How to find the GTA Online Phantom Car and reenact Christine
Everything you need to know about the killer car in GTA Online
The GTA Online Phantom Car has been spotted on the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County, striking fear into players as this driverless vehicle stalks its prey. This horror concept will be familiar to anyone that has read Stephen King's book Christine or seen the corresponding film, and for Halloween GTA Online has a faithful reproduction of this killer car driving around town – complete with flaming hood once it goes on the attack. If you want to encounter the GTA Online Phantom Car then there are a number of steps you need to take, and we've got all the details so you can experience the fear of duelling with Christine yourself.
Make sure you also look for the GTA Online UFOs and GTA Online Slashers as part of the Halloween 2021 event.
When and where does the GTA Online Phantom Car appear
The GTA Online Phantom Car can appear at random anywhere on the map, however there are a few requirements you need to meet first to have a chance of encountering it. These are as follows:
- You need to be in Free Roam mode and not inside a building.
- You have to be in the session for at least 16 minutes, i.e. 8 in-game hours.
- You must have at least two players in your session, so solo play is out.
- You can be on foot or in a standard vehicle, but no weaponized vehicles, helicopters etc.
- The in-game time must be between 9pm and 5am.
If all of those points have been met, then the GTA Online Phantom Car may spawn near you at some point – it looks like the Declasse Tornado Custom pictured above, and although it doesn't appear on the minimap you will hear an ominous revving sound when it shows up. If you're driving a vehicle at the time then the killer car will simply stalk your movements, and will eventually go away if you continue driving around without engaging it.
However, if you exit your car or were already on foot then the GTA Online Phantom Car enters full Christine mode, bursting into flames with blood-red headlights and a single goal of running you down. It soaks up a lot of damage before it's destroyed, so either find a good vantage point or keep moving sideways to avoid its turning circle. You can also jump into another vehicle at any point and the flames will extinguish, returning the GTA Online Phantom Car to stalking mode once again and buying you some breathing space.

GTA 5: Phantom Car [Location Guide]
Learn where to find the Phantom Car in GTA 5, which is considered a ghost car that suddenly appears and drives around the Los Santos.
Have you ever come across a car in GTA 5 that appears and then fades ? It has become a hot topic among players worldwide. Discovering more about this incredible car will spark your interest. This enigmatic car is called a “Phantom Car in GTA 5.”
Table of Contents
A Phantom Car in GTA 5 Online is a ghost car that appears and drives around Los Santos and Blaine County streets. This car usually seems to be going with no driver, instilling fear into players as it stalks its prey. So, fasten your seatbelts, and let’s ride to explore the mysterious world of phantom cars in GTA 5!
- A Phantom Car in GTA 5 is a ghost car that appears and drives around Los Santos.
- These cars usually seem to go without a driver, instilling fear into players.
- You will find a phantom car anywhere on the map .
- The car won’t attack a target player; it just follows them.
Specification Of The Phantom Car
When you search the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County, you can find the phantom car in Garnet Red with a Graphite roof. It has whitewall tires with OG Hunnet wheels. And a licensed plate with the “ EAB 211 ” number is its special feature.
Also, it features a unique detuned horn and particular flame sounds and effects. An invisible NPC will drive it to give the appearance of moving on its own.
How Does Phantom Car Target
The Phantom Car won’t attack a target player while in a moving vehicle; it will just follow them around. On the other hand, when they’re on foot, it turns hostile, the hood catches fire, the headlights turn red, and it tries to ram and kill them.
The target player can burst into flames from the car when attacked, and the fire will continue till they die, which differs from the default settings but has no impact on non-target players. Even though the Phantom Car is indestructible, explosive weapons can still defeat it.
Once when target player is killed or defeated, the event is over, and the Phantom Car disappears. If someone traps this car for a long time, it will despawn. There is no collision with a pedestrian. It forced players to enter a building like Los Santos Customs.
Time And Spawn Location Of A Phantom Car In GTA 5
You can find a phantom car anywhere on the map, but you need a few requirements for an encounter, such as being in free-roam mode, not inside a building. A minimum of 16 minutes, or 8 hours in-game, must have passed since you started the game.
Solo play is not permitted; it requires at least two players. You should be in a standard vehicle or on foot. Weaponized vehicles like helicopters are not allowed. In-game time must be from 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
If the preceding circumstances are met, the GTA Online Phantom car may spawn nearby. You will notice a scary revving sound when this happens. If you’re on a drive, the killer car will follow you; if you continue driving without interacting with it, it will soon leave.
The GTA Phantom car goes into full Christine mode as you exit your vehicle or start to walk. It explodes with blood-red headlights, and the primary intention is to run over. Get an excellent vantage point or move to the side to avoid its spinning circle because, before destruction, it gets much damage.
If you enter another vehicle at any time, the flames will disappear. As a result, the GTA Phantom Car will restart its shadowing mode, giving you some breathing room.
How To Customize Your Own Phantom Car In GTA 5?
You can also customize your own phantom car in GTA 5 Online. Benny’s Original Motor Works, where the players may purchase Tornado Custom, offers the base car for just $375,000. Later, you can customize it from the same shop to resemble the Phantom car. The player can modify the Tornado Custom to reach the Phantom Car in the following ways.
Garnet red is the primary color, red is the secondary color, and black is the iridescent color. You can customize the wheel as Benny’s Original, OG Hunnets, Chrome Lip, and Retro White Wall. You may change the trim color in Graphite and wheel color as the default Alloy.
Livery and secondary liver remain unchanged. You can change Red Lights with Xenon and Light Smoke in Windows Smoke, toggled Extras in 12 – Dashboard air freshener, Hydraulics in Ouad Pumps, and Panel Color.
The lack of application options prevents the addition of the flame effect and the invisible driver ability. When the Phantom version of the car debuted last year during the Halloween event, Rockstar Games added those features to GTA Online.
Phantom cars in GTA 5 are a critical element that has drawn the interest of many gamers throughout the years. Even though no players control these cars, they seem to drive themselves. Whatever the reason for Phantom cars in GTA 5, they have affected the culture and community of the game.

The Phantom Car is one of the random events in Grand Theft Auto Online , first introduced in the Los Santos Tuners update, during the Halloween event weeks in 2021 , 2022 and in 2023 .

Description [ ]
Appearing as a special variant of the Tornado Custom , the Phantom Car comes in a Garnet Red paintjob with a Graphite roof , OG Hunnet wheels with whitewall tires, and a license plate that reads "EAB 211". It also has custom flame sounds and effects, with a unique detuned horn . It will be driven by an invisible NPC to give the appearance it is driving on its own.
The Phantom Car will spawn in any free roam session with a minimum of two players, and when at least 15 minutes has passed since the player joined. Once these criteria are met, the Phantom Car will spawn between 9pm and 5am, and choose one of the players as an attack target when they're on foot or in normal vehicles (planes, boats, weaponized vehicles and special vehicles are not allowed).
When a target player is inside a vehicle, the Phantom Car will remain passive and simply follow the player around. However, when they're on foot, it will become aggressive, the hood will catch fire and its headlights will turn red, and it will attempt to ram and kill them. The target player can also catch fire from the car when being attacked, and the fire will keep burning until they have died, which is different from the normal settings, while it has no effect on non-target players. The Phantom Car is almost indestructible, but can be defeated through the use of explosive weapons (e.g. Rocket Launcher or Grenade Launcher ).
The event will be completed and the Phantom Car will disappear after it has been defeated or the target player has been killed. If it is stuck for too long, doesn't encounter an on-foot target, gets forced into an interior such as Los Santos Customs , or other events are triggered, then the car will simply despawn.
Influence [ ]
The Phantom Car is a reference to "Christine", a malevolently possessed 1958 Plymouth Fury that stars in the Stephen King novel and 1983 film of the same name . The way the vehicle catches fire and attempts to run over the player is a reference to a scene in the film where Christine attempts to run over a gang member that has vandalized her while being set ablaze.

GTA 5 actor calls out “garbage” AI chatbot of his voice
GTA 5 star Ned Luke has called out the use of his voice as part of an unofficial and now-removed Grand Theft Auto 5 AI chatbot from WAME.
Published: Jan 15, 2024
Monday, January 15 A WAME statement sent to PCGamesN has been added to the bottom of this article
Ned Luke, the actor who portrays Michael De Santa in GTA 5 , has called out the company WAME for the unlicensed use of his voice as part of a Michael AI chatbot, saying there’s “nothing cool about ripping people off.” Since Luke came out in protest of the chatbot, it looks like WAME has deleted all relevant tweets and the actual chatbot itself from the internet. This follows Grand Theft Auto 5 maker Rockstar Games shutting down an AI mod for the game last year.
The GTA 5 AI mod let you talk to NPCs with your real voice, before Rockstar parent company Take-Two issued a DMCA takedown of the mod and a video showcasing it in the sandbox game . Now, Luke is raising concerns over how AI company WAME has used his voice to make an AI chatbot of Michael from GTA 5 , seemingly without his or Rockstar’s permission.
“This is f***ing bulls*** WAME,” Luke writes on Twitter/X. “Absolutely nothing cool about ripping people off with some lame computer estimation of my voice. Don’t waste your time on this garbage.”
Luke then tagged Rockstar Games and the SAG-AFTRA union, seemingly in an effort to bring the use of his voice and the GTA character to their attention. Since Luke tweeted this last night the chatbot and tweets promoting it have been deleted, but I can confirm that it was freely available to use yesterday, on January 14.
WAME says on its website that “Our vision revolves around harnessing the power of AI to amplify individuality and personal achievements,” adding that it is “committed to creating a platform where every person can explore, express, and elevate their unique identity and potential, supported by our advanced AI technology.”
In an earlier, now-deleted tweet about the Michael De Santa AI chatbot, WAME called him “the protagonist of GTA 4,” after asking if there are “Any GTA fans around here?”
This talk of using voice actors and turning them into AI without consent follows an outcry from videogame voice actors after their union SAG-AFTRA announced a deal for AI voices to be used by developers. Many videogame voice actors claim they weren’t even approached about the deal, which is “opt out” for any that choose so.
In a statement seen by PCGamesN, SAG-AFTRA says that the deal, which only applies to Replica Studios, “is ensuring the ethical application of these technologies in a way that ensures the use of members’ voices occurs only with informed consent.”
I’ve reached out to both WAME and Rockstar Games regarding the use of Luke’s voice for an AI chatbot and will update this article if I receive a response.
Since the initial publication of this article, WAME sent PCGamesN the following statement:
“In light of the recent controversy surrounding the utilization of Mr. Ned Luke’s voice in our application, we at WAME wish to express our profound understanding and concern. This incident has highlighted the intricate interplay between the advancement of AI technology and the ethical and legal realms.
“WAME commits to protecting the rights of voice actors and creators while advancing ethical AI practices. We believe this controversy serves as a pivotal moment in harmonizing AI technology with relevant legal statutes.”
WAME adds that the AI chatbot was removed following Luke’s response and reflects its “commitment to responsible practice and acknowledges the oversight in our initial approach.”

Dave the Diver Among Game of the Year Finalists for Game Developers Choice Awards 2024
Alan wake 2 noted as an honorable mention.
The usual suspects were out in force in the Game Developers Choice Awards 2024 nominees, with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Baldur's Gate 3 leading the way with seven nominees apiece. But there were also some big surprises in the Game of the Year category, with Alan Wake 2 missing out in favor of Dave the Diver and Dredge .
Instead, Alan Wake 2 got the nod as an honorable mention in the list of finalists, which are voted on by game developers throughout the industry. Remedy's sequel wasn't entirely shut out though, earning nods in categories including Best Narrative and Best Visual Art. Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Tears of the Kingdom, COCOON, and Baldur's Gate 3 rounded out the rest of the Game of the Year nominees.
As for Dave the Diver, it's won praise for its unique mix of deep sea exploration and shopkeeping. In our review we called it "wholesome, wonderfully complex, and delightfully hard to put down."
The Game Developers Choice Awards are held every year during the Game Developer's Conference, which takes place in San Francisco in March. Last year's awards saw Elden Ring take home the big prize, with God of War Ragnarok also receiving plenty of recognition.

Is it better to steal or buy supplies in GTA 5 Online?
Always buy supplies if you have purchased all the upgrades. Oh, also this. If you can make 75K faster than it will take you to steal supplies then you should buy supplies (if upgraded business).
Buying supplies is always better unless you have a lot of people to get things done quickly. even then you are probably helping them do theirs too when everyone in the group would be better off buying supplies and then going to steal and sell cars. some people find resupply missions fun though so to each their own., it’s much more efficient to buy supplies and then turn around and do ie, crates, or preps for a casino heist. of course though, this will take a lot of the profit out of your sales, so decide which of these businesses you still want to run after the cost of supplies., buying is more profit because you could be doing other activities that make more money than it cost to buy supplies. also, production pauses while you steal supplies, which slows down how often you fill with product. buy supplies and spend your time doing freeroam missions such as i/e, vip work or crates., you’ll lose money unless you have both upgrades when buying supplies. the upgrades increase your production rate, reduce the amount of supplies used and increase the unit price of your stock. steal supplies until you can afford to upgrade your business., why you should never steal supplies in gta 5 online (stealing vs buying supplies), can you get banned for spending too much money in gta.
In 2020 (now 2021) Rockstar doesn’t ban people who get modded money. They will however reset your characters if they suspect anything. I was never banned for this since the game was released and still have 250 million left after buying everything in the game.
What is a waste of money in GTA Online?
Other nominations for GTA Online’s biggest wastes of money revolve around items that cost a lot but don’t offer much in return. Nightclub owners have mentioned dry ice, an add-on some players didn’t even know existed. Even though it’ll cost you extra, adding the effect to your nightclub won’t make it more popular.
Is stealing supplies worth it GTA?
At the end of the day, it’s up to you which you would rather do: buy supplies and do other stuff to make the money back or spend literally all your time stealing supplies. I do not recommend stealing them if you have more than a couple businesses, and can afford to buy them.
How much is a full supply bunker worth GTA Online?
Fully upgraded Bunker: 1 unit every 7 minutes. Each stock unit is worth GTA$ 7K in Blaine County and 10.5K beyond. Just under 12 hours for a full bunker.
How much does a full supply bunker make?
Also, one full bar of supplies will produce $140K. So five full resupplies are needed to get to $700K. By the way, these numbers assume your bunker has the staff and equipment upgrades.

If you’re looking to further increase your income in GTA Online, consider purchasing the Kosatka submarine and attempting the Cayo Perico Heist. This heist is currently the most popular and lucrative method of making money in the game, and can be completed solo for maximum benefit.

Is it better to buy or steal supplies in GTA 5 reddit?
So long as you have both the staff and equipment upgrades, buying supplies is always more efficient. Time is money and instead of stealing supplies you can be off doing other things. If you want to save money, buy $75k supplies and wait for the first bit to be consumed.
How much money do you need to buy everything in gta5 online?
The current consensus is that it would take $703,307,823 GTA$ to purchase all of the content available in Grand Theft Auto Online. You can view the calculations in Pyrerealm’s video: If you use shark cards to acquire this money the Megalodon shark card is the best value at $99 USD for 8,000,000 GTA$.
Can you sell a full bunker alone?
Yes. There is a small chance that all the stock will be in 1 vehicle (the phantom wedge). With this, it usually is a quick boot to the destination and done. A full bunker is 2 phantom wedge trucks which is really easy to do solo as long as you have an mk2 or helicopter to quickly return to the 2nd truck.
How many people do you need to sell a full bunker?
The Bunker is designed to require 4 people for most full sales. You can get lucky and only have three vehicles, or two Phantom Wedges (easiest). You can switch lobbies to try for a better sale run, but that costs you product each time.
What is the most profitable bunker in GTA 5?
In this regard, the Chumash Bunker emerges as the best option in the game after the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC. Since the highest amount of profit can be earned by selling in Los Santos instead of Blaine County, its proximity to the city is a big advantage.

This is fucking bullshit @wamexyz absolutely nothing cool about ripping people off with some lame computer estimation of my voice. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS GARBAGE... Grand Theft Vocal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ @RockstarGames @rclark98 @sagaftra https://t.co/QKGxygRp7x — Ned Luke (@ned_luke) January 14, 2024

Rumor: Persona 5: The Phantom X May Be Released Outside of China
Some newly emerged evidence indicates that Sega may be planning to release Persona 5: The Phantom X mobile game outside of China.
- A newly emerged website from publisher Perfect World suggests that Persona 5: The Phantom X will release in South Korea.
- The page was spotted mere days after known Atlus insider Midori claimed that Sega is planning to treat Persona 5: The Phantom X to an international release.
- The latest closed beta for the Persona 5 spin-off is scheduled to kick off on January 16, but only in China.
Persona 5: The Phantom X may launch outside of China, as some newly emerged evidence suggests the upcoming mobile game has already been approved for release in South Korea. Atlus's fandom has been calling for Persona 5: The Phantom X to get an international release for nearly a full year by now.
Originally unveiled in March 2023, Persona 5: The Phantom X is a gacha game for PC and mobile devices that ties into the fifth mainline installment in the series. Developed by Black Wings Game Studio, the spin-off is currently slated to release sometime in 2024, published by Chinese entertainment conglomerate Perfect World.
What to Expect From the Persona Franchise in 2024
Perfect World's official website recently added a Korean-language subdomain for Persona 5: The Phantom X , indicating that the game will also be releasing in South Korea. As originally spotted by Atlus insider Midori, the site appeared alongside a Korean YouTube channel dedicated to the game, as well as accompanying pages on Kakao and Naver, two popular social media platforms in South Korea.
This turn of events happened mere days after Midori last claimed that an international release for Persona 5: The Phantom X is on the cards. Taking to Twitter, the insider recently said that Sega is hoping to debut the spin-off globally after launching it in select Far Eastern markets, including China and Japan. Back in summer 2023, Midori said that Persona 5: The Phantom X was already approved for a Japan release . Since then, Sega also decided to launch the game internationally, according to the insider's January 13 update.
Another Persona Mobile Game Could Also Be on the Horizon
The Phantom X may not be the only spin-off that the Japanese gaming giant is planning to debut in the foreseeable future; Midori previously also reported that another Persona project code-named "Asa" was in development at Atlus, with the company supposedly planning to release it as Persona Grand Stage . Described as a team-based tactics game, the fate of that project is currently uncertain, with Midori merely stating that a potential PGS launch would not preclude an international release of The Phantom X .
As for the Persona 5 spin-off at hand, The Phantom X is about to be treated to yet another closed beta period in China, which is scheduled to run from January 16 through January 31. The game itself may hence be released in the Far East come spring 2024. In the meantime, fans also have Persona 3 Reload to look forward to this year, with Atlus previously confirming that the remake of the third installment in the series will launch globally on February 2.
Persona is an RPG franchise developed and published by Atlus, spun off from its larger Megami Tensei franchise. Originally releasing in 1996 under the name Revelations: Persona, the series typically follows a core group of High School students who have access to Personas, physical manifestations of a person's psyche and subconscious, to do battle in combat. Newer games in the franchise, starting with Persona 3, have introduced the idea of Social Links, which lets players further strengthen and evolve Personas based on time spent with their owners outside of dungeons.
