Bazo tera towheed ki quat se qavi hay Islam tera des hay to Mustafvi hay

Mr President, my suitable classfellows and respected viewers! Today, the main topic of my discussion is “Defence day of Pakistan”. Today is the 6th of September . We proudly enjoy it as defence day of our sweet motherland. The whole world understands that in 1965, just how the fearless, brave and bold tigers of Pakistan Army smashed the planned, structured and secret violence of the enemy . They decreased all the pride and boldness of the huge Indian Military to ashes. In the words of Iqbal:

Dusht to dashat durya bhi na chchoray hum nay behray zulmat main dora diay ghoray hum nay

Sisters and brothers, Pakistan wasn’t had like a charity. It wasn’t designed to safe property. And it not given in a day. Pakistan is caused by Islamic philosophy . Its groundwork is based on the two-Nation theory of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, in the hard work of Ali Brethren, in the bold action of Molvi Faza ul Haq, in the hopes for Allamh Muhammad Iqbal and lastly in the undefeatable leader ship of Quaide Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Mr President! Throughout the PAKISTAN Movement for the freedom of Indian Muslims, Quaide Azam Managed to get clear that people –Muslims aren’t a minority; we’re a nation based on the definition of the word ” Nation”. Our religion, our culture, our background, our ways of imagining –even each and every move of life is not simply vary with those of the Hindus but their heroes are also our opponents and our heroes are thought opponents by them. When you can’t even feed on jointly –what about one country. therefore, the Quaed cautioned, “we are made the decision, determined and ready to have a nation of our own., We don’t need to get it with regard to protecting a piece of property.Instead we want to safe a laboratory, where we will be self-sufficient and apply our philosophy of Islam”. Dear guys, For accomplishing this ideal, the Muslim nation combined into 1 unit under the flag of Muslim League and also the leadership of Quaide Azam. They decided to carry out or die but to have Pakistan. As a result, our forefathers put their life, sacrificed their rest, expended all their riches–forgot all the things but Pakistan. By the Grace of Allah, Al-Mighty, Pakistan came to exist on the 14th of August, 1947. However Mr. President! Hindus Still ongoing their fake pride of several strength in the thoughts. Therefore, their hearts and minds didn’t admit Pakistan as progressing and advancing. Briefly, these people did their finest and attacked Pakistan in 1965 using their total might in the the dark of night time. Hence, Pakistan had been much existing however its citizens were one-the Muslims. Fort of Islam shown a fortress for the opponent and one each and every top whether property, air or sea; the destiny of Indians were beat, cowardice and humiliation. They neglect to understand that Pakistan Army were the beneficiaries of Khalid bin walleed, Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi,Muhammad bin Qasim, Ghuri and Tipu.

Taighoon ke say main ham pul kar jawan hoiy hain Khanjer hilal ka hay Qumi nishan hamara

Respected audience! Let’s aim together. We shall work effortlessly, succeed in all fields of learning and combat. Protect our country until death. We shall made the flag of Pakistan up stand in the comity of countries. Being Young falcon, our message the Pakistan and Muslim Ummah is:

Aay watan teri faseeloon pah her ik sumnt Hum loog abhi zinda o baidar kharay hain!

Pakistan’s Defence Day: A Tale of Courage and Heroism

defence day speech in english for class 6

In the hardest of times, living nations emerge stronger and more resilient. When the enemy threatened our survival in the 1965 war, the Pakistani people stood steadfast and resolute. To this date, every year on September 6th, Pakistan celebrates Defence Day to honour Pakistan’s successful defence against India, which marked the end of the 1965 war.

The entire world has watched the Pakistani nation’s devotion and tremendous sacrifices in standing firm with its military forces during difficult times. So, on this day, the entire nation honours the Ghazis and Shuhada who fulfilled their responsibilities to defend the motherland.

In addition, the Pakistani armed forces personified the spirit of bravery and selfless sacrifice in defending the country’s territorial boundaries. Thus, we pay homage to the valiant Shuhada who gave their precious lives in order to defend their country.

What Happened on September 6, 1965?

On September 6, 1965, the Indian army crossed Pakistan’s international borders without a formal declaration of war.  They targeted Lahore, Sialkot, and the desert areas of Sindh. The war lasted until September 22, 1965, when both sides agreed to a UN-supervised cease-fire.

The Lahore Offensive

The Indians crossed the international boundary of West Pakistan at 3 a.m. on September 6, 1965, and launched a three-pronged onslaught against Lahore. On the Punjabi plains, there was a fierce tank battle. The domestic Indo-Pak dispute escalated into an international conflict, raising concerns among superpowers.

This action by India was a clear violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and principles of civilized behaviour among countries. In its arrogant aim to conquer the region, India tossed aside its international commitments.

The Indian invasion of Lahore was repulsed, and the invaders suffered terrible losses. With the assistance of the Pakistan Air Force, the Pakistan Army’s ground defence troops were able to delay and then repel the Indian attack.

The Sialkot Invasion

On September 8, exactly two days after the Lahore attack, India launched its main attack against Sialkot, employing its armoured division and other strike formations. The largest tank battles since World War II took place during this seventeen-day conflict.

India suffered from major casualties in this war. Pakistan repelled an invasion of its territory by an enemy four times its size, and the entire nation rose to the occasion with strong resolve.

Every kid, man, and woman contributed to the war effort, whether it was to raise funds, train as civilian guards, or work as nurses in hospitals.

How Did the War Come to an End?

The United Nations led the main diplomatic effort to end the conflict, and a truce was declared on September 23, 1965. The events that took place are as follows:

  • During the Indo-Pak War, the United States stopped military supplies to both sides.
  • The Soviet Union and the United States established a united stance to prevent the war within the subcontinent from escalating into global warfare.
  • China threatened to interfere and promised Pakistan military assistance.
  • Both the Soviet Union and the United States pressured the United Nations to negotiate a rapid ceasefire in order to keep China out of this conflict.

The Soviet Union, which had remained neutral during India’s and Pakistan’s conflict, then acted as a mediator in Tashkent. On December 8, a Soviet government communiqué formally stated that Indian Prime Minister Shastri and Pakistani President Ayyub Khan would meet in Tashkent on January 4, 1966.

The USSR’s efforts at mediation led to the conclusion of the war, and a peace treaty was signed in Tashkent.

The Martyrs of the 1965 War

So many people have lost their lives fighting for our country in this war. However, 11 of the soldiers showed extraordinary heroism and were awarded the Nishan-e-Haider. Major Aziz Bhatti won the highest Nishan-e-Haider award for his exceptional role in defending the Bedian region of Lahore in 1965.

How is Defence Day Celebrated in Pakistan?

Every year, Pakistan celebrates this day and pays tribute to the Shuhada with great zeal and zest. The multiple ways we honour the sacrifices of our brave heroes are as follows:

‘Change of Guards’ Ceremony

The ‘change of guards’ ritual occurs every 6th of September at Mizar-e-Qaid and Iqbal’s mausoleum. The new cadets of the Pakistani Army replace their comrades on guard duty.

The Pakistan Army displays its heaviest weaponry, including tanks, missiles, and aircraft, each year as part of the celebrations on Defence Day. The parades and air shows occur across many cities in Pakistan.

In addition to attending the parades in person, you should watch the Defence Day events in Pakistan live from the comfort of your own home. All major news channels are broadcasting live coverage of the events. To maintain the spirit of sacrifice and patriotism, special documentaries featuring officers who are either active-duty or retired are broadcast.

Pakistan: A More Powerful Nation after the 1965 War

Pakistan emerged from the September 1965 war with India as a strong and self-assured country, proud of itself and its military capabilities. We stood as one nation.

With the assistance of the government, Pakistan’s Armed Forces repulsed India’s naked aggression across the international border. We forced them to accept a truce, return to the negotiating table, and quit each other’s territory. It was certainly the greatest hour of glory, and a day to remember for future generations of civilians and soldiers.

6th September, defence Day of Pakistan

Defence Day is one of the most significant events in the history of Pakistan. Defence Day is celebrated on the 6th of September every year in Pakistan. It was on this day in 1965, that India launched her forces and attacked Pakistan across the international border without a warning or a declaration of war.   This is the day when we pay tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in defending their homeland from the enemy. It was a time when not only our brave soldiers but the entire nation was thrown into the mold of a cohesive unit to defend our homeland, defeating the Indian Army and pulling them back on every front.   Pakistan and India, both countries fought that war for the issue of Kashmir but this issue remained unsolved. A lot of people lost their lives from both countries and a lot of weapons were used. At last on the 6th of September, this war was ended with the support of the United Nations. The day of 6th September starts with special prayers for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan.   The President and Prime Minister give an address. 'Pakistan Armed Forces' displays the latest missiles, tanks, guns, army aviation helicopters, and armament being used by Engineers, Electrical and Mechanical Corps, Army Air Defense, Signals, Army Service Corps and Army Medical Corps live in various places.   By going to specific places everybody is able to watch such functions live. These shows are seen on national television channels too. National songs, special documentaries about 6 September 1965, and the stories of those who were martyred that day are seen on television. The change of guard ceremony takes place at Mazar-e-Quaid, Karachi, where Pakistan Air Force Academy cadets present and take command of the Guard of Honour.   We should all be proud of our powerful armed forces and their constitutional role in protecting our country's physical frontiers and defence. We may face economic challenges but we are secured from external threats by what many around the world consider to be one of Asia's strongest military powers. We pay homage to their sacrifices, as we honour our former war heroes.   But our armed forces not only engages in warfare but also contributes in peacetime to the country. Most frequently armed forces carry out humanitarian operations and provide national relief services in situations such as floods, earthquakes, etc. Many of the institutions of the armed forces, such as their schools, universities, hospitals, etc., which operate under military control, often provide vital services to civilians.   As of the September 1965 war with India, Pakistan emerged as a powerful and self-confident country, proud of itself and its armed forces. It was a nation united in the face of India's threat. For war success, national unity and complete support for the armed forces in the field are necessary. With the help of the government, Pakistan's Armed Forces repelled India's naked aggression across the international border and making it pay a price by taking four times more territory than India and forcing it to accept a truce, return to the negotiating table and vacate each other's territory. It was definitely their finest hour of glory, and a day for future generations to recall the soldiers and civilians of that time.   Each and every Pakistani has this spirit of brotherhood in their hearts, if you dare to hurt one of us, we will all stand together as one country, for we have no predicament of caste, no color of faith among us, we are brothers and sisters standing together as one, under one flag, and when we stand together we can teach you a lesson that you will surely never forget.   Honouring and saluting our national heroes is never tardy. At any time, any school or community event can be arranged to recognize all those uniformed men and women who have served to protect our country. We, too, should raise awareness of their significance and activities on social media. Our discussions and talks with family and friends may also include the subject of the military's significance and constitutional position.

Defense Day is celebrated in Pakistan as a national day to remember the sacrifices made by Pakistani soldiers in defending its borders. The date of 6 September indicates the day in 1965 when Indian troops joined the international border to launch an attack on Pakistani Punjab, in a riposte to Pakistan’s Operation Grand Slam targeting Jammu. While it is officially commemorated as an unprovoked blow attack by India, which was repulsed by the Pakistan Army despite its smaller size and fewer armaments, This narrative has been criticized by Pakistani commentators as representing false history.

September 6 Speech in Urdu

6 september speech in urdu

6 september essay in English

My Countrymen! 6 September 1965 is the day when India attacked Lahore, the city of vivacious and lively people of Pakistan.

When in 1947, undivided India got partitioned into two, the people of Jammu and Kashmir, with 95% Muslim population, proclaimed to join Pakistan but India ignoring the decision of Kashmiri people, entered its army into Kashmir. Upon this, Kashmiris defied this occupation and started struggle against Indian occupation. In some time, they succeeded to regain some area which is known as Azad Kashmir today. Indian Prime Minister at that time Jawahar Lal Nehru got ceasefire on assurance of organizing a referendum in Kashmir. According to the referendum, Kashmiris would be able to use their right of self-determination and choose to merge with Pakistan or India and this will be accepted to both Pakistan and India.

This was a elementary and just action. As when a dispute could be solved without a war, then it is better to stop the war.

But it never happened!

And then Kashmiris started their struggle to get their freedom back. In the wake of freedom struggle by Kashmiris, on September 6 1965, India waged a war on Pakistan. Tanks, cannons attacked Lahore in the darkness of night but self-respecting and lively people of Pakistan, along brave Pakistan Army made this attempt failed.

My countrymen! Pakistan president at that time, General Ayub Khan announced Jehad against Indian aggression. In the morning of September 6, 1965, he said: “India forgot that he challenged a nation who recites La Ilaha Illallah and they will respond befittingly.”

Indian army had entered some areas of Lahore but Pakistani brave soldiers, army men and people made them back off. Pakistan Airforce pilots destroyed 22 Indian jet fighters and gave heavy loss to the enemy.

Many of Pakistani soldiers got martyrdom in which Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed’s name is on the top. Major Khadim Hussain and Lieutenant Iftakhar showed their braveness at Qasoor, Hadhiyara and Wagha.

In memory of those brave fighters of Pakistan, we observe September 6 as Defence Day of Pakistan every year. Each Pakistani youth and child offers Salam to martyrs of Pak Army.
