If I Were A Bird Essay - 100, 200, 500 Words

  • Essay on if I Were a Bird -

If you asked me what my perfect afterlife would be, I would love to be a bird. I've always wished I could soar far into the air. I have always been in awe of the many beautiful bird species that soar above us. It is so wonderful to see birds flying over the sky in the sunlight. Here are a few sample essays on ‘If I were a bird’ .

If I Were A Bird Essay - 100, 200, 500 Words

Everybody wants to live a life free of all limitations . At some point or another, we all desire to live peacefully and away from materialistic things. We are required to behave in accordance with social norms and uphold a social life because we are humans. While we are required to abide by certain social rules, birds are free. The best example of a creature that understands freedom is a bird. Because of this, the dove is a symbol of liberation. If I were a bird, I would enjoy soaring high until sunset so I could watch the sun sink into the water. I would adore jumping into the ocean, touching the water, and catching fish in rivers.

When I think about how amazing it is for birds to be able to fly so high into the sky, I sometimes think about how they must feel like as living entities, in this world. It would strike any human thinker, and it also strikes me that birds have a talent for communicating with one another and the capacity to comprehend weather changes. I do often consider what my actions and feelings would be if I were a bird. I occasionally ponder which bird I would like to be in the realms of fantasy.

One day, if I were a bird with two powerful wings, I could fly to the highest of the skies and see many strange things that I can't even begin to imagine right now. I would have travelled to a foreign country and migrated there for a few months along with other species of birds that are uncommon in my home country, just as an aeroplane flies to far-off places and migratory birds cross oceans and mountains every year to reach far-off lands to temporarily settle there. I can’t imagine how it would feel like—to have so much liberty that you can fly anywhere you want without having to think much. I have no doubt that I would have found that to be an odd but wonderful experience.

Birds are incredibly distinctive creatures with defining characteristics that they all share. They share features like two legs, wings, and feathers . Furthermore, all birds lay eggs and have warm blood. They are extremely significant to our environment and come in many different breeds.

Importance of Birds

Depending on the species, birds can range in size from 2 inches to 2.75 metres—take the smallest, the bee hummingbird, and the largest, the ostrich. Birds first appeared 160 million years ago . Birds come in many different varieties, each with its own special qualities. Penguins, for example, are unable to fly. Also, there are intelligent birds such as parrots and corvids .

We also have peacocks, which are elegant and represent rain and pleasant weather. Then there are the vultures and bats. Birds are highly intuitive and highly connected to their environment.

They can forecast weather, and some of them are kept close to coal mines to help prevent mine explosions. They enjoy singing and are very sociable. Birds like to fly around freely and without restrictions.

My Favourite Bird

The parrot is one of my favourite birds . It is a vibrant bird that can be found all over the world. It has a wide range of colours, sizes, and shapes. Vibrant colours make parrots a popular pet.

While some have a single, vivid colour, others have a rainbow of hues. The majority of what parrots eat are seeds, nuts, and fruits, and they are typically small to medium in size. The species of parrot determines how long they live.

While smaller birds like love birds only live for about 15 years, larger birds like cockatoos and macaws live for 80 years . Parrots are actually quite intelligent. Because of their capacity to mimic human speech, they are frequently kept as pets. As a result, they are the most sought-after species of bird for commercial use. People are making efforts to ensure that parrots receive good care all over the world. They are regarded as sacred in many cultures.

Because parrots are highly intelligent, it's best to let them live in the wild without being caged. My parrot, Shiro, was never caged when I was younger. It used to follow me everywhere I went and never flew off. I have fond memories with him. There is no other type of bird that I like more than a parrot.

Saving Birds

The ecological balance is being disrupted by hunting, poaching, and habitat destruction, which are causing many species of birds to go extinct. As a result of pollution and the advancement of science and technology, the number of aquatic birds like swans, ducks, and others is also drastically decreasing. Therefore, it is up to us all to take the necessary steps to help the birds survive and prevent their extinction. In addition, the government should also be aware of these and pass certain rules and regulations to protect birds from extinction. We all need to protect birds because they are essential to the health and balance of our ecosystem.

English Summary

Short essay on If I were a Bird in English for Students and Children

Everyone loves to dream big. Some dreams are possible to be made true. Some are based on a complete imagination. I always had a dream to fly high above the sky. I always had admired different kinds of beautiful birds who fly freely above us. They look so happy and carefree.

I feel if I were a bird , I could also fly above my house and above this place. I could fly above the buildings, mountains and hills and look down on people’s houses and all through the city. My school would look pretty from high above. I could look at my friends who play on the school playground.

I wish to be a bird so that I could fly above the sky where the Planes fly. I would be able to wave my hands pointing the pilot. If I were a bird I could also fly to the top of the big mango tree nearby our fishery. I could also fly and dive into the nearby lake and take a cool shower.

My dream to be a bird got developed when I saw a group of birds talking to each other in their own language. I could not understand their language yet I felt good listening to the sounds of their speeches. I felt free when I say them flying like planes high above the sky away from everyone’s reach.

We all want to be free. We wish to be free of all limitations and constraints in life. Looking at the birds, I believe, is the best way to understand freedom. If I were a bird, I would like to dwell in the woods and be hidden from humans.  I would reach for the beautiful sky and soar as high as I could. I have always wondered about sleeping on the clouds some day, though I know it is not humanly possible. So, if I got to be a bird, even for a day, I would fly into the clouds and snooze there for a while. I would fly across the sky, enjoy the evening colours and return to my nest by night.

We all want to be free from all the restrictions of our lives. At some point or the other, we all want to stay away from all materialistic things and live peacefully. Being humans, we are bound to behave as per society and maintain a social life. We have some social constraints and are bound to follow them, but birds are free. Birds are the best example of understanding freedom. That is why the dove is the symbol of freedom. If I were a bird, I would love to fly high in the bright sky till sunset and see the sun drowning in the sea. I would love to jump and touch the sea and catch fish from the rivers. I would hide from the prying eyes and eat fruits from various trees. I would love to fly with my flock and take a nap in the trees.

We all wish to be free of life’s constraints. We all aspire to be free of all materialistic goods and live in peace at some time in our lives. As humans, we are obligated to conform to social norms and maintain a social life. We are controlled by social constraints and must adhere to them, whereas birds are not. Birds are the best example of how freedom can be explained. Therefore, the dove is seen as a symbol of liberty. It is the true freedom of a bird to fly around the sky and live its own life. When I think what it would be like if I get to be a bird, I think I would fly high in the beautiful sky till the sun sets, then watch the sun sink into the sea. I would like to jump into the sea and catch fish in the river. I would like to eat from various trees. I will fly as high as possible and take a nap in the clouds. I would fly back to my home with my group during the sunset and admire the night sky.

We all want to be as free as a bird. We might earn lakhs of money, but at some point in our lives, we all crave peace and serenity. Being humans, we all are bound by some societal constraints. It is like taming a bird and keeping it inside a cage. Birds love to fly, collect their own food and grains, sleep in the woods, and enjoy sunsets. They are the best way to understand what freedom feels like. If I ever get to be a bird, I shall not be dependent on anyone for my food and living. I would collect the twigs and build a small nest for myself and live peacefully inside that. I would build my nest at a great height to keep myself and my family safe. I shall gather my own food and enjoy them with my friends. I would love to fly under the bright sky and wait until the sun sinks into the sea. I would love to jump into the sea and play with the high waves.  Just like the proverb, ‘Birds of a feather flock together’, I would fly along with my flock far and wide. I would enjoy every single moment I spend amidst the fluffy clouds.

What would I do if I were a bird?

If I were a bird, I would love to fly high in the beautiful sky, enjoy the rain, enjoy the beauty of nature closely and embrace it inside my wings.

What would you do if you could fly like a bird?

If I could fly like a bird, I would travel around the Earth and stay away from the materialistic world.

The real world is dull, boring, and stressful. If we want to get out of this easily, then we have only imagination through which we can live in our dream world. And through this, we will be able to enjoy the beauty of the natural world.

But these are all just imagination. sometimes I feel jealous after seeing the freedom of birds. I also start thinking that if I were a bird , I would have lovely wings and I can also fly in the open sky.

If I were a bird , I would build my nest on the branches of my favorite trees. I do not have to get up in the morning and go to school with a bag full of books so that I do not have to complete homework. And I do not need to be afraid of any kind of examination.

If I was a bird , no rules law would apply to me. I can cross the border from one country to another very easily, for this, I do not need money, ticket, papers, etc. Like other birds, I too would spend my life in the lap of nature.

If I were a bird , there would not be any kind of tension, evil, corruption, dishonesty, etc . in my world. I played with the winds free from pollution in the open sky and kept flying away in the sky with singing the song.

When I was flying in the sky, I would be very happy to see the mountains, waterfalls, forests, humans, etc . and with that, I would feel myself the best.

But all this is only my own imagination. And we will not be able to get out of the evil of this world just by imagining.

We will all have to work together to eradicate all the evils of this world and we have to keep our mother earth as clean and beautiful as the sky so that we too can spend our lives happily like birds .

If I were a Bird Essay

It was man’s desire to fly in the sky that made him manufacture airplanes.

However, I have a different kind of longing. It is to become a real bird. Since this longing cannot actually be fulfilled, I have decided to imagine myself to be a bird.

While desiring to be a bird, one should also decide what kind of bird one wants to be.

I’m, of course, here concerned with myself only. If I desire to be a hawk, falcon, or eagle, I’d be able to fly very high in the sky and that at great speed. But that would be cruel since all these are predatory birds that kill other innocent small birds such as sparrows. So, I won’t like to be any of these birds.

As far as a parrot is concerned, it talks too much. A pigeon proverbially closes its eyes if a cat or other hunter animal or bird comes. A crow caws too much. A sparrow makes nests in houses, though it chirps melodiously.

There are certain birds that have no wings such as penguins, ostrich, kiwi, etc. I won’t like to be a wingless bird.

A dove is a beautiful bird. It coos melodiously and it is a symbol of peace. So, I may like to be a dove. But, the dove is too weak and innocent to protect itself against weather or enemies.

Finally, I’d like to be a peacock, the national bird of India. As such I would dance colorfully in mango and guava gardens and raise my sweet voice as the clouds appear in the sky.

Like a peacock, I’d sometimes fly up to sit in the branches of trees. Children would be very happy on seeing me.

I’d kill snakes and other such harmful creatures. I’d do no harm to human beings and innocent animals and birds.

Like a peacock, I’d draw the attention of all and everybody would appreciate my colourful feathers and above all, my circular dancing mango groves.

If I were a bird essay in English.

Hello friends, having wings and becoming a Bird is one of the dreams which everyone has in there life. If I were a bird in these imaginary essay we have discussed what I will do if I will become a bird. So let's start these essay.

If I were a bird English essay

If I were a Bird.

Yesterday our school had organized an educational trip, for which we had to do a long-distance journey. Due to this journey, I had become very tired and was bored and I was feeling sleepy, while going to sleep a thought just came to my mind that what if I were a bird.

The movement when the thought of becoming a bird came to my mind I started to imagine how much fun it will be if I get wings and I will be a bird.

Sometime later when I saw my hands they were turned into beautiful long wings that were colored like a peacock's feather. When I opened these wings I got a feeling of becoming a bird and I was excited to fly like a bird.

I swung my wings and took a small leap, I enjoyed a lot doing so. And I was very excited now and was just thinking what shall I do now and where shall I go now.

Whenever I used to look in the sky, I used to think about how must be the clouds. I always had a feeling to walk on those clouds, but it was not possible for me at that time but now I have wings I have became a bird now. I can go to the sky and sit on clouds at any time I want to.

The second thought that came to my mind is that from childhood we are watching the rainbow, how beautiful it looks. I always wished if I can touch that rainbow and slide on it. Wow! how much fun it will be.

There are so many advantages of becoming a bird isn't. Whenever we have to go outside our home for any reason we have to take permission from our parents. And even if they gave us permission we have to face the crowd which is very boring. But being a bird we don't need permission to got out nor we have to face this crowd outside. Traveling will be fun if we are a bird.

If we are hungry then it takes so much time to cook the food and even for making the food ready we have to do the work. But being a bird I don't have to work for making the food nor have to wait for it just go to the tree and take the fruit and eat it. Even if I want to sleep I can sleep on any tree and no one will disturb me while sleeping.

After being a bird I will do this and that, go around the seven seas and will have lots of fun, but being a bird will I only enjoy life, will there be no problems? these thoughts came to my mind.

So I started thinking, now I have become a bird but we humans are destroying trees were will I stay. Wherever I can see there is a jungle of concrete created by humans. If there are no trees how can I survive? Today all the atmosphere is been polluted then how can I breathe in the air. Being a bird how difficult is to survive.

I was just imagining and sound came "Get up you will get late for the school" and I woke up from the sleep and saw my beautiful wings were disappeared. Then I just gave up with the thought If I were a bird.

If I were a Bird

If gods were to grant me one boon, I would sincerely wish to be a bird. I envy birds when I see them flying high in the sky. This is their natural freedom in a world where every man is born free, but everywhere he is in chains. If I were a bird, I would fly to distant lands, see the whole world and make many foreign friends whose company I would enjoy. I would also like to fly higher and higher in the tension free skies and look down upon this cruel and selfish world. If I were a bird, I would lead a very happy life.

Essay on “If I were a Bird” for Kids and Students, English Paragraph, Speech for Class 8, 9, 10, 12, College and Competitive Exams.

If I were a Bird

If I were a bird, I would like to be one of the small species, cute and beautiful.

I would love to be a tiny maim who is beautiful, tiny and above all, it is a bird that man can keep as a pet. I would love to stay with men, study there ways and enjoy their company. This I would be able to do with men as, God has given the maim a power of speech just like men. It talks like a human being, has a sweet voice and, above all also has a great capacity to learn whatever it is taught.

If I were to be a bird, I would like my life to be a beautiful blend of freedom of flying in the high skies and the love and care given by man. I see advantages in both and find it difficult to make a choice.

My ambition as a bird would be able to fly high as high can be, like any other bird. This would give me an insight into what all exists in the atmosphere. I would also be able to assess first hand, the life of birds as a community, the advantages and the disadvantages they live with. I would share my experiences with my kin and understand the difficult ways of life. I would attain knowledge of lives of birds big and small as I would move with them and conversing with them while flying high in the air, or sitting on trees with my other colleagues. Though I would love all this, at the same time I would love to become a pet in a nice family. This family would keep me closed in a cage lest I fly off. Here, in the family I would learn to be controlled and restricted. It would be no doubt a punishment of sorts to be tied down in a cage but I feel so happy imagining the love and care I would get from each member of the family that would adopt me. Here, at home, I would be served food in a platter, water in a dish in a right royal style. Ahab what a life that could be for me. Hunting for food and being frightened of bigger birds attacking me would not be a care for me. I would be a loved one of many – what a wonderful feeling it gives.

While living with a family I would also be able to learn about the ways of men. How man lives, how he behaves, and what his attitude is towards birds I would be able to understand first hand, being so close to man. I would thus also get an insight into all this. Together with all these advantages, living with human beings, my art of talking like a human would get encouraged and I would get several chances to talk to the family.

I understand man keeps maims and parrots just for this art of these birds, of talking like men. My master, mistress and some small children of the family would teach me how to speak and what to speak. Once I would get the training to speak, I would be able to chat with each of the family members and guests. This would earn for me heaps of praises by all who heard me. This I say because I hear a maim has a very clear and sweet voice, and a capacity to talk like a human.

If I were a bird, I would like to get the blessing of this combination to be set into my life. It would give me a healthy and relaxed sojourn in a family, together with free visits to the sky, trying out my skills of taking high flights. The two together would give me as if, the best of both the worlds, of birds and humans. Oh! God, please grant me this life, that is, if I am not asking for too much.

Essay on “if i were a bird” english essay, paragraph, speech for kids and students for classes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 cbse, icse board, 272 words., if i were a bird.

The world of realities is dull and boring. It gets on our nerves. We can find escape from it only through imagination. It is imagination which makes life tolerable. It transports us to the world of beauty and romance. What we can’t get or become in reality we can achieve that with the help of imagination. Sometimes I wish to become a bird.

If I were a bird, I would live among green trees. I would not have to face housing problem. I would make my nest on any tree of my choice. I would not bother about the cost of living. I would be free to gather my food from any place. I would not be subject to any human law.

If I were a bird, I would not have to study. The fear of examinations would not haunt me. I would not have to get up early and go to with a bag full of books. Money-matter would not worry me. The question of employment, earning, spending and saving would not arise in my life. I would be happy to live in the company of nature.

If I were a bird, I would live in an ideal world. My world would be free from all evils of human society. It would be a world where corruption and dishonesty would be out of place. There would be no pollution any kind. I would breathe fresh air and sing glories of God. I would high in the sky. I would see how clouds burst and cause rain. While flying in the sky, I would look downward. I would enjoy the sights of tall mountains, green forests and deep seas. But it is sad that imagination can’t keep us away from the world of realities forever.

Essay on “If I were a bird” Complete Essay for Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation and other classes.

If I were a bird

Essay No. 01

It is sometimes said, if wishes were horses, beggars would ride them. I fully agree with those who say this, still, I do not think anything wrong if I were to run the horses of my imagination.

Accordingly, I’m in a mood to imagine myself a bird. Hence, I want to contemplate how I would look and feel and behave if I were a bird.

Naturally, if I were a bird, I’d have a small body that would be well equipped with soft wings and feathers like every bird. I do not here want to go into the intricacies of difference in wings and feathers of various kinds of birds. It is because I do not want to divide the world of birds on any pretext like the artificial division among human beings on the basis of colors, race, caste, creed, nationality, etc.

The most remarkable thing that I’d do is that I’d fly in the sky unhindered as the king or queen of skies as the case may be. It won’t be impossible for me to feel like Shelley’s Skylark to be somewhere near heaven from which height I’d pour my wisdom of ages down on the curious, puzzled humanity. Man is habituated to looking before and after and that is the cause of his misery. I’d teach him how to soar in the infinite skies selflessly.

Perhaps human spaceships which display the feats can be no match for me since my flight is entirely selfless and arises out of sheer happiness and love for freedom and adventure, whereas any and every human activity of whatever dimension is a part of some selfish motive lurking somewhere somehow without fail.

Essay No. 02

If I Were A Bird

Oh! What fun it would be if I could fly like a bird in the sky. I would sail freely among the clouds and play hide and seek with other birds. I would make friends with other birds and learn their various ways of flying and talking, I would even learn the trick of peeping inside a flying airplane, from a safe distance.

Flying would be an advantage because by way of flying I would be able to go far away from pollution and smoke from the chimneys of factories. I would be able to breathe pure air. In this way, I would remain healthy all my life.

Flying also has another advantage of not breaking any traffic rules. No one would find me for over-speeding or wrong parking. I would fly as I please. I could go anywhere I wish. I would thus be able to escape all the traffic jams and mad drivers.

I would look at the Mughal Gardens from the sky and that to without tickets. No black cat security would be able to stop me from observing the dignitaries from close quarters. I could also go into the restricted areas. And maybe with luck, I could see the President taking a walk in the garden

If I could fly, I would be able to leave school whenever there is no work. By being with nature, I would learn more than what is written in the textbooks. My teacher would be nature herself, who would teach me her secrets.

The power of flying would also free me from problems like housing and transport. By flying freely I would easily find good accommodation anywhere in and around Delhi. Transportation would also not be a problem. Besides, I would no longer be dependent upon public transport like buses and trains. Thus I would always be on time and never late.

Because of flying, I would not need to buy any vegetables and fruits. Through my flights, I would go to the fields and orchards. I would pick up the vegetables and fruit of my choice. Constant exposure to greenery would do well for my eyes. They would no longer feel tired.

And lastly, I would be able to witness any incident from the sky. Thus I would be able to form my own opinion about the reasons for such mishaps.
