It was so colourful and vibrant, the environment was lively, and I could spot foreigners too. People of all ages were gathered up here. We started taking the stroll from the first stall on the left side of the entrance. It primarily exhibited oil paintings that were glossy and alluring. These were mostly the paintings of single pieces. It looked like the way we take close up captures from our cameras.
Next to it, abstract paintings were put up for exhibition. I found this form of art confusing. It picked up my brain. I felt that I, too, could have easily managed to make a stroke or two of those from my skilful hand, but I wasn’t confident enough to make such an utterance in front of my mother. I let the thought pass before it would have made a settlement in my tiny brain.
The third stall was the most interesting. It had a great collection from renowned painters around the world. It also had some paintings by great artists like Michelangelo and Picasso. I wanted my mother to buy at least one of them, but it was way over our budget. I decided I would draw a sketch and colour it nicely and offer it as a present to my mother on her birthday.
By half-past six, we were tired of walking, and there were benches at the end of the exhibition. We sat down there. Bustling popcorns, lemon tea and mouth-watering fritters were available to eat. We kept munching till we burped. We bought a wooden frame for the sketch I planned to do next weekend and returned home in time for dinner. It was a delightful evening.

I am very fond of visiting exhibitions. Exhibitions are of various types. But the exhibition which I saw a few months ago at Pragati Maidan, was the most impressive that I have seen so far. There were articles of various types on display. But mainly it was an exhibition of books, paintings, graphics and clay models. Almost all the halls of Pragati Maidan were full with the displayed articles.
As I entered the main gate, I saw a huge statue made of clay. This was a very grand statue. For me it was really a piece of art. Then, I entered into one of the halls where books were displayed. There were books on almost all subjects.
Books on science, technology and engineering were displayed in one of the corners. The books on subjects like history, sociology, political science, economics and literature were displayed in the other corner. There were huge volumes on almost all the branches of science and humanity.
The works of Shakespeare attracted a large crowd. Some of his works like Macbeth, Hamlet and Othello were selling like hot cakes. Leading publishers from across the world displayed their best titles and offered huge discounts on the same.
The hall in which clay models were displayed , was also a major attraction. The clay models included pitchers, kettles, glasses, dishes, saucers as well as figures of men and women. These clay models looked very beautiful. The children were delighted to see these toys of clay.
This exhibition increased my knowledge. I was really impressed to see the various exhibits. This exhibition continued for a fortnight. It attracted lakhs of visitors. This was, as a matter of fact, an exhibition organised on an international scale.
Many countries like the USA, Russia, England, Germany, France, Japan, Nepal, Sri Lanka etc. participated in this exhibition. They displayed their best abilities in sciences and humanities. Some of their top artists and painters were also present during the exhibition. This exhibition has left an everlasting impression on my mind.

Recently, I visited an exhibition that was held in the Science and Art Cultural hall of our town with my friends. It was titled as ‘The Science and Crafts Exhibition’. I was really very impressed with it. It was a huge exhibition, but still not as big as the national and international ones held in Delhi.
In the Science and Art Cultural hall
We entered the gates of the hall at 3 o’clock in the noon. There we saw so many decorated stalls which were colorful nearby. That vast space was decorated in magnificent, bright and pink color and was lit up with countless lights. There seemed to be more and more as we were stepping further into the hall. All the stalls were beautifully decorated by different colors’ chart-papers and fabrics. It was definitely obvious that all the participants had used their skill and imaginations with their shops. There were two sections in the hall. First one was for science projects and second was for the craft projects. All of them were handmade.
Even I and my friends enjoyed some food stalls there. There were some shops selling tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks where we refreshed ourselves. There were some amusements and rides like merry go round and giant wheel. We spent approximately five hours at the exhibition. All the people including women and children were going from corner to corner. All of them were admiring the beauty and uniqueness of all kinds of stalls set up in the hall. The stalls were looking like small shops.
About Science Section
Our first impression on entering the section of science was like that thing whole thing looked like a fairyland. There were so many scientists who came from all over the India. They belonged to different-different states. We visited so many domes that were presenting science, technology, and communications. There were various kinds of models of computers, satellites, and rockets. We saw some tanks also there that are used in the fights and defense. We felt so proud of our progress in Science and technology. We also had the experience of robots there. There were some other stalls of electronic goods, robot toys, and science fiction books.

About Craft Section
Then we entered into the section of Craft and Art. There were so many Artists and craftsmen from all over the states. They displayed so many things that catch our eyes. The potteries, handbags, textiles, shawls, handicrafts, paintings, hats, jewelry, handlooms, jute crafts were just some of them.
We realized that the craftsmen and artists must have spent months or years in preparing for this exhibition. What we all liked the best were the shawls from Kashmir. It was really amazing to know that what a man can do with his two hands. In the craft section, there were also some prizes for the best-decorated colorful stall, the best artist, the best craftsmen etc. I believe that the craftsman from the Kashmiri stall must have got a prize.
Conclusion (Brief report on A Visit To an Exhibition)
We are really happy as we got such a great opportunity to see the art, craft, and science from various states in this exhibition. I am glad as I got a chance to see the wonders that the people of our country have to offer to the world time to time. The exhibits were really good and polite. They also gave us important information about the different states. We saw so many different cultural aspects of all states of India. I enjoyed our visit to the exhibition very much and I accept that it was one of the best experiences of my life.

A Visit to an Exhibition Essay
An Exhibition is a place where beautiful attractive and artistic things arranged for public shows. It has a great commercial and educative value. Delhi has seen many exhibitions like Railway Exhibition, Post Telegraph Exhibition. International Exhibitions create friendly relations between various nations.
We requested a gentleman to purchase our tickets also because he was tenth or eleventh in the queue. Thus we took the tickets and end the gate. First of all, we saw a fountain just in front of the gate and it was foaming.
First, we entered the U.S. stall and saw a man, who appeared to be just like a magician. He was showing various wonderful things. He converted the sound waves produced by a gramophone into the light waves and focused die light- waves somewhere.
Then as he placed some obstacle in the way of light waves, the gramophone stopped, In the same way, a moving train obeyed his orders. He sad the word “Stop” and the train at once stopped and when he said ‘Move forward’, it obeyed and when he said “Now move back” the train began to move back.
In the U.S stall, there was a picture-hall, in which three hundred persons could sit at a time. In the picture, the principle of ‘Atomic Structure’ was clearly explained. A magic hand was also a good thing.
Now we entered the stall of Democratic Germany. There, the glass man was one of the interesting things. The Chinese stall was one of the best stalls. On the left of the stall, there was some machinery to which we did not pay much attention. But on the right crockery work was exhibited.
There were also different kinds of fruits made in wax. They looked like real ones. My younger brother wanted to have some of them, but I told him that it was wax. Then we went to the Polish stall we did not take any interest there because there was nothing except large machines.
So we did not waste any time there. It was 9-30pm We were tired and did not want to see more. We decided to leave and come out of the exhibition area. Highly pleased with what we saw there, we returned home in a taxi

I saw numerous images, articles, sculptures, and scriptures– palm leaf and rock engravings and many other articles of great value and interest as we entered the ground floor of the museum. The entire museum is divided into different departments like the archaeological division, anthropological division, display section, etc.
On going to the first floor we saw paintings, murals, charts amongst the various other things. There were manuscripts in different languages on display. We saw various ancient weapons, robes, and dresses on display. One of the corners is dedicated to the numismatics section. This section has coins from different periods put on display.
There are the realistic paintings of Ellora caves alongside beautiful replicas of the Ajanta frescoes in one hall. In addition to these, the paintings depicting the lives of Lord Krishna, Lord Rama, and Lord Buddha through scriptures and charts are also put on display. One could truly discover the glorious history of India after having a look at this section.
We saw the remains of the Indus Valley Civilization on the second floor. There are the excavations from Harappa, Mohenjodaro, Lothal, Kalibanga, and Ropar put on display. The broken pitchers, toys, stones, beads, skulls, etc. reflect a lot about the civilization of those times. We were really surprised to find out how advanced that civilization was.
The third floor belongs to the military equipment section. The weapons from the ancient times, such as the spears and pruning hooks, swords and sheaths, shields and helmets, different types of dresses of the commanders and generals from the past ages are showcased. It was a thrilling experience. Seeing all the equipment and attires of the past heroes of our nation was too inspiring for us.
The whole museum is a treasure trove of the history of India. You learn about the history of great men of India and their morals. The laurels, legends, and historical facts are connected with an entire gamut of literature and the life of India. Whether they were poets or prose writers, scientists or galaxy-gazers, dancers or dramatists, musicians or doctors, songsters or sculptors, lawgivers, or lexicographers, you get to experience their lives from the past through the remains curated and put on display.

The winter months in New Delhi can be described as the exhibition and fair months. At any given point of time, the National Capital Region plays host to as many as four to five exhibitions and fairs of varying sizes. The other day I visited the Textile and Costume Exhibition, held at the Agha Khan Hall at the Bhagwan Das Road, New Delhi. Introduction
I’ve always been a huge art lover, and this was my chance to visit some of the most famous exhibitions in the world. I quickly realised that this wasn’t going to be as easy as it sounded. Not only was it hard work travelling to different cities every week, but getting into the exhibition itself was just as tough. Fortunately, I had some amazing friends who were willing to help me out. And although it wasn’t an easy process, the end result was worth it. Read on to find out what happened when I visited one of the world’s most renowned art exhibitions.
The Exhibition
I recently visited an exhibition entitled “The Unseen Face of War” which was located in the Liverpool Museum. The exhibition presented the unseen face of war through its collection of photographs, objects and interviews with people who have experienced or been affected by war. The exhibition was very eye-opening and gave me a much better understanding of the devastating effects of war. I particularly enjoyed the photographs of children affected by war which showed how their lives had been changed forever. I also found the objects on display very interesting, especially the guns used during World War II which were so barbaric. Overall, I thought the exhibition was very powerful and informative and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about the unseeable face of war.
What I Saw at the Exhibition
The exhibition, “Reclaiming the Past: The History and Culture of Black enslaved people in America” was a very interesting and eyeopening experience. I never really knew about the history of black enslaved people in America, and this exhibition opened my eyes to a lot of information that I didn’t know before. One thing that I found particularly interesting was the display of artifacts such as clothes, furniture, artwork, and tools from different time periods. It was fascinating to see how each object reflected the culture and beliefs of its corresponding era. Additionally, the exhibit included displays regarding history-making events such as the first African American voter registration in Chicago or Emmett Till’s murder. Overall, I thought that this exhibition was extremely informative and it provided me with a greater understanding of the unfortunate history of black enslaved people in America.
My Thoughts on the Exhibition
When I visited the “My Visit to an Exhibition” exhibition, I was struck by the vast amount of history that is encapsulated within these walls. The exhibit spans over 130 years and highlights a wide array of historical periods and events. It was fascinating to see how each era’s style reflected its own cultural values and attitudes. For example, the Arts and Crafts Movement featured painstakingly detailed artwork, while World War II presented us with stark images of war-torn Europe. The exhibit also gave me a better understanding of historic events that have shaped our world. For example, I knew about the Russian Revolution, but now I learned about the concurrent Chinese Revolution and how both revolutions influenced one another. Additionally, the exhibition made me more aware of global tensions such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Seeing all these different perspectives represented in one place has definitely sharpened my understanding of history and current events.
The exhibition was a great experience and I learned a lot about the history of law. The displays were very informative and it was nice to see all of the different styles and techniques that lawyers have used over the years. There was also a lot of interesting information about the court system and how it works. Overall, I thought the exhibition was really well done and I am glad that I had the opportunity to visit it. My Thoughts on the Experience of the Exhibition- I was very impressed with the exhibition. It was comprehensive and included a lot of different objects that help to illustrate the presidency. I especially enjoyed the Presidential speeches section, where I could read speeches by George Washington, James K. Polk, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and John F. Kennedy. There were also some really rare photos included in this section, including one of John F. Kennedy shaking hands with Nikita Khrushchev after the Cuban Missile Crisis. Overall, I thought it was a really informative exhibit and it made me want to learn more about each of the presidents who have served in office. Especially since we are heading into an election year soon! One of the most impressive collections in the museum is the Egyptian section. There are pieces from before and after the Pharaohs ruled Egypt, including beautiful painted coffins from around 2600 B.C. The tomb of King Tutankhamun is also well-represented, with splendid artifacts including his death mask and broken sarcophagus. In addition to paintings and sculptures, there are also a variety of antiquities on display in the museum’s collection. These include items from all over ancient Greece and Rome, as well as objects from more recent history like World War II militaria and Vietnam War memorabilia. A Visit To An Exhibition – English Essay

As we entered the gates, I saw many colorfully decorated stalls nearby. There seemed to be more and more as we entered further into the grounds. They were all beautifully decorated. It was obvious that the participants had used all their skill and imagination in doing up their shops.
Artists and craftsmen from all over the state, and several from even other states, were so many things on display that we grew dazed. Potteries, textiles, shawls, handicrafts, paintings, jewellery, handlooms, jutecrafts were just some of them.
All the exhibits were really very good. The craftsmen and artists must have spent months in preparing for this exhibition. What we all liked best were the shawls from Kashmir and the stone sculptures from Andhra Pradesh. It is really amazing What man can do with his two hands.
There were also prizes for the best decorated stall, best artists, best craftsmen etc. To our delight, the craftsman from the Kashmiri stall also got a prize. There were some shops selling tea and snacks where we refreshed ourselves.
We enjoyed our visit to the exhibition very much. We got a change to see the wonders that the people of India have to offer to the world.

I learnt a lot about different kinds of bacteria and about the development and remedies concerning various diseases. The engineering feats of India and other countries were also displayed. There were several machines, devices and gadgets which I had not heard or seen before. India’s progress in the field of Information Technology was also well highlighted. As I returned home, I found myself too stuffed with knowledge to help boasting about my visit to the wonderland. Essay No. 02 A Visit to an Exhibition A visit to an exhibition is a novel experience. An exhibition which I visited recently was very interesting. It was one of the largest exhibitions ever held. Being a Sunday there were so many visitors that made it difficult to walk. Men, women and children in their colourful and best dresses were there. At the booking counter, there were long queues. I bought tickets and entered the exhibition ground. Our parents and I enjoyed the exhibition for a long time. The grounds were decorated very well. There were stalls and pavilions of ministries, companies and states. There were many restaurants and stalls. We went from one pavilion to another. There were hundreds of exhibits for the domestic use. By the time we came out of the German pavilion, we were very tired. We went to a coffee shop and had hot coffee. Next we took a round of the stalls. My mother bought a shawl. We visited the village complex. There were village singers, jugglers and folk artists. They were giving their performances. There were carts, wells, pools and bridges in them. We enjoyed a puppet show. By the time, we came out of the village complex, it was evening. We decided to return home. But much of the exhibition was still left unseen, as it was spread in a big open space. Essay No. 03 A Visit to an Agricultural Exhibition An agricultural exhibition was held in Delhi last month. I went to see the exhibition. The exhibition was held at a vast open ground which was covered with tents, steel structures and plastic coverings in artistic designs. There was a great rush at the exhibition. The entry was free. There were different stalls, cabins and showrooms of different States and agricultural universities. I was able to learn about the advances made by India in the agricultural sector over the decades. I learnt through charts, tables and models how the Green Revolution was brought about. I saw new agricultural implements, machines and devices such as harvesters, diesel pumps, sprinklers, etc. I saw the new seeds and saplings of different kinds of crops and, vegetables. A central cabin highlighted the progress made by different States in the agricultural sphere. A comparative study of this progress made by different States enabled me to have a fair idea of different kinds of per capita food available to people in different States. There was a suggestion box where one could make suggestions, if any, for the improvement of agriculture and irrigation in India. Many new ideas put forward by some scientists, students and enlightened farmers were also displayed in the exhibition. When I returned home, I was full of new knowledge, ideas and imagination. I was eager to do something for the country. I was particularly impressed by the idea of crop diversification and increasing the output of cash crops. I wished that India should be able to export a part of her produce to earn foreign exchange which could be used for industrial development and social security measures. There were many visitors to this exhibition as all these artists are very well known all over the world. Their works were on sale. The paintings were costly. So, I could not buy any painting. Some of my friends too were with me. We reached the fair at 3 O’clock. There were many long queues at the ticket counter. At the entrance gate our tickets were checked. Inside we saw many halls of different states and different countries of the world. Each hall looked attractive. There were different halls of almost every state of India. Each Industrial hall has a separate hall for its goods which were well displayed. We saw handicrafts, machines and instruments, electronic goods, toys, leather work, wood-working on furniture, embroidery, paintings, idols of gods and goddesses on metals and stones. There were handloom clothes, sarees with beautiful embroidery on them and silk cloth along with many other things. All these were for sale. Many people were buying these things. Sales girls were seen ex- plaining the quality and function of some of the machines and also telling their uses. Next were the stalls of machines. Almost many of the machines were new ones-the latest in its series. They were sophisticated but could do the job of many people at a time. These machines were the products of Indians. We felt proud of our country and its engineers who had developed such wonderful machines. Then we saw different kinds of phones, computers and other electronics goods not only of India but also of various countries of the world. We enjoyed watching them. They were all interesting and modern. After walking and walking for a long time we felt hungry and tired. We went to food stalls where we got eatables of our choice. We took South Indian and did justice with it. It was getting dark. So we decided to go back home. We enjoyed our visit to the trade fair which was both educative and interesting. Exhibitions are of various types. But the exhibition which I saw a few months ago at Pragati Maidan, was the most impressive that I have seen so far. There were articles of various types on display. But mainly it was an exhibition of books, paintings, graphics and clay models. Almost all the halls of Pragati Maidan were full with the displayed articles. As I entered the main gate, I saw a huge statue made of clay. This was a very grand statue. For me it was really a piece of art. Then, I entered into one of the halls where books were displayed. There were books on almost all subjects. Books on science, technology and engineering were displayed in one of the corners. The books on subjects like history, sociology, political science, economics and literature were displayed in the other corner. There were huge volumes on almost all the branches of science and humanity. The works of Shakespeare attracted a large crowd. Some of his works like Macbeth, Hamlet and Othello were selling like hot cakes. Leading publishers from across the world displayed their best titles and offered huge discounts on the same. The hall in which clay models were displayed , was also a major attraction. The clay models included pitchers, kettles, glasses, dishes, saucers as well as figures of men and women. These clay models looked very beautiful. The children were delighted to see these toys of clay. This exhibition increased my knowledge. I was really impressed to see the various exhibits. This exhibition continued for a fortnight. It attracted lakhs of visitors. This was, as a matter of fact, an exhibition organised on an international scale. Many countries like the USA, Russia, England, Germany, France, Japan, Nepal, Sri Lanka etc. participated in this exhibition. They displayed their best abilities in sciences and humanities. Books are a great source of knowledge. They are our good friends . They provide mental health and entertainment. The knowledge gained by our ancestors, our culture, and our heritage remains with us in the form of books , Book fairs, and libraries help a lot in encouraging the hobby of reading . In our city book fairs are held from time to time. My father always takes me to these book fairs. Book lovers, readers, booksellers, publishers, and buyers gather in large numbers at the book fairs. Books regarding all subjects are displayed. One can browse the bookstalls and buy books of one’s choice. Seminars, discussions, and interviews of authors are arranged. This helps in the exchange of views. I happened to visit a big book fair held in our city recently. Publishers and booksellers from all over the country had come to the fair. There were books on various subjects history , geography, science, technology, literature, travel, etc. There were books in all major Indian languages. But Marathi and English books were the major attractions. The booksellers were offering attractive gifts on the purchase of books. My father browsed through many well-known old and new novels. I searched for fiction books. I bought a dictionary and Harry Potter books. My father bought one autobiography and a couple of other books. We bought Panchatantra for my younger sister. The publisher gave us a 20% discount on our purchase. It was evening now and the fair was overcrowded. Many schoolchildren and elder people visited the fair. My father and I spent almost two to three hours at the fair. We then returned home with much satisfaction.
