Essay on Importance of Mother in Our Life (1000+ Words)

‘Maa’ or ‘Mom’ is a word that takes every child of the world first from his mouth after coming into this world. Father and mother in this world are those forms of God who see us with no selfishness, teach us, send to school, colleges and always pray to God that our children will not get any irritation and he gets every success in their life.

We cannot expect a life without a mother so we must know the importance of mother. If there were no mother, then we would not have existed in this world. “Maa” is the most natural word in the world, in this name Lord, himself dwells.

Mothers Love Toward

When the newborn arrives in this world, the most disgusting person is the mother of the newborn. She feels like she has got the world’s most prized thing.

Mother is prepared to manage anything for her children. This is not only happening in human beings but in every kind of creature as well. If the trouble is coming to the child, then the mother arrives ahead first.

Mom is most concerned about the future of her children, and anyone does not love more than her mother. Mother loves much more her child, but for knowing that the progeny is strolling on the incorrect route, then she calls him like a guru and interprets it to him, and if needed, then she also puts two hands on them.

There is no one in this world than the mother, and if the mother is not there, then this world is identical to the desert. Mothers should never get hurt.

This word “mother” is precious. Mother is not only the word but the basis of our living. It is tough to live without a mother’s accompaniment. In the morning until we do not hear the mother’s voice, it has not happened in the morning, or today is the Sunday.

This is thinking who is a more significant angle in-between the Mother and God, it falls into the big conscience. So, everyone needs to understand the importance of mother because no one can be as real as her.

Mothers Support For Her Family

Mother always supports together in our good and bad times. For the mother, their children are exact. More than others in her life, she always takes care of and loves us.

She gives us a priority in her life and supports hope in our bad times. The mother, who gets very happy while the child born. She co-operates us in every affair and tries to solve all our problems.

The relationship between mother and children is precious, that never lasts. No, any mother ever reduces her love and upbringing with her children.

“Maa” is the first word for all of us, which we remember in every sorrow and pain first. The name of God also forgets in the person’s pain but never forgets the name of the mother.

Mother is that part of our life without which it is tough to live life. The children’s love may be less for the mother, but the mother’s love never becomes less for her children. In the crisis, even the mother may sleep hungry at night, but she never let it sleeping hungry her children.

The mother remains like this. Mother loves many her children, even if she wore herself old clothes, but she buys new clothes for her children, sleeping in her wet place and let it facilitate sleeping her children in a comfortable place.

It is a matter of dignity to say about mother. They are a very fortunate whose mother is there. Mother always wants to be with her children when the child comes from school; the mother gives them food.

She asks him what happened in the school today and the food ate or not wholly in school. A mother can do anything for her children, like the Lamb (goat’s kid); She dares to fight with the lion and protect her child. This is a common story to understand the importance of a mother.

If the mother becomes angry with the child, then she cannot be patient for a few longs time without speaking with them. Mother keeps an uninterrupted fast for the happiness of her children and takes a full day fast without taking water. It does not know that God is a mother or God comes in the form of a mother in this world to protect us.

Mother’s Day Celebration

Mother’s Day is a day when every child celebrates it specifically for their mothers. It is celebrated annually as a significant event of the year on the second Sunday of May. Nowadays, schools celebrate Mother’s Day in the presence of their children.

Greeting cards, a vivid card, or other unique gifts are given to the mother by their children. On this day, family members go out to taste some delicious and enjoy more. Mothers give some gifts and much love and care to their children.

Their children especially invite mothers to the school where teachers, children, and mothers enjoy celebrating Mother’s Day. Mother and child do some activities to enjoy this day fully. Mothers prepare some special dishes such as macaroni, chow mien, dessert, biscuits, etc. for their children according to their interests.

Mothers also take part in other activities such as dance, singing, speech, etc. The children take part in poetry lessons, conversations, dance, singing, and essay writing, which are related to Mother’s Day. At the end of the festival, mothers serve specially prepared dishes for all students and teachers in the class. All people eat together and enjoy.

Role of Mother in Our Life

Mother’s role is always different in our lives and is priceless to other ones engaged in life. Of course, Mother’s entire day passes to rendezvous our needs. She does not want to return anything from her children. She loves them with an open heart.

Being a progeny, we furthermore love the mother and take care of her. As a dwelling God, in the life of every individual, the mother is the most distinct in the world, who takes all the sorrows of her children and devotes them love and protection.

The child is very proud of whose mother is there. Without a mother, this world looks like a rotten desert. I sometimes think that if you did not have me, then what would have happened to me in this fake world, who was to love me and ask me repeatedly to eat corn.

When someone beat me, then who was to fight with them and kept me in the embrace, caressing me… I love you so much, Maa.

Mother is the person who awakens for them in the bad days and diseases of their children overnight. It involves her in every happiness, and she understands all his/her likes and dislikes.

Maa habitually guides her children to proceed on the right path and motivates them to go on the right way in life. She is our first teacher who provides us with new lessons at every step of life and distinguishes us from the difference between right and wrong.

She always teaches and explains us discipline , behave well, and responsibility and role for the family, society, and country. I hope you like this essay on importance of mother in our life.

Why Mothers Are Our Number-One Heroes

Mothers fulfill at least a dozen important psychological functions of heroism..

  • Research consistently shows that people list their mother as their favorite hero.
  • Mothers fulfill many important psychological functions involving mental and emotional well-being.
  • Mothers can mentor us through our nostalgic reminiscing even after they are gone.

Scott T. Allison

Each year we celebrate Mother’s Day and for good reason. Our mothers are our number one heroes, according to our surveys . Fathers occupy second place in our hero surveys, but they are a distant second.

Mothers are indeed the mother of all heroes.

How do mothers do it? Over the past decade, psychologists have been able to identify at least 12 functions of heroes and heroism:

  • Heroes give us hope.
  • Heroes energize us.
  • Heroes develop us.
  • Heroes heal us.
  • Heroes impart wisdom .
  • Heroes are role models for morality .
  • Heroes offer safety and protection.
  • Heroes give us positive emotions.
  • Heroes give us meaning and purpose.
  • Heroes provide social connection and reduce loneliness .
  • Heroes help individuals achieve personal goals .
  • Heroes help society achieve societal goals .

Our mothers play a role in fulfilling these 12 functions, either directly or indirectly. This list of hero functions tells us that mothers offer benefits that span many dimensions of human well-being.

First, Mothers confer basic survival benefits (e.g., safety and healing). They protect us when we’re young and vulnerable and are there for us when we get sick or injured. Second, consistent with recent research, mothers give us cognitive benefits, such as intelligence , creativity , and wisdom .

Third, mothers offer motivational benefits. They are our biggest cheerleaders and inspire us to become our best selves. Fourth, mothers provide emotional benefits. Although there are obvious exceptions, mothers are often warmer and more nurturant than fathers.

Fifth, mothers bestow moral and spiritual benefits. Mothers teach us empathy and compassion for others. As children, we watch our mothers’ selflessness and daily sacrifices and learn that we’re all called to perform these acts of kindness for others. Finally, our mothers offer existential benefits such as meaning and purpose. They show us that connection and love for family and friends are the foundation for living a healthy life.

In short, mothers help us survive, and they help us thrive. They help us through our worst times and prepare us for our best times. Fathers do these things, too, but mothers somehow have an edge.

One of the most important research findings about heroes is that they don’t have to be physically present to help us survive and thrive. Research shows that just remembering our heroes can do the job for us. Nostalgia for our mothers, whether they’re alive or gone, can produce these 12 benefits of heroism. We all benefit from the memory of our heroes, often in ways we’re unaware of.

Mother’s Day far exceeds Father’s Day regarding greeting card sales and gift expenditures, and for good reason. Mothers are our Number One Hero because they shape us in the best of ways. They are there for us when we need emotional support. Mothers love us and hug us. They comfort us when we most need it and role model love in countless ways.

Social norms are changing, and we now see more fathers taking on the role of nurturers than in previous generations. But the emerging science of heroism helps explain why we reserve a special place in our hearts for our heroic mothers.

Essay on Mother’s Day

A mother is the first teacher and the first friend of her children. She carries her child in her womb for nine months and nurtures her little one with all her heart and soul. She can decipher every gesture of her children since the time they are born. She loves her children unconditionally and guides them on the right path in life. She takes care of her children and ensures their safety in every way. We celebrate Mother's Day to thank our mothers, expressing our love and gratitude for them.

Origin of Mother’s Day

The celebration of Mother's Day first started in the country of Greece, and now it is celebrated in every part of the world. Every mother is devoted to her child throughout her life. Measuring the depth of a mother's sacrifice is not possible for anyone nor can we repay the priceless favors and love of our mothers. It is our duty to take care of our mothers and to respect and love them. Mother's day is celebrated to make our mothers feel special and shower all our love on her. Though it is celebrated on the second Sunday of May, every year, yet, we should celebrate every day as Mother's Day to make our mothers feel special.

Methods of Celebration

Every child wants to celebrate Mother’s Day in a special way. Some bring gifts for their mothers, some cook for them, some cut cakes. Some people celebrate it at home, some go out and celebrate it. Of all the expensive things, handmade gifts always hold a special place in the hearts of our mothers. Some people take their mothers for a day-out and spend quality time with their mothers.

Mother is the first person that a child seeks for on returning home. She takes care of her children from their birth until her last breath. We cannot even count their innumerable contributions to our lives or all that they do from morning to night. Mothers continue to perform all their duties and responsibilities, throughout the day, even if they are tired. They never expect anything in return for all the love they shower upon us and the way they pamper us. However, we can say a big thank you to our mothers for all that she does for us.

We should obey our mothers and treat them with respect. It is a mother who shapes the character and personality of her children. All mothers play an important role in the growth and development of their children. She takes care of everything that her child needs. A mother is the first teacher of her children. She loves her children dearly, and in every difficulty, she stands by her children and guides them through thick and thin. It is a mother who stops her children from wrongdoing and dissuades them when they tend to go on the wrong path. She scolds them and guides them onto the right path, that’s why a mother is referred to as the first teacher of any child.

For a mother, her whole world is around her children. It is our duty to take care of our mothers, to never let them be unhappy, to never disrespect them, and no matter what to not leave them when they are hard on us. A mother always motivates her children, encourages them to move ahead and work harder in life. A mother's happiness always depends on her children, if her child is unhappy she can never be happy.

No matter how old a child is, when he comes home, he wants to see his mother first. When a child is in trouble, he runs to his mother for help. She forgets her desires while fulfilling the wishes of others. She feeds her children by preparing their favorite dishes, she narrates new stories to her children. She also helps in preparing her children's school projects, she also helps them with their studies. Mothers teach their children good manners, equity, morality, and humanity. In fact, for every child, his mother is the most precious gift of his life.

Celebration in School

Mother's day is celebrated with great pomp in many schools. Mothers are invited to their children’s schools on this day. On this day children adopt different methods to make their mother feel special, some children prepare essays for their mother, write a speech for them so that they can tell them how special their mothers are to them. Some children prepare cards for their mothers, some sing songs, while some get their mothers her favorite things. On this day, many games are played in schools in which mothers participate with their children.

Mother’s Day Celebrations in Different Countries

Mothers are respected in every culture of the world. They are considered the ultimate symbol of sacrifice. They are known for their love and affection throughout the world. Every country celebrates Mother's day in a different way.

Australia has a long history of celebrating Mother’s Day filled with different customs. Mothers are given flowers and a visit to the church is customary. The mothers that lost their children during the war were honored by other members of the society.

Celebrating Mother’s Day was not a part of the tradition of Bangladesh. It was introduced to the people due to the increasing influence of western customs. It is still not celebrated in many parts, however, people from urban areas usually celebrate it with a cake or some gifts.

In Brazil, Mother’s Day was initially promoted by the Catholic Church. However today it is celebrated with families by exchanging gifts like a western holiday. It has not been declared as an official holiday.

Mother’s Day has not been declared a holiday by the government of Canada. It is a private function held with families. Mothers and grandmothers receive gifts from their families.

Initially, it was seen as a US holiday. However, the government permitted its citizens to celebrate Mother’s Day. It is justified on the grounds that the holiday falls in line with the ethics and traditions of the Chinese people.

Therefore, Mother’s Day is celebrated in China to show respect and honor to the mothers. People usually buy flowers for their mothers. Lilies and carnations are the most popular choice here.

Celebrating Mother’s Day became a common practice in Egypt and Arabic countries only in the latter half of the last century. It is done by playing songs and showing respect and gratitude to mothers .

The idea of celebrating Mother’s Day became popular in France during World War I due to US soldiers posted there. The government of France started awarding mothers with large families. However, today it has become a commercial holiday and is celebrated by giving gifts and cards.

In Germany, the celebration of Mother’s Day began to promote the idea of motherhood. Initially, the holiday was not about recognizing the individuality of the mother. Rather it was an attempt of the nation to increase its population. It was declared as an official holiday and awards were given to mothers that had a large number of children.

Initially, Mother’s Day was not celebrated in Mexico as it was seen as a capitalist holiday of the US. However, in modern times, it is celebrated with great enthusiasm to honor mothers. The day usually begins with a special song for the mother and the rest of the day families spend time with their loved ones.

In Nepal, Mother’s Day is celebrated either with the entire family or by performing a pilgrimage. The whole purpose of the day is to recognize the sacrifices and hard work of mothers and to honor them with gifts and love.

The pilgrimage is performed by visiting a pond that is considered holy. It is done with the purpose of bringing peace to the soul of the mother. It is celebrated according to the position of the moon in the atmosphere.

Russia commemorates the selfless and heroic qualities of women. It is common to celebrate women’s day and Mother’s Day together in Russia. 8th March marks the contribution of women and is declared as a holiday by the government.

In Spain, Mother’s Day is celebrated not only by the children but by the entire family. Gifts are given to mothers by every member of the family. Children usually prepare the presents themselves or with the help of their class teachers.

In Spain, the month of May is attributed to Mother Mary. Mother’s Day is therefore celebrated on the first Sunday of May.

In the United States of America, mothers are honored with flowers. It has become a tradition to celebrate Mother’s Day by buying coloured carnations, cards, etc. People who have lost their mothers usually buy white carnations. It is also popular to visit a church on Mother’s Day.

The bond of a mother and her child is so special that it is cherished forever, by children and their mothers. One day is not enough to celebrate motherhood and we should make every day as special as Mother’s Day to shower our love upon our mothers. We should acknowledge all the little things that our mothers do for us every day. No other gift can be more special to a mother than her children’s love and respect. So let us pledge to make every day special for our mothers and fill her days with warmth and joy.

Each May, the United States celebrates Mother’s Day, and for good reason. According to surveys I’ve conducted , over 25% of Americans cite their mother as their number one hero. Fathers come in a distant second at 16%.

Moms are indeed the mother of all heroes.

importance of mother in our life essay

More than 60 years ago, psychologist Abraham Maslow proposed his famous hierarchy of human needs , spanning the most basic biological needs to the pinnacle of realizing one’s full potential. Mothers are masters at helping their children meet this full range of human needs: from providing physical nourishment and safety, love and affection, all the way up to supporting emotional and spiritual growth.

Survey respondents report their mothers as heroic in helping them progress through the various stages of Maslow’s model – even if they don’t call it that. A good mother feeds you, protects you, loves you, helps you connect with others and encourages you to become your best self. She’s fulfilling what psychologists including me have identified as the four important functions of a hero : provide defense and protection; embody intelligence and wisdom ; model moral behavior; and promote enhancement and inspiration.

Here’s how moms do it.

1. Mothers defend and protect

Amazing stories abound of mothers doing whatever it takes to save their children, whether lifting astronomical weights or sacrificing their own lives. It is commonplace to see headlines about mothers saving and protecting their children in the most harrowing of circumstances.

importance of mother in our life essay

The protection function of heroes is seen in the comments of survey respondents about why their mothers are their heroes. Typical responses include, “My mother protected me from neighborhood bullies” and “My mother kept me safe from predators.” In her review of the psychological mechanisms of motherhood, Rebecca M. Fischer, a student researcher here at the University of Richmond, found that mothers are “biologically driven to protect , care for and motivate their children to succeed.”

Other colleagues of mine at Richmond, neuroscientists Craig H. Kinsley and Kelly G. Lambert , have discovered that motherhood changes the brain in female rats, producing maternal behaviors directed toward protecting their young from danger. In human beings, too, women’s brains undergo significant remodeling that lasts more than two years after birth. These changes help women with the transition into motherhood and may include a readiness to protect and defend the baby.

Human infants are among the most vulnerable of all primates . No wonder our species evolved to have mothers who risk it all to protect us when we are so small and fragile.

2. Mothers provide intelligence and wisdom

Scientists are beginning to uncover evidence suggesting that intelligence is inherited more from mothers than from fathers.

Beyond this genetic inheritance, mothers tend to be committed to passing on wisdom to their children. My own mother taught me that the most important things in life are intangible and cannot be bought – love, integrity, character and honesty.

Many of Americans’ most cherished heroes credit their mothers for teaching them fundamental truths about life. George Washington apocryphally observed that “ all I am I owe to my mother . I attribute all my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from her.” Famed musician Stevie Wonder has reportedly called his mother his “ greatest teacher .”

And mothers often impart intentional life lessons to their children. Former first lady Michelle Obama observed: “Life is practice and I tell my girls this every day . You are practicing who you are going to be. … Do you want to be dependable? Then you have to be dependable. If you want people to trust you then you have to be trustworthy.”

Legendary tales of heroism almost always include mentors who possess enduring wisdom and are willing to share it. Mothers serve as mentors to their sons and daughters when they need guidance while growing up.

3. Mothers are moral models

A good mother tries to provide an example of high standards of human conduct.

importance of mother in our life essay

In his 2016 Presidential Proclamation of Mother’s Day , Barack Obama emphasized how mothers “shape America’s character.” He noted how many mothers “struggle to raise children while pursuing their careers or as single parents working to provide for their families” and how mothers lead “by powerful example and overcoming obstacles so their sons and daughters can reach their fullest potential.”

As children, many people watch their mothers’ selflessness and daily sacrifices, and learn that we’re all called to perform these acts of kindness for others. Heroes are beacons of hope who demonstrate how to behave virtuously. Sounds like a lot of moms.

4. Mothers enhance and inspire

The respondents to my colleagues’ and my hero surveys never fail to mention how their mothers made them better people . Typical responses include, “My mother inspired me to become my best self” and “My mother motivated me to develop my fullest potential.”

A good mother thinks the world of her children and wants what’s best for them. She encourages her kids to reach for the stars and maximize their fullest potential. As Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg has said, her mother “raised me and my sister to believe that we could do anything , and we believed her.”

My own research on heroism indicates that hero stories throughout the ages were designed to energize and motivate their audience to become better people – an important part of the job description for moms, too.

importance of mother in our life essay

Despite any flaws, moms come out on top

Do women instantly become saints when they have a child? Of course not. Certainly there are plenty of mothers out there who don’t fit these somewhat idealized descriptions.

But of all the people to pick from as heroes – presidents, humanitarians, legends, coaches and family members – our survey respondents listed mothers as their number one hero . Mothers, we learned, meet people’s needs and mold them into their best selves more effectively than any other individual the respondents encountered.

Mother’s Day far exceeds Father’s Day in terms of greeting card sales and gift expenditures, and for good reason. Mothers come out on top in our poll of heroes because of the free offering of love that they provide. Good moms are there for you when you need emotional support. They hug you. They comfort you when you cry and let you sit on their laps. They kiss you on your cheeks before school and at bedtime at night.

Yes, social norms are changing and fathers are taking on the role of nurturers more than in previous generations. But the emerging psychological science of heroism helps explain why many people reserve a special place in their hearts for their heroic mothers.

Essay on Influence Of Mother

Students are often asked to write an essay on Influence Of Mother in their schools and colleges. And if you’re also looking for the same, we have created 100-word, 250-word, and 500-word essays on the topic.

Let’s take a look…

100 Words Essay on Influence Of Mother

The role of a mother.

A mother’s role is like the roots of a tree, giving stability and nourishment. From birth, she is a child’s first teacher, showing how to speak, walk, and behave. Her love and care help the child feel safe and happy.

Teaching Values

Mothers teach important life values such as kindness, respect, and honesty. These lessons shape a child’s character. By watching their mothers, children learn how to treat others and make good choices.

Support and Encouragement

A mother supports her child’s dreams. She encourages them to try new things and is there to comfort them if they fail. Her belief in them helps them to succeed.

Setting Examples

Mothers set examples by their actions. If a mother works hard, is polite, and shows love to others, her children are likely to do the same. They imitate what they see at home.

Emotional Bond

The emotional bond with a mother is deep. This connection gives children confidence. When children know they are loved, they are more likely to be happy and do well in life.

250 Words Essay on Influence Of Mother

The power of a mother’s love.

A mother’s love is like a strong foundation for a building. Just like a good base keeps a house steady, a mother’s love makes children feel safe and confident. From the moment a child is born, a mother’s affection helps shape their heart and mind.

Teaching and Learning

Mothers are our first teachers. They teach us to speak, eat, and understand right from wrong. They share stories and lessons that stay with us for life. Even when we grow up, the things our mothers taught us guide us like a compass.

Mothers show us how to act by setting examples. When a mother treats others with kindness, her children learn to be kind. If she works hard and faces problems with courage, her children see this and learn to do the same.

Emotional Support

When we feel sad or hurt, mothers are often the ones we turn to. They listen to our problems and make us feel better. A hug or kind words from a mother can chase away fears and dry tears.

Mothers Shape the Future

Mothers do not just influence their children; they shape the future. The lessons and love they give their children spread out into the world as their children grow and become part of society. In this way, mothers have a big impact on what the world will be like tomorrow.

In conclusion, the influence of a mother is vast and deep. It touches every part of a child’s life and continues to do so long into adulthood. The care and teachings of a mother are precious gifts that shape not only individual destinies but also the future of our communities and the world.

500 Words Essay on Influence Of Mother

A mother plays a very important role in our lives. From the moment we are born, she is our first teacher, protector, and guide. She shows us love, teaches us right from wrong, and supports us in every step we take. The way a mother treats her child can shape the child’s future in many ways.

One of the first things a mother does is teach her child. She helps the child learn to talk, walk, and understand the world. A mother’s words and actions serve as lessons that the child carries for life. When a mother reads stories, sings songs, or even talks to her child, she is helping the child’s brain grow. This early education at home is just as important as what children learn in school.

Love and Emotional Support

The love of a mother is powerful. It can make a child feel safe and happy. When a child is scared or sad, a mother’s hug can make everything seem better. This love helps children grow up to be strong and confident. Children who feel loved by their mothers often do better in school and have better relationships with others.

Setting an Example

Children watch everything their mothers do. If a mother treats others with kindness, her child is likely to do the same. When a mother works hard, faces challenges bravely, and shows respect to others, she sets a good example for her child to follow. This is how children learn to be good people.

Health and Well-Being

A mother also has a big impact on her child’s health. She makes sure the child eats healthy food, stays clean, and gets enough sleep. These habits are important for a child’s physical health. A mother also helps with a child’s mental health by listening to the child’s worries and giving advice.

Discipline and Boundaries

A mother must sometimes be strict. She sets rules to keep her child safe and to teach the child how to behave. When a child makes a mistake, a mother explains what went wrong and helps the child learn. This discipline is not about being harsh but about helping the child understand the difference between right and wrong.

Encouragement and Belief

Mothers often believe in their children even when the children do not believe in themselves. They encourage their children to try new things and to keep going even when it’s tough. This support can make a child feel brave enough to chase their dreams.

In conclusion, the influence of a mother is deep and lasting. She teaches, loves, sets an example, looks after health, sets rules, and encourages her child. These influences help shape who the child becomes. A mother’s role is not easy, but it is one of the most important in a child’s life. Every mother’s influence is unique, but all mothers share the job of helping their children grow up into happy, healthy, and good adults.

Definition of a Good Mother

Defining a good mother in few words is never an easy task. However in a very simple words we can say that a good mother is the one for whom her child is her world. There are many qualities which I see in my mother which makes her the world’s best mother. She loves her child strongly and deeply without any condition. Apart from showering her love of motherhood she also takes care of her child with a great responsibility.

She is the statue of forgiveness and forgives each and every mistake of ours and also ensures that we realize our mistakes and understand our responsibility. A good mother does every effort to make her child one in a million and sacrifices every comfort of her life so that her child could lead a comfortable life. The selfless love a mother showers on her children is the most valuable thing in this whole world which could never be replaced by anything.

Qualities of a Mother

There are certain natural qualities which already get inherited into a woman on acquiring motherhood. But there are also few qualities which are required for becoming a good mother. The major qualities of a mother are as follows:

Responsible

Acquiring motherhood comes with great responsibility. The responsibility of taking care of child before and after birth is one of the most important qualities of a mother. She is the one who takes care of her child since birth and nurtures him to stand on his own feet.

  • Selfless Love

A mother will always shower her children with her love without anything in return. She always loves her children selflessly in spite of their mischiefs. Her love towards her children always remains the same irrespective of her child’s age.

A mother should always be supportive to their children. She should always stand strong besides her children in all of their ups and downs. She should be always there to support her children in their rightful decisions and interests.

This is the quality which every mother should inculcate on acquiring motherhood. Dealing with kids always requires a high amount of patience as they are still in a growing phase and are not matured enough to understand things at one go. Hence they need to be reminded again and again till they understand and become responsible.

The ability to understand another person’s feelings is called as empathy. A mother should be empathetic towards her child because unless you understand the feelings of your kid you will not be able to understand his/her issue.

Why Mother is Important in our Life?

The importance of mother could be easily understood from the fact that the first word uttered from the mouth of a child is ‘ma ma’. She is the source of life and the reason for our existence. She is the one who can happily sacrifice everything in her life just for the sake of her child’s happiness. Is the first teacher of a child who introduces him to the world and the first best friend with whom we can share all our secrets.

Mothers are the backbone of every family who binds the whole family and unites it into a single but powerful entity. They give us the confidence to face the world and motivate us to achieve success in our life. They are the only one who will never have any ill thoughts against their children and always pray and hope better for them. A good mother acts like a sculptor who moulds her children into beautiful sculptures which are highly appreciated and respected in the society.

My mother is the holy creation of god and a source of providing life to us. She is a sacred statue of selfless love, sacrifices, forgiveness and patience. She is the guiding soul who helps us to progress on the right path and achieve success in our life. Mother’s selfless love towards her children could never be replaced by anything in this world. We as her children should do our best to make her happy and comfortable all the time especially when she becomes old. It is our responsibility to bestow her with the same amount of love, care and understanding as she had showered on us when we were young.

In this short essay on mother, we will see how our mothers accomplish these roles with perfection.

There is an unbreakable bond that develops between mothers and children immediately after their birth. Mothers can understand their needs even before children start speaking or walking, and this is why children might tend to incline more towards their mothers. Since a child’s birth, his mother stays with him, puts up with his anger and joins him in his playful mischief, which naturally builds their relationship. Thus, the mother can become the child’s best friend in no time as she understands him, plays with him and cooks for him.

The mother essay in English also talks about how we learn many things from our mother as she guides us on what is right and wrong. Whenever we make mistakes, our mothers will soon correct them and make us understand why it is not right to do so. She also supports our decisions and is always there for us. A mother is the best teacher and mentor that one could get. Not to mention how she takes care of us when we fall sick and keeps us protected.
