How to Write a Coursework

define of coursework

Coursework projects do not resemble essays, research papers, or dissertations. They are the combination of all three. Students spend less time writing coursework than on making a term paper, but this type of work requires more time and efforts than an ordinary essay - it is made of several essays. Thanks to our guide, each student can discover how to write coursework. If you are running out of time or lack experience to complete the specific coursework, we recommend using our coursework writing services to hire professional academic writers.

What is Coursework and Why Does It Matter?

Coursework definition: General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) coursework is a typical academic assignment, given in the course of study to evaluate the student’s knowledge, skills, and identify the final grade. Many students face this type of writing in the US colleges. One of the examples is a coursework UTD (The University of Texas at Dallas) - the requirements of this institution are strict, and many students fail to submit their papers and pass the corresponding courses.

Such type of assignment helps to have the ‘detective’ hat on: a student observes, examines, and evaluates the chosen topic using credible, up-to-date, and relevant sources. Working under controlled conditions is important. Participating in every school class will help to prepare good coursework by the end of the term. Take a look at the examples of what students of various profiles may face:

  • English Composition - English coursework is an extended essay in most cases. A student has a right to pick the topic. The tutors provide their students with the list of recommended titles to choose from, sources to observe & analyze, and a format (e.g., a comparison between different relevant articles)
  • Sciences - coursework for science is a complicated assignment. Such type of work appears in the form of a scientific paper to test what a writer investigates and reports independently.
  • Geography - geography coursework is about collecting, reporting, and explaining information to reply to a certain geographical question or offer solutions to the problem. One idea is to explore the usage of a shopping mall or analyze the recent tornado. No matter whether you have to prepare a coursework Columbia or such paper for other educational institutions, keep in mind these differences!

Types of Coursework Explained

English Language coursework is the most common type of this assignment. At advanced GCE level, the student will be expected to write a couple of essays, totaling 3,000 words. Every assignment is 20 marks maximum.

Types of Coursework

An analytical essay : Evaluate, compare, & contrast 3 different sources of data interconnected by a common theme; written /spoken / multimedia content. Discuss different uses for targeting various audiences. Learn more on our blog.

Original essay with a supportive commentary : A student will have to come up with a single piece of media writing in the observed modes (written, spoken, or multimodal). Add a supporting piece with details about the aspects of English language. English Language & Literature coursework is a bit different. The basic requirements are the same, and the parts are:

An analytical study : Sharing an analysis of the chosen piece and its relation to the related content. It will show how well the writer understands the original piece. Tutors grade such works based on the:

  • Use of the proper terminology and the coherence of the written words;
  • Understanding & evaluation of the way a structure, form, and language create the written & spoken word;
  • Opportunity to observe relationships between various pieces of writing.

Creative writing & commentary : Produce a creative piece that imitates the style of the assessed text. Share comments to backup your understanding. The goal is to show the knowledge, prove the competence, and use appropriate language skills in communicating with the target audience. You will also need a relevant coursework resume (review) in both cases. Keep on reading to learn how to write coursework of A level.

How to Write a Coursework: Guide for Students

Several factors may lead to the coursework being disqualified. It is a serious matter! The risk factors include:

  • Plagiarism - it is the worst thing that could happen to any type of academic assignment. Lots of relevant information is available on the world wide web today, and the tutors are strict about the issue of plagiarism. Write everything in your own words! If you decide to insert the quotes from the sources, apply the suggested citation format and develop a list of references. Sign the declaration claiming it is your original project. If you're unsure about how to approach this, seeking professional help by choosing to write my coursework can be a wise decision.
  • Word count - do not ignore the specific requirements concerning the length of the coursework. Specify if the footnotes, appendices, & references are included in the word count.
  • Topics - go through the list of available themes. If there is an examination planned on the specific topic, try to pick another idea for the coursework.
  • Tutor’s assistance - do not ignore the help of your instructor, ask them to provide guidance on what to write. Ask the questions to learn more details, but keep in mind they can go through the 1st draft once and just offer some general recommendations.

Choosing a Topic for Your Project

Dedicate enough time to this extra important question. Select the field of your interest if it is possible to relate it to the course. That is the golden rule of choosing a coursework topic - keep in mind the rest of the hints:

  • Analyze the offered list of topics or develop yours
  • Pick a topic from the area of your expertise related to the studied subject
  • Select the topic you are interested in
  • Choose the topic you’ve started to observe in the past
  • Check how much relevant, up-to-date information is available on the Internet about each of the topics
  • Pick what you can measure, change, & control (they call it a ‘fair test’)
  • Use the ideas of previous researchers and students
  • Do not choose a topic with a vast scope - you risk struggling to research it correctly

Research & Data Collection

Research is an integral part of coursework. Have you written research papers before? If yes, you will find it easier to select proper primary & secondary sources and gather the necessary information (evidence to support the main point - thesis). Depending on the required paper format, cite & reference the following sources:

  • Books & e-Books

Base the project on a specific hypothesis. The research must start with minimum one hypothesis. The research stage for some topics may consist of visiting websites to collect information. Leave another time for collecting the data as it is the heart of the research. Three methods of data collection are known:

  • Direct personal investigation : The one an author does individually (using literature and findings from previous studies);
  • Interview/Questionnaire : The researcher should gather the data from the respondents asking questions regarding required data;
  • Discussion with community leaders : Community leaders are approached to fetch information for the necessary data.

In case a student works on a scientific experiment, they should pay attention to planning the analysis with the help of rigorous scientific methods (keeping in mind the Health & Safety precautions you take). Review background information and theories. Take notes to express what you expect to occur to compare & contrast it to what happened in real life. In the write-up stage, one has to evaluate and present the findings.

6 steps to writing a good introduction

Writing a Coursework Outline

The writing process follows the research. Do not start it without preparing an action plan and scheduling the work - a paper pin for English coursework is based on an extended essay . An outline will look different for the science coursework projects. The goal of creating a plan is to prevent a writer from being disorganized and waffling.

Writing a Coursework Outline

Let us explain coursework outline on the specific example - a project on the global pursuit of lower costs and the role of human rights.

Start with the brief introduction explaining why it might be a topic of interest for many people. Mention those vast corporations like Wal-Mart abuse human rights by choosing and using child labor in the factories.

Provide an overview of the problem . Define human rights and costs. Pick the definitions from the official dictionaries and cite them properly when inserting in the text. Try to explain the terms in your own words.

Develop a body of the coursework , start with the case for & against ethical business practices. Using evidence and examples, list the arguments supporting ethical business practices and another side of the coin. Include a business case for ethical practices after the opening body paragraph.

Move to discussing ethical responsibilities ; explain why business organizations should care about the ethical aspects of their activities. After three sections of the body, one can conclude the paper. It can be a good idea to share a fact or statistics stressing the importance of research problem in the essay conclusion. End up with the reference list that may look this way:

  • Klein N (2000) No Logo (Flamingo, London)
  • Marcousé I, Gillespie A, Martin B, Surridge M and Wall N (2003) Business Studies 2e (Hodder Arnold, Oxon)
  • Royal Dutch Shell (2006) 4th Quarter Financial Report at (site example)

GENERAL RULE FOR CITING SOURCES IN COURSEWORK

Additional Elements

Supporting materials and pictures are a must! The sciences & geography projects require tables, charts, graphs, and other types of images to illustrate the complicated topic. Not only should you add the pictures - it is essential to interpret and reference each of them. A separate part of the coursework where the student list and explains every visual element is Appendix , and it is an optional part. The presence of appendix increases the chances to earn an A+.

How to Write an Introduction for Coursework?

Most of the students underestimate the role of introduction & conclusion when it comes to writing an essay. An eye-catchy introduction is a key to success. The primary purposes of a coursework introduction are:

  • To grab the reader’s attention
  • To introduce the topic
  • To explain the research importance
  • To come up with a compelling thesis statement

The opening paragraph shows the depth of the writer’s acquaintance with the topic. Look at the expert tips below. They will help to learn how to write a coursework introduction to make the tutor want to read your entire paper.

What Is an Introduction?

The introduction of GCSE coursework is the opening paragraph that aims to interpret the central questions and purposes of the entire paper. It should have several elements to be effective. Those are:

  • A hook sentence
  • Background information
  • Problem significance
  • Solid thesis statement

Advice from our Experienced Writer

How to write an introduction to coursework? The quality of this part predetermines paper’s success. Look at some common mistakes writers do while working on the coursework introduction - try to prevent them!

Ignoring the prompt. Many students tend to neglect the tutor’s instructions. It is critical to read the prompt several times, highlight the main points, research question, rules, and grading rubric details.

Missing a plan. The prompt does not always say to develop a coursework outline. Without a plan for every separate section, it is impossible to write a flawless piece step-by-step. No matter whether you have to write a term paper, research paper, dissertation, or C3 coursework, get ready with the detailed plan. Once you understand how to write an introduction, it will be easier to develop the rest of the paper.

For those who need a helping hand in ensuring their work meets all the standards and deadlines, don't hesitate to buy coursework from trusted professionals.

Circular economy introduction

What is a circular economy?

Other available languages

  • Circular economy explained

The circular economy is a system where materials never become waste and nature is regenerated. In a circular economy, products and materials are kept in circulation through processes like maintenance, reuse, refurbishment, remanufacture, recycling, and composting. The circular economy tackles climate change and other global challenges, like biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution, by decoupling economic activity from the consumption of finite resources.

The circular economy is based on three principles, driven by design:

Eliminate waste and pollution.

Circulate products and materials (at their highest value)

Regenerate nature

In our current economy, we take materials from the Earth, make products from them, and eventually throw them away as waste – the process is linear. In a circular economy, by contrast, we stop waste being produced in the first place.

We must transform every element of our take-make-waste system: how we manage resources, how we make and use products, and what we do with the materials afterwards. Only then can we create a thriving circular economy that can benefit everyone within the limits of our planet.

A way to transform our system

What will it take to transform our throwaway economy into one where waste is eliminated, resources are circulated, and nature is regenerated?

The circular economy gives us the tools to tackle climate change and biodiversity loss together, while addressing important social needs.

It gives us the power to grow prosperity, jobs, and resilience while cutting greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and pollution.

Foundations of Practice

For students in the fifth semester of the MArch I degree program, this course examines models and issues that define contemporary professional practice. Requiring students to examine a broad range of legal, financial, organizational, and ethical topics, the course prepares students to engage and lead in the production of the built environment. The course takes advantage of the multidisciplinary programs of the GSD, bringing a wide breath of experienced professionals to share insights and develop the tools necessary for productive collaborations within the complex space of specific professional, practical, and disciplinary obligations.

Each week the course explores professional practice through a critical reading of primary texts that frame key concepts and models, as well as relevant case studies and applications for stress testing the boundaries of these models.

Course format : Combination of lectures, guest lectures, and workshops. Each subject area contains supplemental material that provides standard references and supplemental case studies that highlight the boundaries and thresholds of practice. This is intended to provide students with an exposure to critical aspects of practice—from accounting to contracting and from project delivery to professional ethics. In addition, students will explore the wide-ranging roles of respective professional associations in shaping contractual relationships, public policy, and the parameters of practice itself. In more immediate terms, students will explore:

– Client communications and engagement;

– The drafting and execution of standard AIA contract series;

– The interpretation and due process considerations of local government regulations;

– The strategic advancement of public design reviews or public procurement opportunities; and

– The financial economics of operating a practice.

Connecting each of these dimensions of practice are the codes of professional ethics and various elements of statutory and case law that collectively define the professional standard of care. The intent is for students to develop a reflexive understanding of their duty to clients, third-party consultants, and the general public consistent with their obligations as design professionals and community leaders. This course serves as a foundation from which students may develop further interests and skills in the GSD’s professional practice distributional elective course offerings.

Greetings earthlings and sunbeams.

If you find yourself asking, “Why do I feel so weird today?” it just may be that the moon is void-of-course.

A refresher: While the sun stays in each  zodiac sign  for roughly a month, the moon changes signs every two to 2.5 days.

Void of course, often written as v/c, describes the period of time from the moment the moon makes its final contact with any planet in its current sign to the point that it transitions into the next sign.

What does it mean for us when the moon is void-of-course?

Void-of-course moon means that nothing is interacting with the moon and thus our tin cup mirror in the sky is out there living loose and free. Representing the divine feminine, past lives and the archetype of the mother, the moon is our emotional ballast and when there is nothing for her to work for, with or against the feeling is a general unmooring.

Astrologer Estelle Daniels describes this period of time as the moon being “off the clock.”

She imparts, “This is the cosmic relaxation time, when it is best to kick back, relax, hang out, have a party, read a book, do those household chores and generally just wait until the Moon changes signs.”

The moon needs the support of other planets to do its bidding, create, maintain etc. When la luna goes off the rails, she lacks the momentum and aid required to make s–t happen.

Daniels explains, “It is not the time to do anything which would have tangible results. Especially don’t sign a contract, make a commitment (unless you don’t intend to keep it), buy anything major or long-lasting (groceries are OK but expect to forget something).”

How long does it last?

Beautiful autumn fantasy - maple tree in fall season and full moon with star. Retro style with vintage color tone. Halloween and Thanksgiving in night skies background concept.

Depending on the speed of the moon, void-of-course happens every two to three days. The void of course period can last from a few minutes to, on rare occasions, two days, but typically carries on for a couple of hours and feels a bit like the “Night on Bald Mountain” sequence from Fantasia.

The longer the void-of-course lasts, the more it begins to feel like a mini Mercury retrograde .

To find out when the moon will be void-of-course, reference this calendar. The black, right-facing arrow indicates when the moon enters the void-of-course period.

Now look for the next astrological symbol, followed by a time stamp: This indicates when the moon will enter the next sign, the period between the arrow and the sign is void-of-course.

Ideally, the moon is void-of-course while we sleep, but when it happens during waking hours ,there are ways to make it work for us. Because the mighty moon, orb of intuition, is free balling during the void-of-course period, meditation, divination and inner work can be more accessible.

What to do with the moody moon

To be clear, void-of-course periods are not inherently negative — if anything they are frustratingly neutral. Nothing is going to happen during a void-of-course moon and sometimes, nothing is just what we need. If you are looking for minimal repercussions, are about to drop a difficult piece of information or are trying to fly under the radar, this is the moon for you, folks.

Fun fact, according to Estelle Daniels , astrology-obsessed President Ronald Reagan would strategically plan presidential news conferences that addressed controversial topics during void-moons to avoid unwanted attention.

What does it mean to be born during a void-of-course moon?

Nightly sky with moon and stars

Those born when the moon is void-of-course are served an extra helping of spiderwebs and wet sand to trudge through. Elise Wells, astrologer at Planet Poetica was born while the moon was void-of-course.

“People born when the moon is void of course don’t react to life in predictable ways,” told The Post. “We can think of it as a valve that’s stuck between their brain and energy flow. It’s really hard for them to get on the bus, conform or feign anything remotely normal.”

A Timeline of the History Between Stormy Daniels and Donald Trump

Stormy Daniels seen through a window.

By Matthew Haag and Michael Rothfeld

  • Published May 7, 2024 Updated May 9, 2024

Nearly two decades after Stormy Daniels and Donald J. Trump met in Nevada, they came face to face again in a Lower Manhattan courtroom, where the first criminal trial against a former United States president is taking place.

Here is a timeline of their history:

Mr. Trump attended the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nev., where Wicked Pictures, the production company whose adult films Ms. Daniels starred in, had set up a tent.

According to Ms. Daniels, the two met at the event, then met again for dinner and had consensual sex in a hotel room. She said that Mr. Trump told her that she could appear on his reality television show, “The Apprentice.”

Mr. Trump had been married to his current wife, Melania, for about a year. His youngest son, Barron, had been born several months before. There are photos of Mr. Trump and Ms. Daniels at the tournament, but he has denied having sex with her.

January 2007

Ms. Daniels attended a Trump Vodka launch party at Les Deux, a club in Los Angeles.

Ms. Daniels flew to New York City and met Mr. Trump outside his office on the 26th floor of Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue. Later that month, she attended a Miss USA event in Los Angeles with tickets that she said Mr. Trump had set aside at the box office.

A year after the Lake Tahoe golf tournament, Mr. Trump invited Ms. Daniels to his bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles to discuss her possible appearance on “The Apprentice,” she recalled in a 2018 interview with “60 Minutes.” She never appeared on the show.

Ms. Daniels considered selling her account of sex with Mr. Trump for $15,000 to Bauer Publishing, the publisher of “Life & Style” magazine, The Wall Street Journal reported in March 2018 . Mr. Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, heard about the possible deal and intervened. Ms. Daniels was not paid.

Ms. Daniels took a polygraph test that supported her account of having had sex with Mr. Trump.

October 2011

A gossip website, The Dirty, reported that Ms. Daniels “had sex with Donald after one of his golfing events.”

Mr. Trump secured the Republican Party’s presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

October 2016

After The Washington Post published a recording of Mr. Trump making lewd remarks on the set of “Access Hollywood,” the damage to his campaign gave Ms. Daniels new leverage to sell her story.

Her agent negotiated a deal with the editor of The National Enquirer, but David Pecker, then the tabloid’s publisher, declined to pay.

But Mr. Pecker had agreed to help Mr. Trump suppress bad news, as he testified. So he and Dylan Howard, the editor, tipped off Michael D. Cohen, Mr. Trump’s personal lawyer and fixer. They referred him to Ms. Daniels’s lawyer, Keith Davidson, to negotiate the hush-money deal.

Mr. Davidson and Mr. Cohen then exchanged emails and phone calls about a possible hush-money deal to bury Ms. Daniels’s account. Mr. Howard was also part of the negotiations.

Near the end of the month, Mr. Cohen wired Ms. Daniels $130,000 from a newly formed entity, Essential Consultants.

November 2016

Mr. Trump won the presidential election.

February 2017

The repayment to Mr. Cohen began and continued throughout the year in installments. The payments totaled $420,000, which included a reimbursement for the hush-money deal, a bonus and additional cash for tax considerations.

The Trump Organization recorded the payments as “legal expenses,” citing a legal retainer with Mr. Cohen. Prosecutors say there was no retainer and that recording the payments as “legal expenses” was a falsification of business records — the basis of the criminal charges against Mr. Trump.

January 2018

The Wall Street Journal reported that Ms. Daniels received $130,000 to stay silent about her account of a sexual encounter with Mr. Trump. Mr. Cohen made the payment to her days before the 2016 election.

Ms. Daniels denied having had an affair with Mr. Trump in a statement later in the month. Ms. Daniels later disavowed that statement and said that she felt she had no choice but to sign it.

The F.B.I. executed a search warrant on Mr. Cohen’s Rockefeller Center office and Park Avenue hotel room.

August 2018

Mr. Cohen pleaded guilty in federal court, admitting to having made illegal campaign contributions to support Mr. Trump in 2016, including his payment to Ms. Daniels.

The Manhattan district attorney’s office opened an investigation into the hush-money deals involving Mr. Trump.

Mr. Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury on 34 felony charges of falsifying business records stemming from Ms. Daniels’s hush-money deal.

Ms. Daniels and Mr. Trump met again at a Lower Manhattan courtroom in his criminal trial.

Portland Thorns, North Carolina Courage, Houston Dash reverse course for better or worse in NWSL play

The thorns were among the biggest winners of the weekend, while the courage took a step back.

thorns-3.jpg

The NWSL always loves to keep the audience on its toes, with last week's batch of games proving that early season form might not define each team -- for better or for worse.

The reversal of fortunes has been good news for the Portland Thorns, who are on a five-match winning streak after moving Mike Norris from his role as head coach to one as the technical director , rising from last place to fourth place in the process. There are also signs of life for the Houston Dash, who notched only their second win of the season on Sunday, and NJ/NY Gotham FC, who have scored in four consecutive games after scoring just twice in their first four games. On the flip side, a North Carolina Courage team that looked very convincing at the start of the season has now won just one of the last five, the most recent of which was a 1-0 loss to the Kansas City Current on Sunday.

As the NWSL inches closer to the midway point of the season, here's a look at the weekend that was -- and the body of work some teams are already building.

Resurgent Thorns

What a difference a coaching change makes for the Thorns, who look like a more familiar version of themselves since Rob Gale took the reins a month ago. The team's attacking operation has been the standout feature of their course correction, scoring 15 goals in their last five games, a stretch that includes Saturday's 4-0 win over the Seattle Reign. Sophia Smith has raced up the league's goalscoring charts along the way and now has eight goals this season, three more than Angel City's Claire Emslie in second.

It's a big improvement from the six goals they posted in their first four games and part of a more intentional offensive operation on the Thorns' part. They are taking less shots per game (12.2 since the coaching change, 19.25 beforehand) and have created fewer chances (9.2 now, 15.75 previously) but now average 1.82 expected goals, more than the 1.43 under Norris. The Thorns are also putting way more shots on frame now -- 54.1% of their shots are on target, compared to 33.8% beforehand -- all with a little less possession. The team averaged 52.1% of the ball under Norris but since Gale came in, they are at 48.3%.

Arguably, there's a more notable change for the Thorns in recent weeks -- their defensive stability. The Thorns were the NWSL's high-scoring team last year and are running with much of the same personnel up top this year, suggesting that things would turn in their favor in attack at some point. The 2022 NWSL champions, though, were in the bottom three for goals against in 2023 and started 2024 on a porous note with 10 goals conceded in four games. That number is down to just four in their last five, and Gale has rotated through his options in the back line at a similar rate to Norris earlier this season. The reversal in the defensive performance serves as a vote of confidence in the Thorns' recruitment over the offseason, when they signed the likes of outside backs Marie Muller and Nicole Payne and are running with goalkeeper Shelby Hogan while Bella Bixby is on maternity leave.

Courage's downward turn

For the few weeks of the season, the Courage seemed like the real deal and Sunday's match against the Current was poised to be a first look at a top-of-the-table clash in the NWSL. Though the scoreline was tight in their 1-0 loss, it was one of very few metrics in which the margins were tight.

The possession-preferring Courage held the edge in that category with 54.5% of the ball but were outshot 21-7and lost the expected goals battle 2.89 to 0.33. Though the Courage are not a high-scoring squad and are in the middle of the pack with 12 goals this season, the outing against the Current was easily their worst attacking game of the season. It's a troubling trend because that might be the primary way for Sean Nahas' team to bail themselves out of their most troublesome problem -- their opponents outshoot them more often than not.

The Courage have been outshot in six of their nine games this season, which was not such a worry in their first four matches of the season. While they conceded 38 shots -- the fourth least in the NWSl at the time -- they limited the opponents to just nine shots on goal, the best defensive showing in the league after four games, and let in just three goals. They have slipped considerably since, ranking within the bottom five in those categories, considering 70 shots and 27 shots on target and letting in eight goals. It forces questions of the sustainability of that strategy, especially for a team that likes to possess the ball, especially in a league where the attacking talent is only getting better.

Nielsen's emotional win

The weekend's action closed out with a dramatic finish in Los Angeles, where the Houston Dash picked up their second win of the season with a 1-0 win over Angel City. The hosts were arguably the better side with nearly 60% of the ball and 13 shots to the Dash's eight, but the visitors limited Angel City to just 0.94 expected goals, outdoing them in that category with 1.14.

Paige Nielsen scored in the 98th minute to clinch the three points, delivering a win for a team in sore need of one during a season that has already featured forgettable moments, chief among them the Maria Sanchez trade saga . It's also already been an emotional season for Nielsen, who was surprisingly traded by Angel City to the Dash a month ago.

"My wife, I think she yelled at me every day," Nielsen said in the post-match press conference. "I think I cried every day. I mean, she did choose to marry me and I don't think she understood what it meant in case I got traded but she can work remote so we're figuring things out. Leaving was very hard. I think I cried for two days straight just because we started to build a life in LA and it felt like home but we're also very excited for what Houston can bring us. If that means an affordable house or less traffic -- I want to literally bang my head against the car with the traffic in LA but there's so many positives that can come out of this. I just really needed to process all my feelings because it was very sad."

Nielsen's comments mark the latest chapter in the brewing discontent over trades around the league, a concept familiar to American sports but one that feels at odds with soccer's structure. It could be a topic of conversation for the NWSL's next collective bargaining agreement, which will start in 2027, but NWSL Players Association executive director Meghann Burke has already advocated to get rid of trades without player consent .

Legion Go May 2024 Beta VGA Driver

BenMyers

The VGA driver update has been delayed a bit due to a bug found that needs to be fixed before official release.  I'm putting the driver out as a Beta for those who can't wait another 1-2 weeks for the official release.

Some notes about this driver:

  • The Lenovo FPS counter will not work without an update from Legion Space that should likely coincide with the official VGA driver release.  If the Lenovo FPS counter is a must for you, don't install this driver.
  • AFMF (AMD Fluid Motion Frames) is present in the control panel on Adrenalin but only works (properly) on external monitors.
  • The only known bug with this driver is a panel freeze when clicking on a support link from within Adrenalin, and may or may not be present in the final release.
  • Strongly recommend just waiting until the final/official release of this driver if you can as installation of the beta driver is a bit finnicky.
  • You may need to use DDU to uninstall this if you want to install the official release when available.

Beta Driver Advisory:

  • Beta Status: This driver is in beta, meaning it's still undergoing rigorous testing. It's not a final product and may have bugs or issues that could impact your device's performance.
  • Voluntary Use:  Your decision to participate in this beta is entirely voluntary. Downloading and installing this driver is at your discretion, understanding the inherent risks of using a product in beta.
  • Warranty Assurance: While we offer this beta driver "as-is" and cannot guarantee its functionality or a bug-free experience, please be assured that using it will not void your device's warranty under Lenovo's terms. However, we cannot extend any warranties, expressed or implied, specific to this beta driver.
  • Feedback & Support: We value your input! Share your experiences in the designated forum. While we may not be able to respond to each comment individually, our team will monitor the feedback for insights and improvements. Note: Official support for this driver is not available, but our service team is ready to assist with general queries.
  • Potential Updates: This beta driver is a work in progress. We may issue updates, fixes, or even release a final version in the future. Installing this driver does not automatically enroll you in future updates.
  • Opting Out: If you encounter issues or prefer not to use this beta driver, you can easily revert to the stable, official version available on our website. Instructions for reverting are provided below*

By downloading and installing this test driver, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

Thanks, Ben!

Does the AFMF also only works on external monitors on the coming final version of the VGA drivers?

Thanks Ben M! I know some folks here will greatly appreciate this!

ChickenBaker

Phenomenal! For me, the experience with Legion Go truly is much better thanks to you (and the whole team but especially you:D).

Hope you are doing great both at work and outside,

Thank you:)

Nick C.

Thanks for the update Ben! Appreciate you taking the time to post an update since you were pulled away to work on other tasks. Great to hear from you again and hope all is well!

Mahdi N.

Thank you for all the updates Ben! I still hope to see proper AFMF support on the go display one day

AaronE

Finally, new drivers! Thank you! I've noticed improvement in several games having had the day to try them out. Looking forward to the official release.

Yet again an outdated driver, the latest AMD release is allready at  Adrenalin 24.4.1. You're basically releasing whats the March release as beta with almost exactly the same issues the stock driver comes with.  Don't get me wrong there, but thats a shame for every paying customer. I'll stick with whatever AMD has to offer and keep on sideloading it.

amd adrenaline from MS store dont work for me- after instal it from store and official gpu drivers from lenovo i cant play any game because of lags and drop fps on any game to 20 fps. Why cant install amd software from appx folder on this beta drivers?. why amd fmf dont wokr on legion go screen? it is so bad!

its ***, FMF dosent work on legion screen .. old beta drivers . it is Joke ..never again lenovo

Lenovo is joking with consumers. the idea of buying this console is to play on the console screen, AMD FMF that only works on an external monitor is a joke on gamers!
