A Beginner's Guide To GTA Online Bunker Research Missions
O ne of the quickest ways to finish active research and obtain the related feature or product from the Bunker Business is through GTA Online Bunker Research Missions. As part of the Criminal Enterprises DLC update, these tasks were introduced by Rockstar Games in July 2022. Surprisingly, most players are unaware of anything other than the Bunker's default boosting method. To make things even easier for grinders, the Research Missions provide the process an extra push.
The Bunker Research Missions allow players to quickly acquire new features in Grand Theft Auto Online. This article explains how to play them.
An Overview Of The GTA Online Bunker Research Missions For Beginners In 2024
Though it has numerous versions, the Bunker company in Grand Theft Auto Online only offers one Bunker Research Mission. You must first contact Agent 14 and choose Request Bunker Research from the Interaction Menu to begin the operation.
He will provide a task that can appear in any of the five places listed below:
- Procopio Truck Stop, Procopio Beach
- Sonar Collections Dock, Paleto Cove
- Larry's RV Sales, Route 68
- Tataviam Truckstop, Palomino Freeway
- Earl's Mini-Mart, Senora Freeway
Locating the person who is involved in a gunfight with the police, killing him, and taking a document out of his hands is your mission. The GTA Online Bunker Research Missions can be directed toward one of the two following locations:
- A person with a Minigun and a Ballistic Equipment suit
- The Cliffford Juggernaut
Due to their lengthy health bars, both targets are challenging to eliminate. Being present at the site will automatically elevate you to a three-star wanted status, so you'll also need to be mindful of police enforcement. As a result, during the Bunker Research Missions in Grand Theft Auto Online, players are recommended to utilize the most armoured vehicles available.
You will need to successfully deliver the document to the Bunker when you have obtained it. It goes without stating that before accessing the property, you must remove your desired level.
You can get all of the Bunker benefits more quickly than usual by completing the Bunker Research Missions. Every task has a 20-minute cooldown, enforced by Rockstar Games. You don't have to worry about dying throughout this process, which is a benefit.
There are only two ways to fail: either you run out of time or you quit the game. As a result, the quest will still go normally even if you die repeatedly while completing it. Although the exact length of the Research Missions was not disclosed by Rockstar Games, the free-roam missions typically last 30 minutes.
You can still play these missions even after finishing all of the research tasks, which provides a bonus. That being said, with the most recent GTA Online weekly update, all players ought to attempt these missions.

GTA Online Bunker: How Long Does Research Take?
How long does Bunker research take in GTA Online?
Published: 29 Apr 2021 1:57 PM +00:00 Updated: 25 May 2023 12:09 PM +00:00
GTA Online is a game that makes players rely on money and though that would make it easy to target younger gamers who buy microtransactions, there are plenty of activities you can partake in to make some of that good GTA$.
Businesses are one of the main ways to make a good amount of money in GTA Online, all of which are tailored to suit your criminal fantasies, so it doesnât matter if you fancy yourself a drug lord or a simple document forger, thereâs something for everyone.

One of the more interesting businesses in GTA Online is having a bunker, where research is done to make more weapons for the military, though the pay is just decent.
It takes 100 research points to develop new technology, which is tricky since the research bar fills up at 60, and just gaining 1 research point can take 5 minutes, so filling the entire bar can take 8.5 hours.
However, thatâs only if you donât upgrade your Bunker in GTA Online, and if players decide to pay up for those upgrades, 1 research point will only take 3.5 minutes, meaning the research bar will get full in 3.5 hours.
Another method to speed things up is to use the Fast Tracking option, which prioritizes a piece of research and simply has players paying up $225,000 while not using any research points.
You canât exploit this thought, since the Fast Track option has to reload every couple of minutes.
GTA Online, which you can get by purchasing GTA 5, is now available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Are you looking to find out more about GTA Onlineâs Bunkers? Weâll be breaking down everything you need to know in this guide.

What Are Bunkers, And How Do They Work?

- How To Sell Your GTA Online Bunker
After its initial launch in 2013, GTA Vâs multiplayer-addition, GTA Online, has become arguably the most significant game in Grand Theft Autoâs incredible history.
With Take-Two Interactive recently announcing that GTA Online has now sold over 135 million copies, the five-million copies sold during Q1 2020 have succeeded any other quarter since its initial launch.
Although this may be partly due to COVID-19, thereâs no doubt that the continual significant updates provided to fans across the world are enabling GTA Online to evolve into one of the most incredible games of all time.
As we look ahead to the future, thereâs still no confirmed sightings of GTA 6 on the horizon.
However, with the upcoming launch of the next-generation consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox Series X, Take-Two has promised: âA range of technical improvements, visual upgrades, and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the latest hardwareâ.
For the next-gen consoles, GTA Online will become a standalone release, as well as receiving exclusive updates and content.
PS5 owners are due to get the game for free in the three-months following its release, and PS Plus subscribers will get 1-million GTA dollars every month you play the GTA Online before the PS5 release date.
One of Rockstarâs most exceptional updates to the current-gen GTA Online was the Gunrunning DLC, which completely revolutionized the game.
With this new DLC came a tremendous amount of content, with Bunkers becoming one of the most sought-after features.
Although we could be here all day explaining why the update is worthwhile, some of the most significant features were the Mobile Operations Center (MOC), Gunrunning Business, 750 new clothing items, a wide variety of new weapons, and over 19 new vehicles.
Among the cars included was the impressive Dewbauchee Vagner, which earned its spot in our Fastest Cars In GTA Online guide.
Alongside these updates were the addition of Bunkers, and in this guide, weâll be taking an in-depth look at everything you need to know to make the most of this impressive feature in GTA Online.
As you may have guessed, the Bunkers in GTA provide a massive underground, Former Military facility base.
Bunkers are capable of being provided with living quarters and storage, which will also provide room for your MOC.
There are also workshops, which is where youâll be able to carry out research, allowing you to customize and upgrade your weapons and vehicles.
After receiving the introductory phone call from Agent 14, youâll have eleven Bunkers available to purchase from Maze Bank Foreclosures, and Agent 14 will provide you with a guided tour to explain the features.
Upon purchasing a Bunker, MC, VIP, CEO, or President Players will gain access to the Gunrunning Business, enabling you to run illegal weaponry trafficking operations throughout Los Santos and Blaine Country.
We wouldnât typically expect a Gunrunning Business to be your primary source of income, and we wouldnât use it as a replacement for other business ventures, such as Import/Export, or running crates.
However, a Bunker is extremely useful since itâll provide a passive income by taking supplies and converting them into stock, which you can sell over time.
If youâre short on time, it may be worth swapping your Biker business for a Gunrunning business, since it provides a similar business method, but with more substantial investments and returns.
Unlike the Biker business, the Bunker typically only requires one vehicle for a âSell Mission,â leaving less chance that someone will stumble upon your unguarded product before destroying it.
Donât expect to use Gunrunning as a get-rich-quick scheme, especially to begin with, as itâs always a good idea to use your initial profits to fast-track your research.
For regular players, we see the Bunker as a must-have feature in the game, allowing you to upgrade your weaponized vehicles, research further improvements, and also enhance your weapons to their MK2 variants.
Itâs vital to remember that the single most crucial feature of a Bunker is going to be its location. So, letâs take a look at them now.
If youâd rather watch a video, describing the locations of the Bunkers found in GTA Online, then check out the video below.
Weâve also provided a brief description below to help you track them down.

If you’re willing to put in the work, you can also hunt down the mafia’s secret bunker, as shown in this video guide:
As with most property in GTA Online, you only have the option to purchase one Bunker, so make sure you choose wisely.
Youâll want to plan for this and decide which Bunker best aligns with your long-term goals.
Here are four of the most popular Bunkers in GTA Online, and why theyâre often the personal choice for players.
Chumash Bunker – $1.65M
Many GTA Online players choose Chumash thanks to its convenient location between the city, country, and several mission locations within the game, itâs also located close to an Ammu-Nation and clothes store.
For this reason, Chumash can be beneficial for those of you that frequently find themselves switching between business and other activities.
Itâs also easily accessed from the highway, unlike some other Bunker locations.
But, weâll warn you – make sure you approach it carefully, or you may end up driving off the cliff, leaving your stock in the ocean.
Believe us when we say that this is hugely annoying when it happens!
Farmhouse Bunker – $2.37M
Farmhouse Bunker is the most expensive in the game, so itâs certainly not for everyone.
Itâs main positive is the rural location, which means you wonât frequently have to fight off other players, yet is still conveniently accessed from the highway.
You can also form a Helicopter/Hydra spawn outside, which can be useful.
Its main downside is the dirt road leading to it, which can be a pain in larger vehicles, the surrounding fence can also become annoying when approaching with the Oppressor.
For the money, itâs probably not going to be the best choice unless your pockets are overflowing with cash since youâre not going to reap many additional benefits.
Raton Canyon Bunker – $1.45M
Raton Canyon is the second cheapest Bunker in the game, and its price-tag combined with its secluded location may make it an appealing proposition for many gamers.
The surrounding mountains can make this perfect for aerial approach and descent, providing some useful additional security.
Despite being in a mountainous area, it still offers convenient access to the highway, yet it is just out of the way of anyone likely to give you any hassle.
Given that this isnât typically a popular choice, so it may well be the perfect solution to your needs.
Route 68 – $1.95M
Given its location, Route 68 is often a love/hate choice since youâre likely to receive a lot of hassle from other players.
Here, you can expect gunfights to take place right outside the entrance at the cost of having a convenient location.
For us, we typically opt for a more secluded location. Alternatively, Chumash is still in a functional area, but with less hassle on your doorstep than Route 68.
Best Bunker to Buy in GTA Online
Although some players may have personal reasons for preferring other bunkers, we feel that the closer your Bunker is to Los Santos, the better.
Given that you can sell your weapons for the highest profit at Ammu-Nation in Los Santos, itâs somewhere that we find ourselves spending a lot of our time, which is why we believe that the Chumash Bunker is the best all-rounder.
If youâve got plenty of cash to splash, you can also consider upgrading the Personal Quarters, which will enable you to spawn here conveniently.
With a price tag of just $1,650,000, we feel that you will struggle to do better than the Chumash Bunker, especially given its proximity to the highway – but ensure you donât go driving off the cliff!
Once youâve built up your balance, and some spare cash to splash, thereâs a variety of additional Bunker customizations.
Bunker Style
If youâre tired of the look of your Bunkerâs interior, then youâll be able to choose from two additional options to kit it out how youâd like it.
However, these styles do come at a price: $215,000, or $290,000, to be precise.
Itâs probably not going to be the most vital upgrade, but it may be worth considering if you end up spending a lot of time in your Bunker.
Personal Quarters
These make for a convenient spawn location, but if thatâs not much use, then this is mostly a cosmetic addition, and for $265,000, it may not be worth the cost for your needs.
Shooting Range
The Shooting Range is one of the most common and practical additions to your Bunker.
As youâve probably guessed, this allows you to practice with manually-aimed weaponry, and comes with a choice of either black/red targets, at $740,000, or a white/red alternative at $845,000.
Another benefit of the Shooting Range is that youâre able to take on challenges to unlock additional in-game weapons.
For $175,000, you can get yourself this useful weapon storage unit.
Transportation
With this upgrade, you get a tuned golf buggy to navigate your way around the Bunker. There are two options to choose from, Caddy 1, at $85,000, or Caddy 2, at $120,000.
In all honesty, weâve found them a bit of a gimmick, that isnât any quicker than navigating on foot. However, they are excellent for getting stuck in corridors, Austin Powers style.
If youâre wanting to ensure that your Bunker is producing money as quickly as possible, then Business Upgrades are the way to go.
Upgrading your business allows you to achieve optimal speed and security when it comes to manufacturing weapons.
However, it will cost you a pretty penny, which means itâll take a while to see any real profit.
Equipment Upgrade
At the cost of $1,155,000, this upgrade will provide superior research and manufacturing times, while also improving the value of your stock.
Staff Upgrade
As youâve guessed, this enables you to hire more staff, therefore providing further increased research and manufacturing times.
Since this upgrade costs $598,500, yet it can provide substantial profits, itâs typically the first upgrade that people choose.
Security Upgrade
Despite being just $351,000, this is often the least favored upgrade, mainly due to not providing return profits, unlike the other two – this does offer a useful CCTV system, though.
If you skimp on the Security Upgrade, it can feel like a worthwhile saving – until the day your stock gets stolen by your rivals.
Although the Security Upgrade can be a useful addition, Equipment, along with Staff, are often seen as the two vital early upgrades to your Bunker to ensure that itâs producing optimal profits.
Once youâve settled into your Bunker, youâll need to complete the first mission to get supplies before providing your staff with two options: Work on Production/Manufacturing or Research.
By carrying out research, youâll gain access to an array of new options, such as MOC upgrades, military vehicle equipment upgrades, and a variety of additional options for your current weapons stash that wouldnât otherwise be available in the game.
Research typically takes around 4-6 hours, and given that there are over 45 projects to research, this can take some time.
A standard Bunker generates one research unit every 5 minutes. However, a fully upgraded Bunker will produce 1 unit every 3.5 minutes, requiring a total of 3.5 hours to fill the research bar.
Alternatively, you can also use âFast Tracking,â where youâre able to research a specific project right away, providing youâre willing to pay the price, and at $225,000, itâs certainly not cheap. Thereâs also a three-minute cooldown period once the research is complete.
Once youâve done sufficient research, itâs time to move on to production/manufacturing, which is where youâll use your supplies to manufacture weapons that youâll be able to sell.
If youâve fully upgraded the staff and equipment, youâll be able to sell 100 units of arms outside of Blaine County for over $1M, leaving you with a potential profit of $675,000, which you could then put towards three more research âFast Tracksâ.
If you wish to âFast Trackâ all of the projects, this is likely to set you back around $10M, which sounds a lot, but now that youâve streamlined the process, youâll be pulling in fantastic profits.
Supplies are vital when it comes to research or production/manufacturing, and youâll be able to buy 20 supply units for $15,000, or fill up your bar for $75,000.
Alternatively, you can also earn supplies by completing missions, with solo missions providing 20 supplies, with bigger groups offered the potential to make an additional 20.
Doing the missions as part of a larger group can often be worthwhile, especially for the more challenging tasks.
In a standard Bunker, a full bar of supplies will last around 1 hour and 40 minutes, where a fully-upgraded Bunker will provide 2 hours and 20 minutes, which is one of many reasons that make the Bunker Upgrades worthwhile.
With a fully upgraded Bunker, you have the potential to make $90k per hour.
Although this is significantly less than crates, or Import/Export, itâs a passive income that can be earned alongside them to boost your finances.
Passive income is the best part of the Bunker, that while youâre out earning active income through jobs, the Bunker employees are still hard at work to bring in even more cash.
As any businessman will tell you, generating multiple streams of income is always a winner.
If youâre running Bunker/MC businesses, you can potentially end up making $4.2M per day in profits, with as little as two hours spent on sales.
Remember that selling outside of Blaine County offers superior profits, with just $5-7,000 per unit in Blaine County, but with the potential to earn $7,500-10,000 in Los Santos.
When it comes to producing stock to sell, your Bunker is capable of creating (and storing) 100 units of stock while youâre playing GTA Online, but not if youâre playing the Story Mode of the game.
With a standard Bunker, youâll create one unit every ten minutes, requiring 17 hours to fill your Bunker, with each unit worth $5,000 in Blaine County, and $7.5K across the border.
With a fully-upgraded Bunker, that becomes one unit every seven minutes, and a total time of 12 hours, with each stock worth $7K in Blaine County, and $10.5K outside.
Once youâve created sufficient stock from your supplies, itâs time to sell it to the prospective buyers.
These missions work similarly to the MC Club Business sell missions, where youâll need to deliver packages across Blaine County, or beyond if youâre looking to earn additional money.
Sounds easy enough? Right? Well, Rockstar thought so too, so theyâve provided you with just fifteen minutes to deliver all of your stock, except for one mission, which will allow thirty.
For those of you with a fully-upgraded Bunker, youâll be able to sell your stock Solo, provided itâs under $175,000-worth of goods.
If youâve got a standard Bunker, then the limit is $125,000-worth of goods.
If your stock is beyond these price brackets, then additional players will be required to help you shift the goods.
When opting for an easy life, you can sell within Blaine County. However, for maximum profits, youâll want to head to Los Santos, where youâll be capable of earning an additional 50% profit.
If you manage to deliver all of your stock in a busy GTA Online session, you can expect to earn additional bonuses, where you can eventually earn up to $2.1M in a single run, as shown in this video:

How To Sell GTA Online Bunker
Unfortunately, youâre not able to sell any of your property within GTA Online without making a significant loss.
If youâre desperate to switch locations, your best option is going to be trading your Bunker for another one in a different area.
Doing so isnât going to be an ideal investment, since youâll lose any Upgrades youâve made to your existing Bunker, along with any additional Customizations.
Youâll also lose all of your supplies, stock, and unfinished research.
The only positive is that youâll receive 50% of your initial purchase price back, but itâs still a substantial price to pay.
For this reason, it echos what we said initially, that location is the most crucial consideration you need to think about when planning which GTA Online Bunker is going to be best suited for your needs.
Weâve seen so many GTA fans asking how they can sell their Bunker, so make sure that you choose wisely initially, to avoid making the costly mistake further down the line.
Although purchasing a Bunker certainly isnât cheap, itâs undoubtedly a worthwhile investment thatâll completely transform your GTA Online experience.
Thereâs a vast array of additional benefits that come with the Bunker.
Once fully upgraded, it can be an impressive way to generate a passive income while you manually generate extra income within the game.
If youâre a regular player, then a Bunker is a must-have purchase, as itâll allow you to upgrade your weaponized vehicles.
Bunkers also enable you to upgrade and enhance your current weapons and even unlock additional weaponry that you wouldnât be able to get otherwise.
On top of that, it also offers you the chance to unlock additional benefits such as the Shooting Range, where youâll be able to undertake missions, enable you to unlock further weapons.
Although the Bunkers vary wildly in price, weâve mentioned several times that location is the most vital element here, and making the right choice will ensure that you donât regret your purchase further down the line, as switching your Bunker isnât convenient.
So, if you donât have the money yet, itâs time to get saving, as the Bunker is undoubtedly going to be a worthwhile investment for your GTA Online experience.

GTA Online Bunker Guide (2020 Edition)
So youâve bunkers on sale in GTA online and youâve started to get kind of curious. You have no idea what they are, what they do or even what they mean. Today I'm going to be giving you guys a rundown on the bunkers. The cost of upgrades, the locations, even how to get you up and running. GTA Online is a nonstop expanding world with add ons and DLC so things are always changing.
What is a bunker?
Bunkerâs are large underground military facilities in GTA online, they are located around the map in different locations. Inside you have room for storage, gun ranges you can even set up living quarters. Bunkers were added in the game with the gunrunning update. There is also an area where research new weapons and vehicles.
Getting Started
The very first thing that will have to happen is you need to become a VIP, CEO or a Biker Club President. Then you will get a call from someone named Agent 14, Once this step is done you can choose to buy a bunker which is located around the map in different locations. Once you have a bunker you will be shown around by agent 14. Once that is over you can roam around and check out your bunker, you can walk or drive your little buggy around. Once you have your bunker and youâre ready to start doing
business/Missions in a public session, you need to go to your laptop in the RnD area in your bunker. The very first mission you will have is collecting supplies located at your local ammunation. It wonât take you more than a few minutes for you to complete it.
Once this mission is over you will have three bars in the bottom right corner of your screen that say stock, research and supply. Stock shows you how much stock you have to sell. The research will be done by your staff which will unlock weapons and vehicle upgrades depending on what you choose.
Making money
Now youâre gonna want to have all your staff to be manufacturing, now you research bar wonât go up. On the other hand, the stock bar will go twice as fast because of this. Now you want to get the staff and equipment upgrades the both will increase how much money the bunker will make. Buy the staff upgrade first and save up to get the equipment upgrade because it will take a little longer to collect enough money for that specific upgrade. Now buying a resupply is only gonna cost you 75,000 but make sure you steal supplies until you have both equipment and staff upgrades. If you are doing most of this solo it will take you 5 steal-missions to resupply your bunker fully which frankly just takes too much time.
- No Upgrades: 40,000/HR
- Staff Upgrade: 54,000/HR
- Equipment Upgrade: 55,000/HR
- Both Upgrades: 75,000/HR
This just comes down to personal preference there are eleven bunkers available around the map. The best one that I have researched is Chumash because of how close it is to the city so the sales missions will go by a lot quicker. Now the Route 68 bunker is also really nice because of how many businesses surround the location. In your head youâre like Iâll buy the cheapest one but that would be a mistake, buying the cheapest one means you are in the most northern part of the map. This means if you have sales missions with multiple vehicles youâre most likely not gonna have the time to finish. The best bet would be going for one of these two locations.
Now all the bunkers vary in price from bunker to bunker. The minimal amount of money youâll spend is 1,650,000 this does not include upgrades, Including upgrades it's gonna be another 1,748,000. Which will bring you to a total of 3,398,000. If you are low on cash remember that Rockstar usually has discounts and sales on a pretty regular basis, it is worth the wait if youâre trying to get the best bang for your buck. So just be on the lookout for those awesome sales prices.
- Paleto Forest Bunker: 1,165,000
- Raton Canyon Bunker: 1,450,000
- Lago Zancudo Bunker: 1,550,000
- Chumash Bunker: 1,650,000
- Grapeseed Bunker: 1,750,000
- Route 68 Bunker: 1,950,000
- Grand Senora Oilfields Bunker: 2,035,000
- Grand Senora Desert Bunker: 2,120,000
- Smoke Tree Road Bunker: 2,205,000
- Thomson Scrapyard Bunker: 2,290,000
- Farmhouse Bunker: 2,375,000
Now upgrading your bunker there are a couple of essentials and cosmetics some just know once you upgrade one thing It makes your product more valuable. Now upgrading does make your supplies run out slower then if you had none. Personal quarters can be added if you want to spawn in the bunker. You can purchase a gun locker now this is helpful, you can make custom load-outs in your bunker. Gun range is also available black or white targets can be selected but the price difference between them is 115,000. With the range you can hone your shooting skills and increase your accuracy. The bunker still makes you income even if you are doing races or messing around with friends in the city.
- Bunker Style 1: 0
- Walls are grey
- Bunker Style 2: 215,000
- Walls are blue
- Bunker style 3: 290,000

- Transportation: 85,000
- Non extended Caddy
- Transportation: 120,000
- Extended Caddy
- Resupply: 75,000
- Re-Up on supplies.

You will have two choices on who to sell to Blaine County or Los Santos always sell to Los Santos, you will receive 50% more money. There are many selling missions, most of them are the same. Get into a vehicle, drive it to a location to collect your money there are only two that you might have trouble with. Like the âMerryweatherâ or the âDune FAV Sale.â You might need some backup with these two missions just to be safe. The dune fav mission needs four people complete and each person will have to get to five drops. That does include dealing with griefers with one explosive your vehicle will go boom. With the Merryweather mission you have three insurgent pickup customs and each player must do five drops. After each drop you complete you must wait for your rest of your team to do their drop as well, then you have to fight a horde of Merryweather just to complete so these two missions be on the lookout for. Now if you start to get killed by random players in your session during these missions will hinder you from completing them you can find a new session but that will cost you 7,000.

Description [ ]
Bunkers are huge underground facilities introduced with Mobile Operations . They may be customized with several additions, similar to Motorcycle Clubhouses and CEO Offices . There are 11 bunkers available to purchase from Maze Bank Foreclosures after receiving an introductory phone call from Agent 14 .
Purchase [ ]
During the introduction after entering the player's new bunker, Agent 14 meets them at the inner entrance, hands over a large ring of old-fashioned warded lock keys and implies that the gunrunning operation was being run by his government agency but officially they were certainly not doing "anything inappropriate," and now the location was being shut down while they move elsewhere and sold as a completely vacant bunker. He suggests the space could be turned into something like a boutique hotel or a microbrewery. However, he gets a phone call checking up on the moving out progress and quickly prevents the protagonist from wandering off to look around on their own. He becomes exasperated when the other end tells him to "do it, but don't do it," and after hanging up, switches gears and instead presents the bunker's current use, making arms, as a going concern. Agent 14 then proceeds to give the player a full tour of the bunker, pointing out that there's space to store a Mobile Operations Center if they so wish, a gun range, and then fully disclosing that instead of using the space for something civilian, the player could make some real money in weapons manufacturing on behalf of the government and how the process works, assuring that he himself has received medals for the work. After the tour, he notes he really needs to get going as they're "bombing someone tomorrow," though he half-heartedly tries to retract that and proceeds to leave the bunker, reminding the player that officially they've never met but he will keep in touch and offer further guidance.
The main entrance is a large tunnel that connects the bunker with the surface, where the surface point has a large mechanical door that opens upwards and the bunker point has two steel doors that leads to the bunker itself. A cutscene triggers when the player enters the bunker; and the tunnel is briefly seen when a Mobile Operations Center enters the bunker.
The entry lobby is the main area where the player enters. Four Caddy carts are provided for the owner and their allies for easy navigation in the bunker if the transportation option was added in the purchase. At the right-hand side of the entrance, there is a marked area where the supplies are placed, which may have a variable amount of props depending on the supply's level. There is also an area marked "BAY 01", where the owner's personal vehicle is parked when driven into the bunker. This is not a permanent garage space, but rather a safe parking space to use while in the bunker. Switching sessions while staying in the bunker will move the vehicle outside to the nearest road. As of The Criminal Enterprises update, a Duneloader with a large crate on the back can be seen here, with which the player can interact to start the Ammu-Nation Contract mission (if available).
The Bunker Vehicle Workshop is located next to the entry lobby and becomes operational upon purchase of a Mobile Operations Center and the Anti-Aircraft Trailer . The player can go to the mechanic in order to customize every vehicle of this area (considering that the MOC cab also counts).
The research and manufacturing area is connected to the entry lobby (just taking a U-turn from the entrance), where several machines can be seen, as well as a small table where the scientists are seen with blueprints of an Assault Rifle Mk II . Two Vending Machines are seen here as well. If the equipment upgrade is purchased, ventilation systems are seen on the roof.
Within the area, there is an office section with a laptop that provides access to Disruption Logistics , which is used to run the gunrunning business operations. On a corner of the management area, the player can find the gun locker and their personal room (if purchased).
Next to the research/manufacturing area, there is the storage area, where the gunrunning supplies are stored. Depending on the bunker's supply level, various crates containing weapons and ammunitions are seen here. If the security upgrade is purchased, the entrances will have steel grating on the doors. Chemical bathrooms are seen in the small portion connecting the entry lobby, the research/manufacturing area, and the storage area.
Further ahead from the research/manufacturing area, a shooting range is available for those who purchased it and will have a small alcove containing the shooting range rewards.
A set of hallways are seen on a side of the bunker, with the main one providing a direct connection between the entrance lobby, the research/manufacturing area, and the shooting range, with a secondary hallway connecting the primary hallway to the Bunker Vehicle Workshop. A couple of hallways lead to cul-de-sacs, suggesting plans to extend corridors further.
Only one bunker can be owned at a time: purchasing another will trade-in the old one for the new one. 50% of the purchase price of the first bunker will be refunded to the player (assuming it was not purchased for free), as will 50% of the cost of any expansions and upgrades purchased for that bunker; all expansions and upgrades desired will have to be repurchased for the new bunker. All supplies, stock, and research-in-progress will be lost and should be taken care of first. However, all completed research is permanently kept for that character, and if a MOC is owned, it will be automatically moved to the new bunker as well.
Daily Fees [ ]
While registered as either a CEO, VIP, or MC president, owning a bunker will incur a standard daily fee of $2,000. A fully upgraded bunker, done through Disruption Logistics, will cost $4,500 daily.
A bunker's business functions will work as long as the owner is in a session, and is not dependent on being registered, allowing for the fees to be avoided.
Before The Contract update, if the player remained in the same session beyond one day (48 minutes) and then registered, the fees would immediately be charged and removed from their bank account.
- $2,000 Base cost
- + $800 Equipment Upgrade
- + $1,000 Staff Upgrade
- + $700 Security Upgrade
- = $4,500 total
Pre-The Contract [ ]
- $4,700 Base cost
- + $1,600 Equipment Upgrade
- + $2,325 Staff Upgrade
- + $775 Security Upgrade
- = $9,400 total

- At some point before the tour, one can see the employees in the background carrying an EMP device and mistakenly dropping it mid-way, in which Agent 14 complains about "not destroying things". This particular scene is the same used at the end of the heist setup mission Humane Raid - EMP , where they also accidentally dropped it when one of the employees opens the back door of an Insurgent . The difference is that, in the bunker scene, it sounds as if it was a light metallic object, while the one in the heist scene sounds like a proper heavy metallic object.
- The Bunker shared interior map, along with Warehouses , Vehicle Warehouses , and Hangars is located under Terminal , as the Adversary Modes that takes place in the Bunker will have the corresponding items in there.
- Both the owner's personal vehicle and the transportation Caddys have a limited speed inside the Bunker, likely to provide easier driving due to the relatively enclosed area.
- If the player's MOC is inside the bunker, all other large vehicles (Avenger, Terrorbyte) will return to storage.

However, that's only if you don't upgrade your Bunker in GTA Online, and if players decide to pay up for those upgrades, 1 research point will only take 3.5 minutes, meaning the research bar will get full in 3.5 hours. Raton Canyon Bunker - $1.45M. Raton Canyon is the second cheapest Bunker in the game, and its price-tag combined with its secluded location may make it an appealing proposition for many gamers. The surrounding mountains can make this perfect for aerial approach and descent, providing some useful additional security.
Then your bunker staff can be assigned to making weapons, doing research, or a mix of both. Research consumes the bunker materials, and the output is 'discovering' some new upgrade to weapons or to Camo. This discovery is random. So, you may just get a livery for your time, or you may get items like the thermal scope for the sniper rifle.
Things like missiles for the Oppressor (the original one, not the MK2) are only available to add once you research them. Explosive ammo, incendiary ammo and FMJ ammo can only be added to weapons after research. Some of the research is not needed, like liveries, but it's advisable to do research too. 1. Award.
3 hours and 30 minutes to complete one research item fully. A full bar of supplies will last 5 hours and 50 minutes when allocated to research only. Using u/Psychko 's info... 10,080 minutes if you have none finished. 10,080/60 = 168 hours. 168/24 = 7 days. This is if your system runs non-stop (and if my math is correct).
Watch your current research until it gets a sliver away from finishing. Quit to story mode to save the game. Go back online (make sure your spawn location is your bunker). If you did it right, you now have 7 minutes before it finishes and starts a new one. Set a timer on your phone for 6:30.
To start research, simply follow these steps: Complete a supply mission. Head over to Disruption Logistics on the Laptop in the Bunker. Select Research and wait for it to complete. Upon completion ...

Yes, definitely worth it. Fully upgrade your bunker and keep workers on manufacturing. Sale to the furthest option when product reaches 350k (or close) this will give 525k for guaranteed 2 vehicle delivery, very easy with one friend or even solo. If you get 5 stop insurgents or buggies just close application and try again.
If research speed is 3x, put all balls on research. Paying for instant completion of research eliminates the whole 3x speed advantage, so I would recommend against doing that. I say depends how much money you have, when I started all my research I had 20mil and all of the business and the vehicles I required to do what I needed.
