Student Guide to Video Assessment
Submitting your Video
To submit a video you have recorded and prepared for submission, go back to Blackboard and find your Video Assessment Dropbox , which looks like this:
Assuming that you have prepared the video and it is in your personal folder in Panopto, you can proceed from number 2 in the assessment guidance shown in the picture above:
- Click on the assignment title (in the screenshot above, the title is Example video assessment)
- The following dialog will appear. Select Create Submission
- Expand the text box menu if it is collapsed by clicking the ellipsis icon:
- Click the Plus icon to open the menu:
- Click the Mashups icon and select Panopto Student Video Submission :
- A new browser window will pop up, showing the content of your last opened folder on your personal account in Panopto. Select the video you want to submit using the radio buttons, then click Submit Video.
- Upon clicking Submit Video , the link to the video is inserted. At this time, you can add text in the text box, and you can attach additional files to your submission.
