1. निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों में से किसी एक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 40 – 60 शब्दों में दीजिए।     2

( क ) ‘ आह्वान ‘ कविता में कवी हमें देश के विकास के लिए प्रेरित कर रहा है। देश के विकास में आप स्वयं को किस भूमिका में पाते हैं टिप्पणी लिखिए। ( पाठ – 4 देखें ) .

उत्तर: आहवान कविता के माध्यम से राष्ट्रकवि मैथिलि शरण गुप्त देश की निराश जनता से देश के विकाश के लिए प्रेरित कर रहे है | कवी सिर्फ देश को आजाद ही नहीं करना चाहते बल्कि वे चाहते है कि देश की सभी मतों और सम्प्रदायों में एकता हो और देश आगे बढ़ाते रहे |

यह कविता वर्तमान समय में भी हमें देश में एकता और देश की विकाश में हम सबका योगदान के लिए प्रेरित करती है. यस कविता हमें सिखाती है की हमें लगातार अपने लक्ष्य की और आगे बढ़ना चाहिए और कभी हताश नहीं होना चाहिए |

( ख ) ‘ चंद्रगहना से लौटती बेर ‘ कविता में चटुल मछली ‘ का वर्णन किया गया है। इसकी कौन – सी विशेषताएं हैं जिनके कारण यह ‘ चटुल ‘ है। जीवन से प्रासंगिक उदाहरण देकर स्पष्ट कीजिए। ( पाठ – 8 देखें )

2. निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों में से किसी एक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 40 – 60 शब्दों में दीजिए।     2 

( क ) ‘ हम जैसी संगति रखते हैं , वैसे ही बन जाते हैं। ‘ सुखी राजकुमार ‘ कहानी के आधार पर इस कथन को स्पष्ट करें। ( पाठ – 13 देखें ) .

उत्तर: सुखी राजकुमार एक ऐसे राजकुमार की कहानी है जो आनंद महल में रहता है और जिसका दुःख से कभी सामना नहीं हुआ क्योकि उसके चारो और केवल वैभव और ऐश्वर्य था | लेकिन मरणोपरांत जब उसकी मूर्ति बनाई गए तो मूर्ति रूप के खड़े खड़े उसका हृदय परिवर्तन होने लगा और वह दुसरो की दुःख और भावनाओ को समझने लगा |

राजकुमार की मूर्ति सोने की थी जिसकी वजह से एक गौरैया उसे अपन आश्रय स्थल बनाती है | राजकुमार के चहरे का भोलापन और आँखों के आँसू को देखकर उसमे थोड़ी दया पैदा होती है | धीरे धीरे राजकुमार के गुणों – दया, करुणा, प्रेम और सहानुभूति को देखकर गौरैया सदा के लिए राजकुमार की मूर्ति को अपना आश्रय बना लेती है | इसलिए कहा जाता है कि ‘हम जैसी संगति रखते हैं, वैसे ही बन जाते हैं।

( ख ) राबर्ट नर्सिंग होम में मदर टेरेसा द्वारा रोगी को दिए गए आदेश एक माँ द्वारा दिए गए आदेश जैसे प्रतीत होते हैं। इस तरह के आदेश की विशिष्टता लिखिए। ( पाठ – 5 देखें ) 

3. निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों में से किसी एक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 40 – 60 शब्दों में दीजिए। , ( क ) ‘ बीती विभावरी जाग री ‘ कविता में जागरण का आह्वान है। वर्तमान स्थिति में हमें किन रूपों में जाग्रत होने की आवश्यकता है स्पष्ट कीजिए। ( पाठ -17 देखें ) , ( ख ) ‘ हमारा स्वास्थ्य हमारी स्वच्छता संबंधी आदतों से प्रत्यक्ष रूप से संबंधित है ‘ । ‘ अपना पराया ‘ पाठ के संदर्भ में स्पष्ट कीजिए।  .

उत्तर: हमारे शरीर की अपने-पराए की पहचान करने की शक्ति असीमित है। इसी शक्ति के कारण यह शरीर बाहरी वातावरण से हमारी सुरक्षा करता है। यद्यपि हमारा शरीर आश्चर्यजनक रूप से अपने बलबूते ही अपनी सुरक्षा का प्रयत्न करता है, फिर भी हमें रोगों से लड़ने के लिए इन प्रतिरक्षा-व्यवस्थाओं पर ही निर्भर नहीं रहना चाहिए।

मनुष्य के पास चूँकि मस्तिष्क है, जिससे उसने न सिर्फ अपने शरीर के सामर्थ्य को पहचान लिया है और रोगों की पहचान कर ली है: बल्कि उसने अपने शरीर की सीमाओं को भी पहचाना है, उसके सामर्थ्य को बढ़ाने के तरीके भी विकसित किए हैं और रोगों का उपचार करना भी सीखा है। अतः,

आयुर्विज्ञान-संबंधी उपलब्धियों यानी चिकित्सा का भी भरपूर उपयोग करना चाहिए। रोग के लक्षण महसूस होते ही चिकित्सक से परामर्श लेना चाहिए, उसके निर्देशानुसार नियमित रूप से दवाएँ खानी चाहिए और परहेज़ करना चाहिए।

अंततः, यह कहना ही उचित होगा कि मनुष्य को अपने मन और शरीर को दृढ़ बनाये रखने के उपाय लगातार करते रहना चाहिए। एक पुरानी कहावत है कि ‘तन सुखी तो मन सुखी, पहला सुख नीरोगी काया।’ जहाँ यह सही है कि स्वस्थ शरीर में स्वस्थ मस्तिष्क निवास करता है, वहीं यह कहना भी उचित होगा कि स्वस्थ मन शरीर को भी नीरोग बनाये रखने में मददगार होता है।

मन का स्वास्थ्य तभी बना रह सकता है, जब हम और हमारे आसपास के लोग; वातावरण और खाद्य-पदार्थ स्वच्छ, असंक्रमित और आनंददायी हों। इसलिए, ‘सबकी मुक्ति में अपनी मुक्ति’ की युक्ति ही सबसे कारगर है। उपरोक्त व्याख्यान के आधार पर हम कह सकते है कि ‘हमारा स्वास्थ्य हमारी स्वच्छता संबंधी आदतों से प्रत्यक्ष रूप से संबंधित है’।

4. निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों में से किसी एक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 100 – 150 शब्दों में दीजिए।    4 

( क ) आपने ‘ आज़ादी ‘ कविता पढ़ी। आजाद होकर हम अपने उत्तरदायित्वों से मुक्त हो जाते हैं या हमारे उत्तरदायित्व बढ़ जाते हैं तर्क सहित अपना मत व्यक्त कीजिए। ( पाठ – 7 देखें ) .

उत्तर: हमारे समाज में आज़ादी को अनेक संदर्भों में देखा जाता है। कभी—कभी उन्मुक्तता, उच्छृंखलता, मनमर्जी, सैर—सपाटे, गैर—जिम्मेदारी, तात्कालिक तथा सीमित लाभ और कर्महीनता को ही आज़ादी मान लिया जाता है। ये सारे संदर्भ व्यक्तिगत और मामूली आनंद से प्रेरित हैं। आज़ादी का अर्थ ज़िम्मेदारी का भाव भी लिए है, जबकि उपर्युक्त संदर्भ गैर जिम्मेदारी लिए हुए हैं। l

अधिकान्श लोग बेकार की उछल कुद, उन्मुक्तता, स्वछन्दता को आजादी मान लेते है | इधर उधर घुमना, बेकार के खयाली पुलाव और जो चाहे वो करने क भाव को भी कुछ लोग आजादी समजते है |

कविता के अनुसार अपने अधिकारो क उपभोग कर्ण ही सिर्फ़् आजादी नही है बल्कि समाज और देश के प्रति अपने उत्तरदायित्वो का पालन करना भी आजादी का एक रूप है | अर्थात हम कह सकते है कि आजाद होने के बाद हम मुक्त नहीं हो जाते अपितु हमारा उत्तरदायित्व बढ़ जाता है |

( ख ) आपने ‘ इसे जगाओ ‘ कविता पढ़ी। कविता के संदर्भ में स्पष्ट कीजिए कि ‘ प्रकृति एक उत्कृष्ट शिक्षक है ‘ । ( पाठ -12 देखें ) 

5. निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों में से किसी एक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 100 – 150 शब्दों में दीजिए।   4, ( क ) देश की उन्नति के लिए सुदृढ़ न्याय व्यवस्था और सुचारू प्रशासन अत्यंत आवश्यक हैं। ‘ अंधेर नगरी ‘ पाठ के संदर्भ में इस कथन की समीक्षा कीजिए। ( पाठ -15 देखें ) , ( ख ) विश्व में परस्पर शांति के लिए अहिंसा परम आवश्यक है। ‘ नाखून क्यों बढ़ते हैं ‘ पाठ के आधार पर स्पष्ट कीजिए। ( पाठ – 18 देखें ) .

उत्तर: प्राणिविज्ञानियों ने कहा है कि मानव शरीर के जिन अंगों की लम्बे समय से जरूरत नहीं पड़ी वे अंग धीरे-धीरे झड़ जाते हैं, जैसे एक दिन आदमी की पूँछ झड़ गई। प्राणिविज्ञानियों की इस स्थापना के आधार पर ‘नाखून क्यों बढ़ते हैं?’ के बारे में लेखक एक सुखद कल्पना करता है। उसे मानव पर भरोसा है।

वह मानता है कि मानव एक दिन अपनी सभी बुराइयाँ त्याग देगा। उसे लगता है कि किसी दिन मनुष्य के नाखून बढ़ने बंद हो जाएँगे, तब शायद उसके अंदर की पशुता भी समाप्त हो जाएगी। उस दिन सारी दुनिया में शांति और प्रेम का साम्राज्य होगा। तब मनुष्य अस्त्रों का निर्माण बंद

कर देगा। पर यह है एक संभावना, ऐसा होगा या नहीं, इस बारे में कोई निश्चित घोषणा नहीं की जा सकती। जब तक ऐसा नहीं होता, तब तक यह आवश्यक है कि हम बच्चों को समझा दें कि वे अपने नाखून अवश्य काटते रहें और ये समझकर कि वे अंदर की पशुता का सिर काटकर उसे आगे बढ़ने से रोक सकें।

द्विवेदी जी ने कहा है कि विश्व की शांति के लिए आवश्यक है कि अस्त्र-शस्त्रों के बढ़ावे को रोका जाए, क्योंकि अगर अस्त्र होंगे तो लडाई भी अवश्य होगी। मानवता की विजय के लिए अस्त्र-शस्त्र के निर्माण को रोकना होगा। आज मनुष्य जाति के पास जो भयानक बम हैं उनके प्रयोग से सम्पूर्ण मानवता लुंज-पुंज अर्थात् अपाहिज़ हो जाएगी। मनुष्य के मन में जो नफरत का जहर भरा है वह उसे तो जलाता ही है दूसरों का भी विनाश करता है।

इसलिए अपने ऊपर संयम रखते हुए हमें इस नफरत पर, घृणा पर काबू पाना है। दूसरों के विचारों, धर्मो, संस्कृतियों, रीति-रिवाजों आदि का हमें सम्मान करना चाहिए। हमारी भावी पीढ़ी, हमारे नन्हें दोस्तों के लिए यह जानना बहुत आवश्यक है कि दूसरों से छीनी हुई वस्तुएँ कभी स्थायी नहीं होती।

6. नीचे दी गई परियोजनाओं में से कोई एक परियोजना तैयार कीजिए।    6

( क ) भारत में प्रचलित सामान्य , कम घातक , अति घातक रोगों , उनके कारणों , लक्षणों और बचाव के उपायों पर एक फाइल तैयार कीजिए और चित्रों का भी प्रयोग कीजिए।  , ( ख ) ‘ अखबार की दुनिया ‘ पाठ में दिए गए समाचारों के वर्गीकरण के आधार पर वर्ष 2020 – 21 के प्रमुख समाचार चित्र सहित एकत्रित कीजिए और एक फाइल तैयार कीजिए।.

Marks: 100 1 Read the following passage and answer the questions. If asked, ‘What are health decisions?’, most of us would answer in terms of hospitals, doctors and pills. Yet we are all making a whole range of decisions about our health which go beyond this limited area; for example, whether or not to smoke, exercise, wear a seat belt, drive a motorbike, drink alcohol regularly. The way we reach decisions and form attitudes about our health are only just beginning to be understood. The main paradox is why people consistently do things which are known to be very hazardous. Two good examples of this are smoking and not wearing seat belts: addiction helps keep smokers smoking; and whether to wear a seat belt is only partly affected by safety considerations. Taken together, both these examples underline elements of how people reach decisions about their health. Understanding this process is crucial. We can then more effectively change public attitudes to hazardous, voluntary activities like smoking. Smokers run double the risk of contracting heart disease, several times lung cancer, as compared to non-smokers. Despite extensive press campaigns (especially in the past 20 years), which have regularly told smokers and car drivers the grave risks they are running, the number of smokers and seat belt wearers has remained much the same. Although the numbers of deaths from road accidents and smoking are well publicized, they have aroused little public interest. If we give smokers the real figures, will it alter their views on the dangers of smoking? Unfortunately not. Many of the ‘real figures’ are in the form of probabilistic estimates, and evidence shows that people are very bad at processing and understanding this kind of information. The kind of information that tends to be relied on both by the smoker and seat belt non-wearer is anecdotal, based on personal experiences. All smokers seem to have an Uncle or an Auntie who has been smoking cigarettes since they were twelve, lived to 90, and died because they fell down the stairs. And if they don’t have such an aunt or uncle, they are certain to have heard of someone who has. Similarly, many motorists seem to have heard of people who would have been killed if they had been wearing seat belts. Reliance on this kind of evidence and not being able to cope with ‘probabilistic’ data form the two main foundation stones of people’s assessment of risk. A third is reliance on press-publicised danger and causes of death. American psychologists have shown that people overestimate the frequency (and therefore the danger) of the dramatic causes of death (like aeroplane crashes) and underestimate the undramatic, unpublicized killers (like smoking) which actually take a greater toll of life. 4 What is needed is some way of changing people’s evaluations and attitudes to the risks of certain activities like smoking. What can be done? The ‘rational’ approach of giving people the ‘facts and figures’ seems ineffective. But evidence shows that when people are frightened, they are more likely to change their estimates of the dangers involved in smoking or not wearing seat belts. Press and television can do this very cost-effectively. Programmes like Dying for a Fag (a Thames TV programme in April 1975) vividly showed the health hazards of smoking and may have increased the chances of people stopping smoking permanently. However, the shock effects of programmes like this can be too severe, resulting in little or no change in attitudes or behaviour. Or the effects may be swamped by the more pervasive effect of personal contact and other TV programmes which show people smoking. So a mass-media approach may work. But it needs to be carefully controlled. Overall, the new awareness of the problem of health decisions and behaviour is at least a more hopeful sign for the future.
