How to Learn Kannada by Yourself in 13 Simple Steps

Introduction.

Kannada first appeared in writing as words in Tamil. Kannada alphabet developed from the Kadamba and Calukya scripts. Kannada is actually an easy language to learn. Approximately 40 million people speak Kannada as their native language. It is recognized as one of the 22 national languages of India. Kannada is an agglutinating language. That means that grammatical functions are expressed by affixes. The language is divided into four regional dialect groups. The dialect indicates where the speakers come from. Additionally, their social class can also be identified based on their language. Kannada is a member of the Dravidian language family. These languages are primarily spoken in southern India. Kannada is not related to the Indo-Aryan languages of northern India.

Learning Kannada:

Staying balanced and improving your time management.

Languages take work. It takes hundreds to thousands of hours to learn a new language to a high level, and after that, you need to maintain the language if you expect to keep it active for long periods of time. So if you have a lot of work, you have to do this. Time management is very much important to learn a new language.  

Use your language on a daily basis

• Learn sentences arranged categorically to search day to day phrases and sentences. Voice assistance is an added feature that helps in saving time and listening to the pronunciation as well. It aids in effective vocabulary, punctuation, and effective language learning.

ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಹಿಂದೂ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಇದನ್ನು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಹಬ್ಬ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಐದು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಬ್ಬವು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ "ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ವಿಜಯ" ವನ್ನು ಸಂಕೇತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ದಿನದ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಬರೆಯಲು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಓದಿ ತಿಳಿಯಿರಿ.

ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಭಾರತ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುವ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಂಗಳಕರವಾದ ಹಿಂದೂ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಜನರು ಬಹಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದು ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಸಹ ಸಮಾಜದ ಎಲ್ಲ ವರ್ಗದ ಜನರು ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಸೇರಿ ಪಟಾಕಿ ಸಿಡಿಸಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ರಾಕ್ಷಸ ರಾಜ ರಾವಣನನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಭಗವಾನ್ ರಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಸೀತೆ, ಸಹೋದರ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಮತ್ತು ಕಟ್ಟಾ ಭಕ್ತ ಹನುಮಂತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು ಮತ್ತು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ವಿಜಯವನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳು, ಅಂಗಡಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಣ್ಣ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ದಿನ ಹೊಸ ಬಟ್ಟೆ, ಉಡುಗೊರೆಗಳು, ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳು, ಕ್ಯಾಂಡಿ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹೊಸ ಅಂಗಡಿಗಳು, ಮನೆಗಳು, ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಲು ಇದು ಅದೃಷ್ಟದ ಸಮಯ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಚಿನ್ನ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಲೋಹಗಳಂತಹ ಗೃಹೋಪಯೋಗಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸಲು ಧನ್ತೇರಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳಕರ ದಿನವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೊಸ ಕಂಪನಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ಈ ದಿನವು ಅನುಕೂಲಕರವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನರಕ ಚತುರ್ದಶಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನು ನರಕಾಸುರ ಎಂಬ ರಾಕ್ಷಸನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದ ದಿನ, ಇದು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ವಿಜಯದ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸಂಜೆ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರಂಗೋಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ದಿಯಾ ದೀಪಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗಣೇಶ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಗಣೇಶನು ಶುಭ ಆರಂಭದ ದೇವರು ಮತ್ತು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯ ದೇವತೆ. ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯಂದು ಜನರು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಪ್ರಬಂಧ 2:

ದೀಪಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬ ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಇದೆ. ಹಿಂದೂ ಪುರಾಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ರಾಕ್ಷಸ ರಾಜ ರಾವಣನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದ ನಂತರ ರಾಮನು ಈ ದಿನ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದನು. ತಮ್ಮ ರಾಜನ ಆಗಮನದ ನಂತರ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು ಬೀದಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ದೀಪಗಳಿಂದ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿದರು. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಿಹಿತಿಂಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲು ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಲು ಇದು ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪ್ರಬಂಧ 3:

ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯು ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜ ರಾಮನು ದುಷ್ಟ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸಿದ ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಂದ ಭವ್ಯವಾದ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮನೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದ ದಿನ ಇದು. ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯಂದು ಪಟಾಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿಡಿಸುವುದು ಬಹಳ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಪಾತ್ರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ಹರಡುವುದು ಈ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ನಡುವೆ ಬಲವಾದ ಬಂಧಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲು ಹಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ದೀಪಾವಳಿಗೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ರಜಾದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಕೆಲಸದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತಿಸದೆ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ರೋಮಾಂಚನಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ದಿನ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಪಟಾಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ನಮಗೆ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದಿರಲು ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಿಹಿತಿಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ಸವಿಯಲು ಹಲವು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಜನರು ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಳಕಿನಿಂದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕ್ಷೇಮ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಬಹಳ ಮುಖ್ಯ. ಇದು ಬಹಳ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಹಿಂದೂ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು "ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಜನರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟವರನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತಾರೆ" ಎಂಬ ನೈತಿಕ ಪಾಠವನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಪ್ರಬಂಧ 4:

ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಮಾನವ ಜೀವನದ ಬಹುಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಂಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಹೋದರತ್ವ, ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವನ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತಹ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಒಂದು. ರಾಕ್ಷಸ ರಾಜ ರಾವಣನೊಂದಿಗಿನ ಭೀಕರ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ತಸಿಕ್ತ ಯುದ್ಧದ ನಂತರ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯ ಜನರು ರಾಜ ರಾಮನ ಆಗಮನವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲು ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಇದನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ವಿಜಯದ ಸಂಕೇತವನ್ನು ಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣವಾದ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯ ಮಾದರಿಗಳ ನೀತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾನವ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳು ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತವಾಗಿವೆ.

* ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಐದು ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿನ್ನ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಶಾಪಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

* ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕೆಲವೆಡೆ ಹಿಂದೂಯೇತರ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವುದು ವಿಶೇಷ.

* ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯಂದು ಮನೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಪುಡಿ, ಹಿಟ್ಟು ಮತ್ತು ಮರಳಿನಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ರಂಗೋಲಿ ಅಲಂಕಾರಗಳು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳಕರವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

* ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲು ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ದೀಪಗಳಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ ದೀಪಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

* ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ದಿನವು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಂದು ರುಚಿಕರವಾದ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಟಾಕಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

* ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಸಿಖ್ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಆರನೇ ಸಿಖ್ ಗುರು ಹರಗೋಬಿಂದ್ ಜೈಲಿನಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನವೆಂದು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಕಳೆದ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಧ ದಿನದ ರಜಾ. ಒಂದು ಪುಟ್ಟ ವಿಷಯ ಯೋಚಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿ. ಇದನ್ನು ಅರ್ಧ ದಿನ ರಜಾ ಅಂತಾರಾ? ಅಥವಾ ಅರ್ಧ ದಿನ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪಾಠಗಳಿದ್ದವೋ? ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ...

ಹಳದಿ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಶಾಲಾ ಬಸ್'ಗಳು ಅರ್ಧ ದಿನದ ಶಾಲೆ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಬಿದ್ದ ನಲಿಯುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊತ್ತು ಅವರವರುಗಳು ಇಳಿಯುವ ಸ್ಟಾಪ್'ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿಸಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಮಾತಾಪಿತೃಗಳು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಚಿತ್ರ ತೆಗೆಯೋದೇನು, ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋದೇನು. ನೋಡೋಕ್ಕೆ ಮಜವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ದಿನವೂ ಫೋಟೋ ತೆಗೀತಾರಾ? ದಿನವೂ ಸೆಲ್ಫಿ ತೊಗೊಳ್ತಾರಾ? ಅಂತ ಅನ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಹಾಗಲ್ಲಾ... ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನ ಅದು!

ಜೀವನದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮಜಲನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವೀರ ಸ್ವಾಗತ. ಖುಷಿಯಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲೇಬೇಕು. ಖಂಡಿತಾ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಅರ್ಥಾತ್ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ರಜಾ ಆರಂಭವಾಯ್ತು ಅಂತ... ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ ತಿಂಗಳ ಮೊದಲವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹೊಸ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷ ಆರಂಭ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ ರಜಾ ಮಜಾ ಅಷ್ಟೇ!

ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯ ಎದುರಿಗೇ ಶಾಲಾ ಬಸ್ ಸ್ಟಾಪ್ ಇರೋದು. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸ್ಟಾಪಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ಒಂದು ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಗುತ್ತೆ. ಮಳೆಗಾಲ, ಚಳಿಗಾಲ ಅಂತ ಕಾಲಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ದಿರುಸುಗಳು, ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರುಗಳು ಶಾಲೆಗೇ ಹೋಗುವಾಗಿನ ಚೈತನ್ಯ, ಸೋಮವಾರ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ನಿದ್ದೆ ಮೊಗ, ಶುಕ್ರವಾರದ ಸಂಜೆಗೆ ನಲಿದಾಡೋ ಮುಖ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೊದಲ ದಿನದ ಖುಷಿ, ಅವರ ಕಡೆಯ ದಿನದ ಸಂತಸ ಹೀಗೆ ಹತ್ತುಹಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅವರುಗಳು ಬಾಯಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳದೆ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕೊಡ್ತಾ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಂದು ಖಂಡುಗ ಇರೋ ವಿಷಯ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಸಾಗಿದರೆ ಒಂದು ಕಾದಂಬರಿಯೇ ಆಗುತ್ತೆ ಬಿಡಿ.

ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ರಜಾ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತು ಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತೆ?

ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಮುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಯಾ ತರಗತಿಯ ಟೀಚರುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಲಾದಷ್ಟು assignments ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಎಲ್ಲರಿಂದಲೂ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾದ assignment ಎಂದರೆ ಫೈನಲ್ exams ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಶೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕು ಅಂಬೋದು. ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಟೀಚರುಗಳು 'ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ರಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವೇನು ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ' (ಅರ್ಥಾತ್ ಕಡೆದು ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಹಾಕಿದಿರಿ) ಎಂಬುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ, ಅಲ್ಲಾ ಹೋಮ್ ವರ್ಕ್.

ಹಾಗಂತ ರಜೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಶಾಲೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗೋವರೆಗೂ ನೀವು ಇತ್ತ ಬಾರದಿರಿ ಅಂತ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ಹತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ರಿಸಲ್ಟ್ ಬೇರೆ ಇರುತ್ತಲ್ಲಾ! ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮುಗಿದಾ ನಂತರ ಅತೀವ ಶ್ರದ್ದೆಯಿಂದ homework ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದರೆ, ರಿಸಲ್ಟ್ ದಿನ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಕ್ಸ್ ಬರುತ್ತೆ ಅನ್ನೋ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೂ ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷ ಇತ್ತು. ಏನು ಲಾಜಿಕ್ ಅಂತ ತಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿ. ಈ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ರೆ ಈಗ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಾಗಿ ಇರಬಹುದಿತ್ತು ಅಂತ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಅನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೆ!

ಈ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮಾತು. ರಜಾ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ಮೊದಲ ದಿನವೇ ಒಂದು ನೋಟ್ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂತ ಬರೆದಿಡೋದು, ಆಗ ರಜಾ ಮುಗಿಯೋ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಬರೆಯಲು ಸಹಾಯಕವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಅತಿಶಯವಾದ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮೂಡಿ, ಮೂರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಬರೆದಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಐದನೇ ದಿನ ಪುಟ ತಿರುವಿ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದೆ, ಕಾಫಿ ಕುಡಿದೆ, ತಿಂಡಿ ತಿಂದೆ, ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿದೆ... ಅದು ಬಿಟ್ರೆ homework ಮಾಡಿದೆ... ಯಪ್ಪಾ ತಂದೆ! ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗ್ತಾನೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಮಾತು. ಇದನ್ನೇನು ಬರೆಯೋದು ಅಂತ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಅದು stop! ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಬರೆಯಲು ಕೂತಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಏನು ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಅಂತ ತಲೆ ಕೆರೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಂದು ತಲೆಗೂದಲು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿರೋದು!

ರಜೆಯ ಮೊದಲ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದುಬಿದ್ದು ಆರು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ಸಬ್ಜೆಕ್ಟ್'ಗಳ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಲಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿ ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಬಿಡೋದು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ. ಆದರೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇರೋದೇ ಇಲ್ಲಿ! ಏಳನೇ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಮಾಡೋಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇರೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಇರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. "ಒಂದೊಂದು paper ಅನ್ನು ಉಸಿರು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದೇ ದಿನ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾದರೂ ಯಾಕೆ? ನಿಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದಿತ್ತು ತಾನೇ?" ಅಂತ ಅಮ್ಮನಿಂದ ಬೈಗುಳ.

ಫಾಕ್ಟರಿಯಿಂದ ಅಪ್ಪ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರೋದನ್ನೇ ಕಾದಿದ್ದು, ಸೈಕಲ್ ತೊಗೊಂಡ್ ಬೀದಿ ಬೀದಿ ರೌಂಡ್ ಹೊಡೀತಿದ್ದೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳಕು ತೋರಲು ಹೋಗೋ ಮುನ್ನ ಆ ದಿನಕರ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖ ಕಪ್ಪಾಗಿಸಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಅಂದು ಕಪ್ಪಾದ ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್'ನ ಹೊಗೆಯ ಲೇಪನ ಹತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಕರಗಿಲ್ಲ!

ಕತ್ತಲಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಏನು? ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿ bookclub'ನಿಂದ ಅಪ್ಪ ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಂಜೆ ವಾರ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಹೊಸತು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಸಾರಿ ಹಳೆಯದು. ಹೊಸ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಟೆನ್ಷನ್ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ, ಅವು ಒಂದೇ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ವಾಪಸಾಗಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಹೆಚ್ಚು ತಡವಾಗಿ ಅವು ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಎರಡು ಮೂರು ದಿನ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ವಾಪಸ್ ಕೊಡುವಷ್ಟು ಅನುಕೂಲ ಇತ್ತು. ಚಂದಮಾಮ, ಸುಧಾ, ಕಸ್ತೂರಿ, ಪ್ರಜಾಮತ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳ ಒಡನಾಟ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದ್ದೇ ಅಂದು.

ಶಾಲೆಯ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ್ದು ಮಾತ್ರ ಓದಲು ಸಮಯ ಇರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಸಮಯಕ್ಕಿಂತಾ, ಓದಿನ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮ್ಯಾಗಜಿನ್ ಹಿಡುದುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಬೈಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಆ magazines'ಗಳ ಪುಟಗಳ ಒಂದಕ್ಷರ ಬಿಡದೆ ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಪ್ರಜಾವಾಣಿ ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಕೂಡ. ಮೊದಲು ಓದೋದೇ ಕೊನೆಯ ಪುಟ. ಮೊದಲ ಪುಟ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಢಮ್ ಅಂದಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ. ಬೇರೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯದ ವಿಷಯ ತಲೆ ಹೋಗ್ತಿರ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಚಾಮರಾಜಪೇಟೆಯ ನಮ್ಮತ್ತೆಯ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದರೆ ಎದ್ವಾತದ್ವಾ ಖುಷಿ. ಅವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡಪ್ರಭ ತರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಮನೆಯ ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ, ಅತ್ತೆಯ ಕೈ ಕಾಫಿಯಾದ ಕೂಡಲೇ, ಶುಕ್ರವಾರದ ಎಡಿಷನ್ ಕನ್ನಡಪ್ರಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ. ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ವಿಷಯದ ಸಂತೆಯಾದ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರದ ಸಂಚಿಕೆ ಬಲೇ ಮಜಾ. ಆ ನಂತರ ಸುಧಾ, ಪ್ರಜಾಮತ, ರೂಪತಾರಾ, ಮಯೂರ... ಒಂದೇ ಎರಡೇ... ಓದಿನ ಮಧ್ಯೆಯೇ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ತಿಂಡಿ ತಿನ್ನಾಟ, ಹಿರಿಯರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅನ್ಯಮನಸ್ಕನಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತರ. ಅಂದರೆ, ಒಬ್ಬರ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಬಾರದು ಅಂತಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗೋ ಸಮಯ ಬಂದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಮುಗಿಯದೆ ಹೋದರೇ ಎಂಬ ಆತಂಕ.

ಹೀಗೇ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತ ಅಮ್ಮನೊಡನೆ ಹೋದಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓದೋಕ್ಕೆ ಏನಿದೆ ಅಂತಲೇ ನೋಡೋದು. ಅವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಬಾರಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಲೇ ಹಿಂದೇಟು. ಒಬ್ಬರು ಬಂಧುಗಳಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಲೇ ಹಿಂಸೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅವರು ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಓದಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಅಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು ಎಂದರೆ ಮುಗೀತು. ಅವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿಸೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಭಗೀರಥನಿಗೂ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಮನೆ ಧೂಳಾಗುತ್ತೆ ಅಂತ ಅವರುಗಳ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ.

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಮಾಸ್ತಿಕಟ್ಟೆ'ಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ರಜಾಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ಜಾಗ ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಬೇರೇನೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನನಗೆ ಈ ಹೊರಗಿನ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಪಂಚ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗೇ ಕಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಉಡುಪಿ, ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ದರ್ಶನವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರದ್ದೋ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆವು. ತೋಟ ಎಂದರೆ ಏನು ಅಂತ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ನೋಡಿದ್ದು. ಅದ್ಯಾವ ಪರಿ ಹಣ್ಣು, ಕಾಯಿ, ಹೂವಿನ ಮರಗಿಡಗಳು! ಅಬ್ಬಬ್ಬಾ! ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಅದಮ್ಯ ಆಸೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಇದ್ದ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಅನುಭವಗಳು ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟಿತ್ತು. 'ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ' ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಸಕತ್ತಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕು ಅಂತಿದ್ದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಆ ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಬರೆಯೋ homework ಕೊಡಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ!

ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೋ ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೂವಿನ ಅಥವಾ ಮಾವಿನ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಸುವಾಸನೆ ಬಡಿದರೆ, ಅಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೋ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಗಲಿನ ಬಿಸಿಲಲ್ಲೇ ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ರಜೆಯ ದಿನಗಳು ನೆನಪಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ರಜೆಯನ್ನು vacation ಅಂತಲೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ ಅಂತ ಗೊತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಶಿಬಿರಗಳು ಇವೆ ಅಂತ ಅರಿವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ರಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಬೇಕು ಅಂತ ಗೊತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಾಲ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ (waste) ಎಂದೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
