGNOU Student Evaluation Division (SED) monitors and updates Term-end examinations result, assignments submisisons and extension of dates, projects, practical examinations, dissertations, viva-voce, field work, etc. and award of  degrees/ Diplomas/ certificates.

First year July 2023 admission session students of MEG, MCOM, , MHD, MPS, MAH, MSO, MAPC, MEC, MPA, MAAN, MGPS, MARD, MSCDFSM, MSCCFT, MSW, MSWC, MAEDU, MADE, MAAE, MAPY, MADVS,  MAGD, MATS, MAJMC etc can submit assignment for June 2024 session. The last date of IGNOU assignment is 30 April 2024.

Once a learner submitted the assignment, never forget to check the assignment submission status on the website after few weeks.

Generally Once the assignment submission date is over, Study Center takes necessary  steps to get the assignment evaluated and is sent to the approved evaluator / Academic Counsellor of IGNOU for evaluation. Later when Evaluator completes the evaluation and tabulation of marks course wise then it submitted to the Study Center Co-ordinator. Later it is uploaded on the University website.

The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

Admission to MEd programs at Indira Gandhi National Open University for the 2024–25 academic year is not available. On the other hand, the IGNOU admissions procedure has begun for the July session, and the application deadline is June 30, 2024. About IGNOU M.Ed Admission 2024

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is accepting applications for their Master of Education (M.Ed) program starting in July 2024. Important note: IGNOU is not offering M.Ed. admission for the entire 2024-25 academic session.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Apply online by June 30th, 2024 at IGNOU website .
• You must have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized university to be eligible.
• The application fee is Rs 300.
• Meeting the deadline and filling out the form correctly is crucial. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• Admission is based on merit, not on promises from individuals or private institutions.

If you’re enrolled in other IGNOU programs (BA, MA, B.Sc., MBA etc.), remember the assignment submission deadline for the June 2024 exams is May 31st, 2024.

To preparr on your M Ed journey at IGNOU, you need to be aware of the important dates:

Please note that admission for Certificate Programmes is now closed. Eligible students can also apply for Government of India Scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal after confirming their admission.

IGNOU M.Ed Admission Process

IGNOU offers two convenient methods for M.Ed. admission: online and offline.

Online Admission Process

• Visit the IGNOU Online Admission System.
• Select your desired M Ed program and carefully review the program details, including eligibility criteria, fee structure, and duration.
• Click on “NEW REGISTRATION” if you’re a first-time applicant. Fill in the required registration details, including your email and mobile number.
• Choose a unique username (8 to 16 characters) and an alphanumeric password (8 to 16 characters).
• After completing the mandatory information, click “SUBMIT.” Your username will be sent to you via email and SMS.

Prepare the following scanned documents:

• Photograph (less than 100 KB)
• Signature (less than 100 KB)
• Relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
• Experience Certificate (if any, less than 200 KB)
• Category Certificate (if SC/ST/OBC, less than 200 KB)

At last, pay the required fees using one of the online payment methods. Once you have uploaded all the documents, you can preview your form, save it, and print it for future reference.

Offline Admission Process

If you prefer the offline method, you can collect the IGNOU Application Form from your nearest regional centre. You can also download the form online. Follow these steps for offline admission:

• Fill in the M.Ed. application form with the provided instructions carefully.
• Review your form for accuracy and completeness.
• Submit your completed M.Ed. Admission Form to the nearest IGNOU Regional Centre.

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for M.Ed. admission at IGNOU, it’s crucial to understand the eligibility criteria and fee structure for the programme.

• You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B Ed) with at least 55% marks.
• You should be a teacher with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school recognized by a central or state government or a union territory.
